The door to our room stuck but some maintenance attention and this appears to be a fairly modern building in need of maintenance. A minor issue our door, they offered to put us in another room but once I found I could easily get the door open it wasn't a problem. The staff were nice and friendly. It is a downtown area with lots of traffic and sounded like muscle cars, got woke up a couple times with sirens or whatever must be near hospital ambulance service fire or police not sure. The rooms were clean and beds very nice and comfortable which was the most important thing. Visiting relatives there we were not hanging around the hotel much just long enough to get cleaned up. On the whole for what we wanted, an expensive hotel to sleep comfortably and get cleaned up it was fine.

"Smoky hotel"
I would not stay here again. The lobby and hallways were very smoky smelling, although I did not notice it in my room. The beds were uncomfortable, and very lumpy. The hotel just seemed a little outdated and tired, needs some updating for sure. Breakfast was smaller than other Holiday Inn Expresses I have stayed at. Eggs were powdered and awful. The […] kids liked it because all they want is froot loops and muffins and donuts. Front desk lady seemed to running the place all by herself, but she was very pleasant. "Close to our destination"
It was very satisfactory. The room was clean and neat. The complimentary breakfast was wonderful. The breakfast had many items to choose from. Ex. scrambled eggs, pancakes, biscuits and gravy, cold cereal, fruit, coffee, tea, milk, several kinds of juice. and more.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Stayed here multiple times"

"Smokey Hotel-Wont stay again"
The hotel needs some updates. We asked for a nonsmoking room which it was except that every room around us must have been smoking!! Its all we could smell until late into the night. You shouldn't have to smell smoke like you are in a bar when you ask for a nonsmoking room. The hallway also smelled of strong smoke. This was hard to explain to our children […] also. easy access from highway, clean outside, no trash lying around, sidewalks free of litter and clear to walk around outside. Inside....the entryway was spacious and very clean. the clerk was friendly and informative when asked about places to eat. Check in was easy and so was check out. "Service was ridiculous"
Service at the hotel was ridiculous, there was 3 customers before me and check-in took FOREVER. We had reserved 2 nights on Hotels.com and they checked us out on the 2nd night and I'm pretty sure they billed us a 2nd time. I need to check my bank statement. The room was tidy but there was a weird film on everything in the bathroom. Breakfast was gross. […] The pool is open 24 hours. That's pretty much the only positive point.
