"Average hotel for an average price"
Room was a non smoking room and it did NOT smell of smoke which was nice for a change. Breakfast was adequate but nothing special (pastries, cereal, juice, milk and an apple). Bed was comfortable and had clean fitted sheets. Right off of I-70 very easy to find only 30 minutes away from down town St. Louis. St. Charles is a lovely calm break from the […] bustling city. The only negative I have was about the pool. When I went for a swim the water tasted heavily of sweat. "Affordable place for your family to stay."
We enjoyed staying there loved the pool. The beds were not comfortable. Great restaurants nearby. Breakfast was ok. The staff was great they kept everything very clean. They had clean towels when you needed them.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Perfect Hide-away when Visiting St. Charles, MO"
Loved it. Every time we decide to visit St. Charles and spend the night--this is where we will stay. The pool was perfect, as was the temperature. The room was a perfect size and very comfortable and clean. We were very surprised to find a microwave and a decent size refrigerator--we were not expecting either one.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Room was very comfortable. Temp. easy to regulate. Roll away was readily available. Breakfast was a little limited but we were able to make out. Peanut butter for the waffles and toast would be nice. Overall, a very nice experience at a reasonable price.

Average place, you get what you pay for. The biggest issue was the breakfast room was wiped out when we went down and didn't have time to wait around for someone to stock it.

The St. Charles Super 8 provided us with a clean, safe room and a very comfortable bed and pillows. We enjoyed our stay. The front desk staff were friendly and efficient. The price was reasonable and the location convenient to where we were going. Thanks!
"Great staff but the building is going downhill"

We stay at this hotel quite often because of the location, the friendly staff, and it is right next to a place that serves good food and drink. The lady at the front desk is really nice and even knows my name when I walk in but the some of the bath fixtures definitely need fixed and/or replaced. Also, you don't get a notepad and pen but I guess that is not really a big deal but I do miss them. Super 8 simply needs to go in and make them update some things and get it back to where it used to be.

I found the entire staff to be friendly and efficient. The room was clean, and everything worked properly. Even the Wifi connection was far superior to my experiences in other more expensive hotels.

For years, I stayed at the big-name, high-priced hotels while traveling for business. On this trip to the St. Louis area, I stayed at the Super 8 in St. Charles. I had a clean room with fridge and microwave, a comfortable bed, and free wi-fi for staying in touch with the office. Many of the big-name hotels charge for wi-fi, which, to me, is as important as a warm shower---and I paid less than half the price charged by the big-name hotels. What more could a business traveler want?

Staff friendly, room clean and spacious. I didn't need the fridge or microwave, but it is nice to know they are available. Pool looked clean.

Pleasantly surprised at the quality of our stay. It was close to shopping and groceries. Not far from restaurants.

It was a very affordable place to just sleep. Small parking lot, so if you have a big moving truck like we did, find out where to park before hand. Friendly staff and basic room. Free breakfast had just the basics to get you back on the road.
"Hassle over forgotten item"

Our stay over all was fine. Average room & Breakfast. No complaints with the cleanliness and the help at the desk at check in and out (same person) was very nice. The problem was a few hours after I checked out when I realized that I had left my phone charger plugged in behind the nightstand. I called the desk and let them know I was 10 minutes away and would be coming back to pick up my forgotten charger. When I arrived I was told it wasn't there... The desk help (different than the one at check out) said she had called the housekeeper and she hadn't found it. We looked in the room and it had been removed. I asked her to call the owner, she left a message. I asked her to call Super 8 customer service and she called another housekeeper instead, who suggested she call the other housekeeper (the one who cleaned my room) so she did and even though she said she had called her before, it was apparent that she had not. The housekeeper told the desk help that the charger was no the cleaning cart... Which the desk help had told me when I arrived at the hotel she had already checked (while I waited at the front desk for 10 minutes waiting for her to return) We went to the housekeeper closet found the charger and I left. This put me a full hour behind my husband who left at the same time as I had from St. Louis. It was terribly frustrating and absolutely unnecassary to have such a delay!
