The hotel was very nice. This is the second time in a month that my family and I have spent in a La Quinta Inn. The rooms are fairly large, and I have been impressed with the noise level. Even though both Inns were in busy traffic areas, I did not hear much noise. Both Inns provided a standard breakfast - toast, muffins, waffles, cereal and coffee. The breakfast area was very spacious and comfortable. The staff did a good job at keeping the area clean and well-supplied. As for the Burlington VT location, it is next to Al's Frys - not to be missed. Burgers, Dogs and Fries - very inexpensive and better quality than McDonald's or Burger King. The hotel is about 1/4 mile off I-89. Very convenient.

This is basically an average place. What you would expect for the $. Negatives: they were doing construction on the entrance & the side-door, which they left unlocked was not monitored by any hotel personnel. Also, the heating system was LOUD. The breakfast, on the other hand, was great.

We were there to visit the Univ. of Vermont. Only downside was the main entrance of the Inn was being remodeled and entry was thru a side door ... real pain to get luggage racks up step to door. And for some reason the maintenace staff decided to paint the trim of the only entrance to the Inn. Otherwise all was well.

The outside looked like any other hotel, and it was until we got unpacked. The air conditioning did not work, and when we called to change rooms they informed us that there was no other room to move us to and that they were going to fix the air conditioning. When they could not fix it, they magically found another room across the hallway. If that was not bad enough, the blankets were stained and there were unwanted hairs between the sheets. We were moved to a smoking room when we requested a non-smoking room. The breakfast was never refreshed, so we were left with empty coffee pots and a couple hard boiled eggs. I do not recommend the hotel at all!

Overall I liked the room. The sheets and towels were nice, not the rough papery quality you get some places. The portable crib was awesome, it was an actual metal crib, not the mesh folding kind. My two year old was sooo happy to see this. The only thing I wasn't happy with was that I thought all rooms were suites, which is apparently wrong. There weren't any suites available, but we did get a small fridge put in the room at no extra fee. There was room for the two beds, a roll away for one child, and the crib for another child. Breakfast was waffles, muffins, bagels, and I think one or two choices of cereal. There was a high chair in the dining room too, which was an added bonus for us.

My friends and I stayed there for one night. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The location was great. The problems we had were that the watering systems in the units were very loud. When the toliet would fill(without being flushed) in the middle of the night, it sounded like someone was banging on the walls. I eventually had to go into the bathroom and shut the water from the toliet off. You could also hear EVERYTHING.

The hotel staff suggested a nice place for dinner , the Windjammer. It was excellent , two minutes away and the food was awesome. It is very close to down town Burlington which had really nice shops and more places to eat. If my daughter decides to go to UVM I would definately stay again.

We went to Burlington the Friday night over Columbus Day weekend during the peak of foliage peeping and all other cute b&b's in the area were booked solid. So we went with La Quinta Inn and it was fine. The rooms were clean and the location was easy right off the highway. The breakfast that's included seemed pretty dismal so we skipped it. Overall, it works in a pinch but I wouldn't make a point to choose this spot.

First of all we forgot to look at a map or copy directions down which usually results in a nightmare looking for a hotel... but we didn't find it to hard to find, it wasn't far from the Burlington airport at all and it is literaly not far down the road from downtown Burlington, its in a great location. When we arrived I thought it looked nice, it was clean and quiet and checking in was easy. The 2 double bed room was kinda like a motel room in layout and content but it was alot cleaner and the beds fairly comfortable but I disliked the feather pillows, but thats a personal preference. We all enjoyed the pool, it was a clean and well kept outdoor pool I liked that they provided towels and had a place to put wet towels. overall I enojyed the stay and I will go back whenever I stay the night at Burlington

This was an average hotel. Had good self-serve breakfast, which was included. However, would not stay here again as the walls are paper-thin - ceilings and floors too - and we woke up every time someone walked, talked or chewed gum. Also, bathroom pipes were the loudest I've ever heard. Hotel staff was quite accomodating - it certainly wasn't their fault. But I would stay at a better hotel in town next time. However, we had to book three rooms for two nights (proud parents and grandmothers at college graduation) so this was what we could spring for.

The front desk manager was pleasant and accomodating. The hotel itself was pretty bare bones. As basic as you can get yet very clean. The room was plain as can be. Two beds, a desk, and TV. The bathroom had platic cups, though did provide a coffee maker and small hair dryer. As simple as it was, it was very the beds were comfortable. I had WiFi connection from my room which was very helpful. And they did offer a great complementary breakfast with make your own waffles which was impressive. So all and all, a good value but nothing special and certainly wouldn't stay if it was a special occasion or a romantic night away.
