Try your hand at slots and table games in the Stratosphere Casino, or place a bet at the sports book (especially during basketball, football, and racing championship parties). If you don't hit it big, you can still earn your Sin City bragging rights by leaping from the top of your hotel and living to tell the tale: SkyJump, one of 3 onsite thrill rides, is a 108-story controlled freefall offering amazing aerial views of The Strip--if you can keep your eyes open.
Jumping off the tower isn't the only reason to head to the top. The revolving Top of the World restaurant, perched 1,000 feet above The Strip, completes a 360-degree turn every 80 minutes. This casual restaurant specializes in steak, seafood, and decadent desserts. If you just can't get enough seafood, head to the Stratosphere's buffet for all-you-can-eat shrimp and crab leg nights. You can also hear DJs spin nightly at lounges like the Air Bar and casino-level C Bar.
And when you're ready to take a break, there are dozens of ways to decompress. Work off that buffet dinner any time of the day at the 24-hour fitness center, schedule a massage or manicure at Roni Josef International Spa & Salon, or make the most of the Stratosphere's high real estate--head to the 8th-floor outdoor pool for swimming and sunbathing, or to take in a desert sunset.
Relaxing in your room is easy with 42-inch plasma TVs, pay movies, and wireless Internet access (surcharge). For entertaining groups, get a suite with a separate living room, wet bar, and refrigerator. Most rooms are outfitted with large windows offering stunning views of the Las Vegas Valley and The Strip.
"Very nice good prime"
O spend beautiful days enjoying the polo área, the gym and the espectacular view from the tower.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good hotel for the price paid"
Needs maintenance, shower head, bad mattress and bad pillowsGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Not a resort experience, even though they charge resort fees for every night on top of the room fees. Plus, they charge for Internet. And the rooms were not clean, carpet is threadbare, hair in the bathroom. Overall, a disappointment.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great and affordable hotel"
One of the best hotel in Las Vegas, I enjoyed the top of the stratosphere tower, best view to see the Las Vegas and the room was so nice for the price I pay, I can't wait to go back to last vegas to stay at the stratosphere hotelGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The only improvement I'd like to see is bigger pillows. Those small pillows are very uncomfortable. I will bring my own next time. Other then that it was great.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
It was good for the weekend my wife and I were there we enjoyed very much .Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Average room, dated bathroom. Location is a bit away from the hear of the strip.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Hotel location is very convenient. Just between the Fremont experience and Las Vegas strip. Employees at the registration they are very rude ! Specifically Cornine from Baldwin Park CA. When you ask for a drink in the casino floor they take about 25 min.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Took my mom to Vegas to celebrate her anniversary. Overall stay was okay. Rooms could use an extra sweep or two along with AC maintenance. Pool didn't feel fresh.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"off the beaten path"
easy to check-in, friendly staff. The room was reasonable, some carpet stains, bathroom was less than adequate, tiny room housed shower and toilet, sink was in hotel room - sort of annoying. AC unit was at bad location, blowing right at sleepers head - and only about 12-18 from the unit - not very comfortable.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Super location and service."
Nice attention during registration. Very helpful service from all hotel personnel. A Plus in every aspect. Nice.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"at the start of the strip"
My stay was overall a good experience. The staff at the hotel was great they answered every question I had, very helpful. On the other hand the rooms definitely need a modern face lift.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Its all here!"
I wish we hadn't been so wiped out/tired! If we had energy we would have enjoyed the tower, casino, fine dining that Stratosphere has to offer at reasonable prices. As it was, we enjoyed a good night sleep in lots of comfort.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"On the Strip .. sort of"
We loved the hotel rooms and dining options. The tower offered a great view of the whole city. The pool deck was excellent. We gambled a little in the casino, but didn't see any shows. The hotel was great, but it's a bit north of the main activity of the Strip. Some of the nearby storefronts and lots are tired-looking, but nothing scary or dangerous. […] The Stratosphere is a great place to stay and I would probably stay there again if I return to Las Vegas. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great view but no perks for hotel guests"
Our room was very nice and comfortable. We paid a little extra and got a great view. We were disappointed that the hotel did nothing for the birthday we were in town celebrating. Also, no perks at the restaraunts for hotel guests. We made the mistake of eating at Roxy's Diner the first morning... it was terrible. The buffet the next morning was much […] better. Unfortunetly, when we arrived at our room, the sink was stopped up and the water didn't drain. When I called to the desk, they were very helpful and situation was resolved. the Pin up Show was amazing with all the talent, energy, music and talent. Great Show! The restaurant at the top had breathtaking views during the day and even more spectacular at […] night. The menu was limited and not much to choose from and from what we orderedk, it was not very good. I would recommend that your restaurant provider take a look and possibly changing the menu to a more traditional style. The prices are not of concern to us, however please give us improved options. the Italian restaurant down stairs was excellent, the food options was plentiful and the food was great. But more importantly, the service was professional and attentive. The overall stay was pleasurable. we will return for another stay. Please talk to the restaurant at the top. "Close to downtown Freemont Street"
Nice clean room. We asked for a quiet room and we got it. Friendly staff and helpful. Paid for the room using Hotel.Com but at the end of the stay the hotel tacked on fees for each day we stayed which took me a little over my intended budget. Other than that nice place to stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Not very impressive."
Room was not very impressive. Lacked a coffee maker and coffee, lacked a microwave, lacked a refrigerator--all amenities I've enjoyed at similar priced hotels. Food at the buffet was mediocre and not very palatable, but there was a wide selection. Rides at top of tower were unique and fun.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Typical Vegas hotel"
Average hotelroom with very noisy neighbours,we could hear every word they said. There was only 1 source of light in the bathroom so it was quiet dark.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Good hotel, great price!"
I have been in Vegas a lot, different hotels , different price levels. For the price, I think everything was great with this hotel. You get to go up to the top for free if you stay here, and the kids loved that view. Taxi is cheap in Vegas ($10-$20, single way) and we just took a cab to where we wanted to go. My only minor irritation was that the check […] in receptionist was very snotty and seemed to take pleasure in that we were 40 min early for check in and she had to charge us a $10 early check in fee. That has never happened before, and I been to plenty of hotels for work, kids travel sports and holidays. The rates was low at the time we stayed , and I understand they must make money somehow, but it just started off bad with that cheap feeling. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Great place to stay.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The stay was decent. Rooms were clean and didn't reek of smoke (unlike some other vegas rooms). Admission to the tower was free for the 4 of us (we had booked 2 rooms) which i thought was very cool. The only downside was they take too long to process each guest during check in which seems to be typical for most hotels on the strip.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Great Family Vacation Hotel"
We enjoyed being on the end of the strip to get around the rest of LAS VEGAS without a traffic jam!!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Affordable & Nice"
Stayed for one night. Enjoyed the free trip to the top of the tower and the room was nice. Good price too.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good room and great price"
A good hotel with a clean, quiet room. Wasn't noisy like other hotels I've stayed in.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Cheap hotel with good features"
The stay is nothing extraordinary at Stratosphere. The only benefit to stay here is the entry to the observation deck is complimentary with your stay. Hotel lacks basic amenities such as dispensing areas on the floors.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Stay was OK! value for the money. The good thing about the stay is we get free admission for the tower.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"First Timer in Sin city"
The Stratosphere has been my idea of Las Vegas. along with the luxor hotel its what I've wanted to see when I took a trip... I didnt realize they both were on opposite sides of the strip and that both were somewhat removed from the cluster of the other hotels.. By staying there though, you could go up to the observation floors of the tower for free […] and have 4 people per card come up too... It was a good stay for my first time.. free valet too! "Fun, but pretty far from the rest of the strip"
Stayed with my brother for a night on vacation. As guys in their late twenties, this place was exactly the right price (extremely cheap) and clean enough. It was a bit of a walk to get to the rest of the casinos on the strip. Also, the "rides" on top of the stratosphere all were stupid (how can they charge $15 for that?). It was easy to grab a bus to […] Freemont street from here. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"The price is worth the stay..."
My stay was pleasant. The service was excellent and the rooms are well kept. However, it would have been nice to have a complimentary Microwave and coffee pot in room. The hotel need more chanels on the TV. At night the AC would not come on, it worked fine in the day time. The hotel rates were great though and I will stay again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"It's not to bad"
I wasn't expecting a whole lot. We were staying at the stratosphere because it was one of the fairly priced hotels, some what on the strip, for all of our friends and family to stay at for our wedding weekend. Upside is that the casino itself is nice and clean. Plus if you stay at the hotel you get free access to the top which is fantastic. The view […] is great and the even have a bar and a few other activities. Downside, my fiancé (wife) and I had a one bed room and it seemed really small. All of our friends had a two bed and it seemed significantly bigger. So I would recommend going two beds especially if you want a big bathroom. A one bed room has a bathroom that can barely allow one person to stand in it. Plus our room had all sorts of problems: toilet didn't flush properly and was always running, bathroom door would not lock, and the room smelled like someone took a dump for the first two days. Plus, the elevators to the rooms make way to much weird sounds that it makes you feel unsafe. Last, the location isn't to bad assuming you don't mind walking about 20 minutes to the rest of the strip itself. I personally go to Vegas every year for different reasons and I've stayed a different casinos. If you are on a budget, don't care where you stay because you'll only be in your room 4 hour a day, or you're there for a short time then the stratosphere can meet those needs. If not then don't stay at the stratosphere. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Spend more, stay somewhere else"
I moved from Mandalay Bay to Stratosphere because I had an event on that side of the strip. I immediately regretted the decision. Sure, I saved some money on the rate, but Stratosphere charged me extra for 1) early check in, and 2) Wifi. (Mandalay Bay had no such additional fees.) Ok, so they nickel and dime you, how's the room? It looked clean enough, […] but it smelled like my dogs when I pick them up from boarding. (I'm not kidding...I literally thought about this...where have I smelled this before?) Everything else on property is just not as nice as the better resort casinos to the south. As is usually the case, you get what you pay for. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Casino / Hotel Stay"
It is our 4th year staying at the Stratosphere Hotel & Casino, the first year we shopped around and found a package that fit our budget. From then on out we do like coming back to the Stratosphere Hotel & Casino.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"only if you are sleeping on the street!"
We stayed for 3 nights. It's at the very far end of the strip so be aware of that. The first two nights were ok, the last night we were kept up all night by the incessant bass sound and singing coming from below us. We were on the 4th floor so I don't know if it would have been better higher up. We got relatively no sleep the night before we had to […] drive home for 5 hours. We took the in-laws to the tower, they speak relatively no English, (they speak French) and the guy at security was visibly irritated at having to wait for instructions to be translated. It was quite offensive. Told the lady at registration how unhappy we were with these experiences and she shrugged. We spent a lot of money here and will NEVER stay here again, along with telling everyone we can to choose another hotel. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
