At first greeting I felt welcomed and treated well. I will admit that my expectations weren't very high when I booked this room for the Grand Rapids Marathon. I'd wanted to stay at the JW, or the Amway Grand, which were booked solid months in advance of my efforts to secure a room. This is a typical Fairfield Inn. The room did not have either a microwave or refrigerator which was not essential but would have been nice to have. The breakfast area is small but the selections were adequate and similar to other Fairfield Inn's we have stayed at.
