Good stay for the money although its a bit far from the main road in Naama Bay. The service was fantastic. Cons are that breakfast is from 630am till 10am only which isn't too bad and the walking distance from the main tourist attractions. The beach is good yet the sand is gravellish.

No need to get too deep into the reasoning behind it but security really loved to hassle me and my friend staying in the room. It was like pulling teeth every time we wated to leave the room or coming back in. I booked a 3 person room, and when we got to reception, they charged me 40 euros for the 3rd person for 2 nights…. i thought we already paid for that when we made the reservation. The breakfast was less than appealing to say the least. Aside from that, the hotel room was clean. The view was great, and the balcony was very nice. the location was great, and near the the nice section of Sharm. There are tons of bars/ restaurants around. Be sure to check whether you want poolside or ocean view. The Novotel is actually 2 separate resorts and only one of them is near the beach. The other is across the road which can be tricky to cross at times. Just because of the service, I will not stay here again, nor will I be able to recommend this hotel to anyone else. I stayed here for 2 nights and absolutely loved the hotel. Having been to Egypt many many times before, I wasn't sure whether to go for the Novotel as I usually stay at the Marriott/Hilton next door. However, I was very very impressed with my room - nice furniture, perfect location for getting to Naama Bay.. very nice. HOWEVER...bad points: 1) Ordered […] pizza first day on beach, the base of the pizza was COMPLETELY mouldy - they exchanged it straight away without any grief, but you can understand how I was a bit cautious eating from there after that episode! 2) Two of the pillowcases hadn't been changed from the previuos guest - I have this sixth sense, and I can tell when the bedding is not fresh - these two pillowcases smelt of people .... I decided not to complain about it, so just avoided the pillows in question - there were 2 others anyway, so no worries! 3) Concierge/Porter service a bit on the slow side - they need more porters. On day of checkout, I waited 15 mins and almost missed my flight, waiting for porter to come take the luggage. In the end, I lugged it myself... Etter å ha bodd på andre siden av veien fikk vi bestit rom nede ved stranden. Her er rommene en del eldre og har ikke samme standarden - men er helt ok (ikke 5 stjerners). Her er Hotels.com upresise i sin beskrivelse av hotellet. Vi ønsket et rom som lå nært stranden, og slik vi forsto beskrivelsen på hotels.com så lå Novotel ved stranden. Det viste seg da at Novotel egentlig er to hoteller - ett ligger ved stranden (beachwing), og det andre ligger på andre siden av hovedveien i fjellskråningen (palmwing) - så vær bevisst […] på hvor du ønsker å være. Dette medførte at vi måtte traske opp flere bakker for å komme til vårt rom - ikke helt som forventet. Anlegget er nybygd og rommene er fine. Ikke så koselig da at balkongene har overbygg som er fine for duene å sitte på - dueskitt er tydeligvis ikke en prioritert del av roomservice. Mycket bra hotell, för våran del blev det beach inte palm, det hade nog inte varit lika bra med tanke på storleken. Det enda vi tyckte var dåligt var SPA vi tog en behandling, dyrt och inte alls lika bra som hemma trots att det varit billigare. Vi kommer att återvända till Novotel Beach.
