I liked the hotel a lot. The people were great ... very helpful. The room was nothing amazing ... but it was very nice ... clean and comfortable. The first room they put me in looked into a "coutyard" ... it was very dark and looking into another window ... I can't stand that ... so I asked to me moved. They were very nice about moving me and gave me […] a city room ... once I moved into that room I was very happy. I didn't like the workout room ... if you can call it that. In fact ... they shouldnt say they have a workout room. Its more like a closet. I wouldn't workout in there ... ever. My suggestion to the hotel is to get rid of it and find a local gym that will allow the guests of the hotel to pay a small fee to use their facility ... I would have paid for that. All in all ... the hotel was nice and I would stay there again if I was given the same kind of room ... and had planned ahead for where I could workout. Read more

We had a very comfortable stay there, even with a toddler. The staff was extremely helpful with various needs and suggestions for outings. The bed was probably the best part - very, very comfy. When we arrived at the hotel, the room we had booked was not available so we were given a very small room that faced the air conditioning compressors. As a comp they gave us free breakfast the next day. A very mediocre buffet. After I ccomplained repeatedly they moved us to the room that had been booked. The staff was friendly, attentive, and very helpful. The room was comfy and artistic, and we had a great view from our windows of the torchlight parade down 4th Avenue. My wife and I had the pleasure of staying at the Hotel Andra throughout our stay in Seattle and we had a great time. When we first arrived and checked in (early) the front desk staff were very cheerful and friendly, and happily took our bags into storage while we explored the immediate surroundings. Once in our room we were very surprised and pleased […] at the size and quality. The design was clean and modern with lots of closet space, a large desk and work area, a nice seating area and a great bedroom. We had an okay view that looked out onto the nearby rooftops and some construction a couple blocks away, and it was fun seeing the monorail speed by every couple of minutes. One point of greatness was the quality of the bed. We have stayed in many hotels where sleeping becomes difficult if not downright troubling because of a poor quality mattress. The Hotel Andra's bedding was wonderful and my Wife and I both agreed that we slept better there than we do at home. The location was also great as we were only 4 blocks from Pikes Place Market and all the tourist activities at the piers. I had initially hoped to book at the Inn at the Market which is right near Pikes Place, but after seeing the crowds that surrounded that Hotel, I was happy we were a few blocks away. It was also an easy walk to the Westlake Shopping Center where you can hop on the Monorail and visit the Space Needle. Overall we had a great trip and the Hotel Andra certainly played a big part in that. Read more

The room was dark but large enough but the bathroom was tiny. Staff was pleasant but not very knowledgeable. Lola restaurant next door is worth a try. Don't let them convince you to try the breakfast donuts, they aren't that good.

We stayed at Hotel Andra solely because of some of the great reviews on this site. I am happy to report that I can add to the positive recommendations. Our plane was arriving late and I contacted the hotel to ask about room service. Their room service closes at 11:30 pm and we were arriving after that. So, the hotel staff equipped our room with delivery […] menus and gave us their recommendations as we were checking in. They also surprised with a bottle of wine because it was our honeymoon! So we enjoyed wine and pizza thanks to the wonderful staff. The staff was amazing throughout the stay, and the restaurant that is attached has great food and tasty beverages. The decor is modern and clean. Also, they had personal bags of ice right there on the way out of the elevators to grab and go to your room. The location was great and and there were plenty of cabs around when the rain started to pour. I would highly recommend this hotel, and have fun in Seattle! Read more

My boyfriend and I really enjoyed the Hotel Andra. The rooms are beautiful, nicely decorated in the Scandanavian style and very, very clean. The front desk and valet went out of their way to help us and answer our questions. They printed us directions to get to the places we wanted to go. Nice, smaller, independent hotel convenient to transit (Westlake Center hub), Belltown, SLU, downtown etc.Modern, trendy decor in lobby and rooms. Lobby and adjoining restaurant (Lola) great places to people-watch on a sunny weekend! Rooms facing inward/courtyard are surprisingly quiet for an in-city hotel. Standard rooms at 250 sf are probably a bit […] cramped - we were fortunately upgraded to a suite of approx twice the size. Bathrooms are small but very nicely appointed. Overall a very nice hotel. Service was very good, though our room was not ready until after 4 upon our arrival and this sort of sent our night into a bit of a tail spin. The Suite we were in was marvelous, great bar and the location was great for walking to everything Seattle offers.

I stayed here for a business trip after reading nothing about the hotel and picking it simply based on proximity to my meeting's location in the morning. Boy did I luck out. This hotel is FANTASTIC. I loved every minute of staying there. The location is perfect - it's in Belltown, so there are tons of fantastic restaurants and bars (try List and Local […] 360) in the area. The customer service was impeccable and friendly. The room itself was wonderful - big comfortable bed with a real feather duvet, couch, huge full-length mirror, desk, wet bar, clean bathroom, huge closet, and small vanity to get ready at. The rooms have a clean modern feel and I wanted to move in permanently. I ordered room service breakfast from the attached restaurant, Lola, which was quickly delivered and delicious. I also used their business center, which is just a room with computers and a printer, but was very easy to use and was exactly what I needed. I also loved the free internet for as many devices as you wanted. I will absolutely be staying here from now on whenever I go to Seattle! Read more

We stayed overnight to celebrate a friend's birthday. After having dinner at Dahlia, across the street, we walked to a movie at Pacific Place, just around corner. We slept well in the comfortable beds, great pillows too! Breakfast at Lola's rounded out our Tom Douglas experience. We loved it!

The hotel was lovely...clean, roomy bed rooms, and comfortable beds. We asked for an upgrade and they were not accommodating even though I am quite sure there were vacancies. There is not much in the way of amenities so if you need anything from the restaurant downstairs be prepared for some hostile stares! We wanted some salt and pepper and it was […] an ordeal. When we travel we try to bring food for lunch and try to find a place with a light breakfast. You can take a 10 minute walk to get this. Noisy at night if you want the windows open, which we do. Solid hotel and location. Main complaints were broken drain in bathroom, wonky coffee maker, and major bottle/trash pick-up racket at 4/5am on Friday morning which seemed to be comically staged to rouse hotel guests (cue snickering sanitation workers.)

We stayed here on the last night of our vacation, the deluxe suit was very comfortable and we were able to walk to Belltown and Pike's market very easily. We ended up at the bar across the street for drinks and dessert (nice coconut cream pie) The only problem was a repeated loud noise like the they were emptying the dumpsters 2-3 times. Although my room was warm at night, it was a pleasant stay. The euro bathroom was really cool and a nice departure from the standard granite/wood bathrooms so prevalent now.
