The furniture was well worn. The blanket on the bed had a cigarette hole in it near the top. I would have at least put that end of the blanket on the bottom of the bed. The rug had a clearly marked burn in the shape of an iron near the door. We should have taken pictures to show.

Very affordable rates, but you don't get much for your money. Sink with broken drain plug. Luke-warm "hot" water. "Free Wi-Fi" with just a trickle in band-width. "Free breakfast" was a selection of: cereal (one kind), mini-donuts, english muffins, coffee, and instant orange juice.

Hotel was very run down. We were staying before attending UCF orientation. There was a large crowd that hung around in the parking lot a good portion of the night. Apparently construction guys are also living in the hotel. Since the rooms are non-smoking they all hang together at the stairwell day or night to smoke. The hotel and staff where very nice. The rooms were clean and tidy. The only things I found unpleasant was that one of the rooms booked smelled musty. We arrived late at night as we were at UCF for family weekend and at football game and dinner and such. When we got to our room tired and ready for showers, we found that we only had scalding hot water! When we went to front dest, they were rude and said they were sold out and had no other rooms. Our room was extremely smelly. We were almost compelled to buy febreze because it was very unpleasant. We had to blast the AC and leave the door open for 15 minutes to get rid of the musty smell. There were no trash bags on the trash cans. When I asked about, I was given trash bags but they never remove the trash from the room. Housekeeping would come by to give more towels, but never take the dirty towels. They never came in the change sheets or make up the bed. There was a coffee pot, but no filters.
