Raddison Suites accomodated my granddaugter, her husband, 2 children and myself in one room, which was great! Many hotels will not accomodate this many people in one room because I checked. The only problem we had was the door handle broke and we had to wait outside of our room for about 20 minutes because the maintenance man was repairing something for someone else. He came & fixed it & we had no further problems. The manager sent an employee to our room with coupons for breakfast for 2 days for the inconvience. I would definately stay at a Raddison's Suite again. This paticular hotel was excellent in all areas.

We (family of 4) have been staying at this hotel for the past several years whenever we visit San Diego. Our stays average 5 nights. This last trip, we requested a room with two double beds but were given not only a room with one king and a pullout sofa (very uncomfortable), but were also given a special wheelchair accessible room (not what we requested). This created a number of inconveniences, not the least of which was little to no counter space, an awkward shower, and a toilet that our kids had a hard time using. We'll likely stay here again because it is close to family, but we were quite disappointed that the desk staff did absolutley nothing to correct the errors they made in booking.

The hotel room was mostly clean. I say mostly because everything looked clean except for how dark my socks looked after walking around in the room. The two full sized beds were really comfortable even though we requested a King size bed. The front desk service could use some improvement. I called once before to confirm my reservations and requested a late check in. On the day of the reservations, I called to re-confirm my reservation and previously requested late check-in. It turns out that they missed a late check-in request on one of my reserved rooms. We also had trouble with both keycards and it wouldn't let us into the room. Upon talking with the front desk, they acted like they didn't believe us while they re-programmed the keycards. On our particular stay, there were a lot of kids running back and forth which lasted until midnight. I don't necessarily blame the hotel for this because it was comic-con weekend. For the price I paid, I think it was a decent hotel but could use some improvements with the front desk service.

We stayed in a ground level room facing the pool area. There was a soccer tournament and several teams were also at the hotel. We were a bit concerned about the noise level; however, while we could hear people enjoying the pool, everything quieted down at 10. No problems sleeping. There is one TV in the suite, but it is on a swivel so you can watch from the living area or the bed. This was a cut above what we expected, especially considering the 2-for-1 rate we received. Will definitely stay here again.

Our ONLY complaint was this. We stayed on the 1st floor. Outside by the pool is a restaurant / bar which was nice but LOUD. When your on a family vacation you don't need hooting and hollering at 2 in the morning. That sucked. To compensate we cranked up the AC to drown out the outside noise.

I would rate the experience at this hotel overall at 3.5 out of 5 stars. While the lobby/pool/restaurant offer a professional ambiance and would appear to be a 4 star hotel, it's actually more of a nicer 3 star motel. Guest rooms are accessed from the exterior, rather than via elevators inside the complex. The area surrounding the hotel is mostly office complexes. However, its close to the freeway and about a 30 minute drive to San Diego or to area beaches. Rowdy people outside could be heard very easily, not much soundproofing, but the place is clean and the beds are comfortable. The free Wi-Fi is also a plus. TV can't be seen from the beds, as it is located in the "separate" living area. I use the term "separate" loosely as it is separated by the TV stand. The hotel restaurant was decent priced and decent food, which is good, because other restaurants/fast food establishments are 10 minutes by car and the selection is limited. Staff was friendly. I wouldn't pay full price for this hotel, but a discount rate through Hotels.com made is reasonable.

I love the location of this hotel. It offers easy access to the freeway, and yet offers a quiet "tucked away" location. When I commented to the staff that our room seemed so far away from the main part of the hotel, we were informed that there was going to be a graduation party that night, and they were putting their other guests (us) as far away from the noise so as not to be disturbed. We appreciated that extra attention to detail. Additionally, we did not expect a complimentary breakfast to be included. However, when we received our room keys, breakfast vouchers were included, enough for our everyone in our party. That was an added convenience as we did not have to rush out of the hotel to find a place to get breakfast before our next engagement. We will definitely stay there again.

We were staying there for a Sunday evening wedding and showed up to nap a few hours before the wedding started. We woke up to a loud stampede of what sounded like buffalo running above us. There were kids running back and forth right above us for a good hour. Nobody stopped them that entire time. I would have but I feared an awkward encounter if they were attending the same wedding. If it were not for the paper thin ceilings and walls it would have been an excellent stay. The room was clean but the sleep number bed remote was broken. Other than this, the hotel staff was very friendly and the room was complete with a microwave and fridge.

This hotel was nice and well worth what we paid. It was clean and up to date on its appearance. We reserved a suite which was actually just a half wall dividing the bed and a pull out sofa bed, but it ended up being just enough for us. They had fairly large furniture so it made it feel a little cramped with 2 adults and 2 kids and all our luggage but at least it was clean and good quality. The sink, fridge, etc area came in handy and the room also had a dvd player hooked up to the tv. We will definitely stay at this hotel in future San Diego visits.

When we got there at 8:30 AM, I was thrilled that they were willing / able to check me in early as I had the family with me. They would have had to drive around or find something else to do for several hours while I was in my meetings. The rooms are cleanly and roomy. Hotel offers free Wi-Fi, refrigerator in your room, and all the rooms are very accessible to the pool. The only down side is that you're in a commerical area so there isn't much in the way of restaurants near by (other than Hooters, the Elephant Bar, and Starbucks). But it's right off I15, so jump on the highway, go up an exit and you're bound to find something.
