Great location just off of 8th and 51stW. Very close to everything we wanted to see and visit. Hotel rooms are small but clean and do the trick. If you're planning on staying in the room often or have a ton of stuff you might want bigger rooms, but otherwise this is as good as you might expect from a hotel in this range. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

This being my first trip to NYC, I wasn't sure where to even begin looking for hotels. My friends and I were looking for a nice hotel, with a good price point, in a central part of town. Wow did we ever pick the right choice with the Hilton on 35th. The check in process was quick and easy, and the service was fantastic. The employee's remembered us by name for the whole weekend, and provided excellent recommendations on restaurants and shopping locations. Speaking of shopping; what a fantastic area! There was shopping in any direction, lots of food, and right next to the subway if you want to take a hop to any other areas. The room itself was nice; nothing outrageous, but very clean and large for a hotel room in NYC. We were three people and there was plenty of room for our luggage and room to move around. We would 100% go back!

We had a wonderful time, and would certainly recommend the hotel, and return there ourselves. The staff were extrememly friendly and helpful, and the room was lovely and the location first class.

This hotel is very beautifull I have inform all my friends and family that this is the hotel to go to. My only problem was I leave my room at 11am and place the sign in the door asking for service please, when I reach back to the hotel at 11pm the room was the same way I left it with the towels on the floor to be wash.

Nice hotel.........safe area............not far from NY. I usually visit it twice a year for 3 or 4 days each time. Recommended. The only thing that I did not like was the restaurant.

The room was great, very clean and the bed is excellent. Hotel service were good. The only concern was the complimentary breakfast on weekdays that was never been mentioned when you check in.

We stayed for 3 nights in this hotel during Hurricane Irene. The staff were accommodating and polite. The bed was comfy and the room was clean. Our only complaint was the hotel breakfast. It was a buffet style offering with few choices, lots of grease, limited fruit, and no newspaper. Fortunately, there are several restaurants close by.
"very safe and clean place to stay"
although a little far from NYC downtown, it was clean and the area made me safe to leave my car out. the restaurant down stair is amazing. my only complaint is that the room service forgot to close my door, so when I got back, I thought I got robbed, but I had locked most of my valuables so didn't end of up losing anything.

The intent of my trip was to live at this hotel and commute to NYC. What I didn't know is that everything shuts down after 12:00 in New Jersey. He knew everything, helped us with everything and clearly went above and beyond our expectations. I will definitely stay at this hotel again in the future when I want to visit NYC!! "Independent charm & Super Clean"
Feels like a family owned hotel with a little of that hoakiness vibe but I was blown away by the cleanliness and upkeep. Maybe my expectations were low but I'm not sure I've stayed in a hotel that has been this clean, smelled fresh, and had every nook and cranny perfectly cleaned. Kudos!

I was really impressed by the Westminster Hotel. There was fresh fruit and bottled water in my room on the second day, the pool and hot tub were excellent and the service was really phenomenal.
everything was great except the in room coffee- staff very courteous and helpful- beds extremely comfortable- close by to all amenities -

Deluxe room with two doubles was tiny. No services were available after 11pm on a Friday and no coffee or breakfast until 8am on Saturday morning. Not a four star in any market I have travelled to before.

We travel to Parsippany - Hoboken area to see our daughter. We have never stayed in Livingston before, but we will again. This hotel was wonderful! We have stayed at this hotel several times as it is close to my daughter's home. Our stays are always wonderful...the property is well kept, the rooms are great and include small refrigerators, a wonderful pool, great work out room, plenty of free parking...and tootsie roll pop treats each day...what could be better? $12.00 for 2 eggs-really! bowl of cereal -$16.00-really! weekend breakfast buffet-$21.00-no other options?-not even coffee and a danish-really! doorman telling me I could not unload my luggage because my car was facing the wrong way- after driving several hours-really! Hotel is really nice - but the food is ridiculously expensive, there is a charge for wi-fi (not very often in this country - and coffee shops have it for free), the atmosphere is not open and relaxed --

Booked 4 rooms- they upgraded all without even asking. Rooms were spacious and clean. Front desk appeared that they wanted you as their guest. Would definitely stay there again. Indoor pool was great.
Standard rooms are small; very small bathroom; guest room thermostat difficult to regulate - the room was either hot or cold. Couch in room in need of a good cleaning.
The hotel was nice but the TV Ch's take a long time to change. The resterunt food was not that good
My only qualm was that there was no coffee in lobby. I travel a lot and like to get a good cup of coffee in the morning. They have it in the room but it's not the same.
