I went to this hotel on Sunday, 9/6/09 and checked out on 9/8/09. The hotel is right off the main road into myrtle beach, so it was very easy to find. The hotel was clean, had no problem checking in. The room was clean and it was on the second floor. Had no trouble finding the room, or getting into the room. The price was very good considering that i made the reservation at 2am the night before. I will stay at this hotel again, it was easy to find, easy to get to, and nice for what i paid. I have nothing bad to say about it. You should be happy to stay here and i will again.

Hotel far exceeded our expectations for the price and we chose to stay at this location due to peoples reviews. We will stay here again when we visit Myrtle Beach in the future.

I have stayed in 4 and 5 star hotels that were as nice and clean as the Fairfield Inn! I would definitely recommend this hotel to all! All of the staff were extremley nice. I cant say enough about the Fairfield Inn. I will stay there again if and when I return to Myrtle Beach, S.C. Thanks Fairfield Inn for a wonderful experience! You all truly exceeded my expectations!

Surprised my husband with a one night getaway. Hotel staff was very friendly, rooms and hotel were very clean. Super location close to beach and shopping without all the traffic jams of the strip!

It was our first family vacation and after a long plane ride and three young children it was nice to be greeted by friendly people. The hotel was clean and it a safe location. We would go back again.

I was expecting this hotel to just be a standard chain hotel but this was not the case. The receptionist was very friendly as was the manager. The hotel room itself was very clean and provided everything we needed including a fridge and microwave. Although we didn't use the pool or hot tub, we go and see it and it looked clean and inviting. The variety at breakfast was great including waffles, muffins, fruit, cereal, coffee, toast etc. A perfect place for a short stay in Myrtle Beach!

The room was nicely decorated. I especially liked the bed scarf. We were pleasantly surprised to see a microwave and fridge in the room. Plus, we didn't have to search endlessly for the ice or soda machines. Breakfast was amazing and completely unexpected in the variety of foods available.

The only good thing in this hotel is the breakfast.When we arrived to the hotel the first room that we got: No ready at 4:40pm Second room: dirty sheets.Third room:noisy.Bath near to the pool area was dirty.This is not a new hotel and needs improvement.Staff in the breakfast area a little bit rude.Friendly staff in other areas.

The staff was friendly, the location was great, but the room stunk very bad. The AC unit kept malfunctioning, which may have caused the wet, moldy smell in the room. The smell killed the comfort of the room, which was otherwise spacious. We asked for help on the AC, and the second time around we're told we were on our own.

Good value for money. Clean room with comfortable bed, pillows and clean linens. Location is good too with nearby restaurants and attractions (e.g. Alligator Adventure, Barefoot Landing etc). Not really close to the beach though. (around 1-2 miles)

The Fairfield Inn was a great bargain and located very close to several major shopping centers. The new beds are as comfortable as advertised which was fantastic after a long drive. The breakfast bar was well stocked and their free high speed internet had a strong signal.

Hotel was undergoing repairs in the pool area so that was not available to use. Ours was a short stay so not a problem and if staying longer, the beach was not too far away. Upon check in we were told that our room was over the pool and that there would be noise during the day - it was good that we knew what was going on. Nice continental breakfast included - comfortable beds but air conditioner caused room to smell a bit musty.

Very nice place. Reasonable rates. The room was clean and the beds were very soft. Not sure if that is a good or bad thing because I was just plain exhausted from the drive to get to the destination. I choose this hotel based on the rates and the location of our true destination. The complimentary breakfast was very good and a wonderful variety of breakfast foods to choose from.

it is a small hotel but was great for us, a family who is on a budget. the breakfast service alone saved our budget greatly each day and was well stocked with a nice selection. the pool is small but well kept was great for our purpose, children. very nice stay. also the mall is within walking distance.

The hotel was clean and the bed was very comfortable. We were in town for a day of shopping and were planning to check out at eleven. House keeping knocked on our door at 8:30 claiming they were told we were gone. Up and down the floor all we could hear was doors being knocked on and noisy employees. Don't stay here unless you plan on leaving earlier than planned.
