I recently stayed here and left my wallet in my room by mistake. When I got it back from the hotel it was missing 2 credit cards. Do not stay here if you can help it!!!

We had reserved a non-smoking room about 2 months ahead of time and the motel only had smoking rooms available on our check in. They did offer another hotel further way as an alternative which was not acceptable. The Kingsport Comfort Inn is fairly typical of hotels near freeways. Overall it was comfortable, clean and convenient although it is a little strangely located behind other businesses that line the exit road. As long as you look for the entrance sign, which is easy to see, you will get there without any trouble. One slightly strange thing about the […] bathroom design was that the room was more or less triangle-shaped with the door in the hypotenuse. This meant that the rather large door swung through much of the room. It wasn't impossible, but a bit odd. We made the reservations here because we were traveling with kids. When we checked in, we noticed the pool was covered. I asked about it and was told it wasn't working. The iron was broke and leaked water all over the clothes I was trying to ready for wear. The ice machine on our floor was out of order and most vending machines were out of order. The […] breakfast was not good. I would have gone somewhere else if we hadn't had the 2 small, tired children with us. We stayed at a different chain in Corbin the night before and were satisfied with all of the above there. We also paid $25 less for the same type of room. The hotel staff was friendly . The bathroom floor was dirty . The beds squeaked real bad . The wall plug behind the night stand between the bed was broke and not secured to the wall . The noise from the trains that passed by was extremely loud .

Fine for a shower & sleep stay. Only 1 of the 3 lamps had working bulbs and the phone didn't work at all. Check in seemed take ages and it was about 1am--not busy. Hotel facility showed its age. Staff was accommodating, but not overly friendly. Bed frames were ridiculously noisy/cheap. TV had no remote.

Very overpriced at $80. Old and marginally kept up. Toilet did not work in the first room. Air Conditioner barely kept the room comfortable although turned on the coldest setting. Beds are on metal boxsprings that "creeked" every time someone turned over. It was okay besides the fact that the elevator was extremely slow. It is a good thing it only has 3 floors so you can take the stairs (which we did after waiting for the elevator for 10 minutes). It was also unfortunate that when the elevator got to our floor (2nd) there were 2 housekeepers on it with their carts which took up the entire elevator and […] they just smiled at us so we took the stairs. I thought that was very rude. The room was clean though and the breakfast was good. They had a variety of pastries, muffins and had blueberry waffles. It was very nice inside the hotel. The entrance was a little confusing, and the outside appearance of the hotel looked very plain. I didn't know until I got inside that it was nice. The staff was very hospitable and made the stay very enjoyable.

I found a juicy juice bottle under the bed. It was from some prior guest as we did not have this item. Staff was very nice. Highway access was not very good. The price was higher than the hotel I normally stay at in that area, but the room was about the same as the other hotel. This was not a planned trip, it was due to a death in the family.

We were pleasantly surprised to find this hotel so close to the track at a reasonable price on a race weekend. Nice hotel, about the only thing I have to say on the downside is the rooms could be a bit larger. 4 adults in the room is was quite cozy, Enjoyed our stay. Nice place. Thanks
