We didn't know that there was a festival going on at the time of our stay. The hotel was busy but that doesn't excuse the fact that the first room that they gave us had not been cleaned so we had to move rooms. Our heater went out and was replaced immediately with a new unit. We were satisfied with everything. The only thing I did not like was the man at the breakfast bar barefooted and none of the staff told him to put shoes on. We will stay there again. Very quiet location, tons of restaurants nearby.

The room was satisfactory once you got over the smell in the room and I noticed that two doors were not connected at their hinges. Amenities worked O.K. and I had no problems with access. It was O.K. if you overlook those things.

It was OK, not the most convenient location to get to and nothing close by as to cafes or convenience stores, room was fairly clean but no microwave or small refrigerator but it did have a late model TV with HD.

Made arrangements for 3 nights stay at this hotel for our guests. They arrived very late on Thurs evening. Friday they left early in the morning and did not return to their hotel until around 10:30. Their room was not cleaned, no clean cups, no clean towels, the beds were not made. Our guests called the Front Desk to complain about this. Rather than […] offering to bring clean towels,our guest had to walk down and get clean towels for them selves. The elevator was not working well. One of our guests was a 75 year old lady. Their room was up on the 3rd floor. The Front Desk assured our guests that they would advise housekeeping and make sure that the room would be cleaned the following day. Sat morning, again, they left early in the morning and returned around 11:00 pm. Again, their room was not cleaned - no clean cups, no clean towels, beds unmade, no soap! Again, they called the Front desk and AGAIN had to go down to the Front Desk to pick up their own clean towels. Luckily, they had their own soaps. Contacted the General Manager on Monday. Her customer service skills are negligible. Will never stay or make another reservation at LaQuinta. Their services has been doing down over the years and this was rock bottom!/ Read more

Our room wasn't ready when we arrived so we waited as told to for 30 minutes by riding around Georgetown. Came back and they hadn't started cleaning it yet. Continued to wait in the car. Room when ready was nice and clean. When we went to turn on the lights over the beds, they didn't work. Elevator to the third floor was dirty and erratic. We went to Georgetown just for a quick weekend get-away. The price of the hotel was great. Location was not too far from the historic downtown area. Fortunately, it is also very near Austin (we ran out of things to do in Georgetown, so we spent the next day in Austin). Some of the prior reviews scared me, so I didn't really know what to expect.
