A family-friendly hotel, Comfort Inn Greensboro is situated in the heart of Greensboro and area attractions include Four Seasons Town Centre, Greensboro Coliseum, and Bicentennial Garden. "Great place"
I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. There are many shopping areas and restaurants near by. The hotel it self was very clean on the inside. The room size was small. It almost seemed cramped with the king size bed. Where the ice machine and vending machines were there seemed to be a problem with soda machine leaking water, it had a towel under the machine […] and the machine did not take dollar bills. "No breakfast"
I'm an early bird so I was up at the crack of dawn to grab the continental breakfast before heading back on the road. Boy, did I lose with this hotel. There were very few food choices and the waffle machine was a joke. A guy even walked up and opened my waffle iron and when I told him I had just put it in he replied "looks like I'll have to start it […] again" and laughed... "Worst fire alarm ever"
I would say fire alarms in general aren't pleasurable. However, at this hotel, it is the worst alarm ever. At 7:30 in the AM on a Friday morning, a guest burnt their toast. The loudest and most annoying alarm went off that couldn't have even been identified as an alarm. Stayed at the hotel during a winter storm. The parking lot and sidewalk was a sheet of ice, no preparation or attempt to remedy the situation, even after I mentioned it to the desk clerk

I am a frequent traveler to this area since my son attends college close by. My usual hotel was not available, so I booked here knowing that the location was convenient. The room itself (king) was fair, spacious and clean. It had an up-dated bathroom, but the decor was in poor taste. The shower was a mere trickle. The breakfast in the morning was very […] nice, but not enough tables for the maybe 15 people trying to eat. The halls were dark, dingy looking with thread-bare carpeting. It was May in North Carolina with very hot temp (high 80's) and yet the pool was not open. There was no place to sit outside to even enjoy the weather.
