      This hotel may be a little out of the way, but is well worth the time it takes to get there and well worth arriving early enough for dinner. The staff is fantastic and the food is amazing. The perfect way to spend a wonderful evening with wine, family, and a great dinner outside on the front deck. Breakfast was included in our rate and a nice spread with homemade breads and local jams. I think if we had not already had reservations for the next night we would have driven back out of our way to stay here again and certainly will the next time we are in the area!

    I've been staying here for years and my only complaint is in the winter the rooms are very hot. Even opening the window doesn't help

    When we first got there the foyer smelled bad of smoke. However our room itself was great. It was a standard 4 star hotel room. Nothing I could say wrong. The view was great, the hotel staff where helpful in directing us places. Not too far from city centre.

    Der check-in war unkompliziert, obwohl wir zu früh da waren. Zimmer waren in Ordnung, nur die Betten waren zu weich, aber da ist ja jeder so sein eigenes Wohlfühlhärtegrad. Lage ist 5-10 min von Innenstadt entfernt. Im Allgemeinen empfehlenswert.

    Wir wurden nett empfangen. Zimmer sehr sauber. Lage perfekt, da man zu Fuß in die Stadt laufen kann. Tipp: in den Ferien kann man auf dem Parkplatz der Schule links vom Hotel kostenlos parken. Das Frühstück hatten wir bereits oft mitgebucht und ist super.

    Nach einem Theaterbesuch wurde uns noch um 22:30 Uhr hervorragendes Essen mit einem super freundlichen Service serviert. Ebenso perfekt waren auch Bedienung und Qualität in der Bar sowie beim Frühstücksbüffet, das keine Wünsche offenließ. Ein sehr empfehlenswertes Haus!

Sauberkeit bei Bezug im Sanitärbereich mit Mängeln, die aber schnell beseitigt wurden. Schwimmbad i.O. wie auch Saunabereich. Fitneßraum nicht vorhanden sondern ausgebaute Beistellecke von rd. 6-7 m2, […] 3 etwas älteren Geräten und Schwimmhallen-Luft. Restauration gut.     Das Hotel ist sehr schön, gut gelegen und das Zimmer war sehr sauber. Grundsätzlich sollte aber über eine Verjüngungskur nachgedacht werden. Matratzen waren etwas durchgelegen, Die Zimmertemperatur ließ sich nicht wirklich regeln und der Fernseher ist mind. 10-15Jahre alt.

    Für einen kurzen geschäftlichen Aufenthalt war das Hotel ok, allerdings orientiert sich der Preis offenbar noch am Glanz vergangener Tage. Die Zimmer zwar absolut sauber und gepflegt allerdings ist nicht zu übersehen, dass dringend eine Frischzellenkur notwendig ist. Es ist nicht zu verstehen warum in selbsternannten "Häusern am Platz" immer noch Duschvorhänge […] zu finden sind. Auch der winzige Röhrenfernseher wirkt heutzutage irgendwie fehl am Platz. Nicht wirklich zufrieden war ich mit dem Service. Da ich am Abreisetag früh weg musste, wollte ich bereits am Vorabend die Rechnung mit Parkhaus begleichen. Dies war ohne Angabe von Gründen nicht möglich. Bei Zimmerausstattung, Freundlichkeit beim Service und Preis ist das Maritim in Ulm sicherlich nur noch Platz 2 in Ulm. Für kürzere Aufenthalte kann man es als Alternative aber sicherlich nach wie vor empfehlen. Read more

    Am Freitagabend war im Foyer, der Bar und vor dem Hotel unglaublicher Lärm bis mindestens 2 Uhr früh. Er rührte daher, wie ich am Samstag auf Nachfrage erfuhr, dass eine Soul Night mit Life-Musik in der Bar stattfand, die wohl hauptsächlich jugendliches Publikum aus Ulm (keine Hotelgäste) anzog. Stolz wurde mir vom Kellner berichtet, diese Soul Night […] mit Life Musik bis 2 Uhr früh fände viermal im Jahr statt. Dass wir als Gäste einer Tagung nicht darauf hingewiesen wurden, finde ich ein starkes Stück. Wenn man so etwas schon in einem großen Hotel veranstaltet, sollte man zumindest die Gäste darauf hinweisen und sie auch einladen, daran teilzunehmen. Ich empfinde dieses Verhalten des Hotels als eine Missachtung der zahlenden Hotelgäste. Read more
