I'm not very picky, but there are a few things that really bothered me about this hotel stay. The service was fine. The room was clean. The bed was comfortable. So the big stuff was fine, but there were some little things that just need to be fixed. One thing that really bugged me was the TV - it was a nice flat screen, but it was defective. The pixels […] kept freezing and it made viewing very distracting. Nothing worse than wanting to veg out after a long day of meetings and having the TV not working in your hotel room. The other biggie was the A/C - it just didn't do the job. I had it down as low as it would go and the room was still too warm all night, and this was in the winter. I'd hate to be in that room in the summer! The last issue, and I know it's a little thing..but it really bugged me, was that there was no shampoo. Lotion, conditioner, even mouthwash...but no shampoo. Just a maid oversight I'm sure, but it's never happened to me before in 30 years of business traveling, so it really ruined my morning. Loved the Peter Thomas Roth bath products...ok I'm a beauty fiend ; shampoo and conditioner were moisturizing in very dry climate. Room was spacious, extra service to lightrail made getting around easy, would stay there again

This hotel was okay. The decor is very dated ands stayed with a very southwestern motif. The room was fine, spacious enough. The hotel has a fitness center and outdoor pool but I didn't get a chance to use them. The staff was friendly. We arrived early so our room wasn't ready yet. The locations is very convenient for getting to and from the hotel. […] We had trouble getting the shuttle to pick us up at the hotel but it was fine when we left the hotel. Power went out from 1am - 530am. No alarm clock, no air conditioning. The hallways were extremely loud. For some reason the hotel staff decided to close the doors to the lobby sometime during the night, which meant that everyone entering or exiting a hallway had to swing open a set of double doors which then slammed after they went through them. This […] woke me up 5 or 6 times during the period where the power and AC was off. At one point I got up to ask the front desk clerk about the power but no one was at the desk. A security guard was nearby and handed me a glow in the dark light stick. No hot water once we woke up at 6 to get on the road. All in all, a very dissapointing experience. Read more

Nice lobby, pleasant reception. Non-smoking room smelled musty at best, possibly smoked in. Internet costs $10/day in this day and age? Seriously? Shower water pressure seriously disappointing. The location, lobby and the breakfast buffet are about the only positives of this hotel. The room was outdated with 80s style furnishings and carpets. The shower had mildew on the tiles. Remarkably bad sound-proofing. It sounded like the people in the rooms next to us (and the ice machine across the hall) were in our skulls. I didn't get a great night's sleep. I can't believe how thin the walls seem. Planes woke me up at 7am. No free wifi, and paid wifi signal seems weak. I did like the pool and hot tub. Also, the quality and comfort […] of the room was much better than at Windemere Hotel (but had bad sound-proofing). Probably wouldn't stay here again since it was so expensive after fees and taxes. Nice appearance and friendly staff. We got a refund for the taxi we took from the air port because the hotel shuttle did not turn up. The shuttle did offer free transport to nearby restaurants that evening and this was great. We liked the tea and coffee making facilities in the room and also the room size.

Stayed at this hotel on our way to California from the east coast. Real friendly people with a real nice hotel and they are dog friendly. It is very difficult to find a nice hotel that accepts dogs but this hotel went above my expectations. Will definitely stay here when I visit friends in the Phoenix area.

Staff was very friendly and courteous. My wife and I ate at the hotel restaurant. The food was excellent and very reasonably priced. The steak tacos were excellent as were the fish and chips. The complimentary airport shuttle was also a great amenity.
