We stayed there off season (June) and it was spartan like services. The pool was closed (even though it was well into June, the lobby was always closed and could not get ice. Even when we went to get the free breakfast we were told that they were "actually" closed. Nice location and room but dont expect ANY service if you are there off season. "Perfect for ski trip"
If you need a low key place to stay to crash at after a day on the slopes and a night at the bars, this is the place. Close to the mountain and also next to the delicious Backcountry Cafe (worth skipping the free breakfast at the inn). Room was spacious, clean and the beds were surprisingly super comfortable. Cable, good temp control, hair dryer. 7 […] minutes from K1. What else do you need? Ps. Desk isn't 24/7. Tell them in advance that you're doing a late check in and they'll set you up with an interesting yet effective system of phones, envelopes and peg boards. Totally works! "Comfortable and convenient!"
We stayed here for one night on our weekend in Killington. It was a nice place to stay and very close to the slopes. Definitely not over the top as far as amenities, but a good nights sleep and a good location. Other reviews have mentioned the lack of toilet seat covers. It's true and a little odd, but not a big deal. The hotel was a bit dated, but […] nothing was broken or out of service. We were very happy with the hotel and though it was definitely worth the price we paid. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
large room, great location to Killington to ski. Not on shuttle bus route.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
comfortable, convenient location. staff was friendly. no complaints. good place to crash for a couple nights when off on a ski vacation. restaurants nearbyGenuine Expedia guest review
Overall i had a great time here. This is the 2nd time i stayed here and i will do it again. The water broke but it was fixed asap. The staff offered me another room but i waited it out.Genuine Expedia guest review
Good deal - free breakfast in the AM - very close to Killington ski resort!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
I didn't have high expectations entering. I remember the pictures on the website appearing dated. My room must have been completely remodeled in the past few years. The bathroom, kitchen and all, appeared new, and clean.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Upkeep can't be that expensive!"
I was not particularly impressed. This is certainly a bare-bones motel, which is fine, but for the price (over two hundred a night) I'd expect that basic maintenance and a decent cleaning would have been taken care of. Our room was quite dated and run down--cracked, peeling baseboards; no shower curtain liner, just a polyester fabric curtain that did […] not keep water out of the bathroom; poor door and window insulation; dingy bedspreads left over from the Nixon presidency; beer bottle caps left on the shelves and under the bed. On the plus side, the beds were quite comfortable, and there was plenty of hot water, so basic needs were certainly met, and the location on the access road was convenient to the mountain, but the operators should take some pride in the appearance and upkeep of the place, especially given what they're charging. "Great for the price"
We booked a two bedroom suite and what we got was a hotel room attached to a studio efficiency, aside from that the room was clean and comfortable but the heating system is LOUD and I could not fall into a restful sleep because of it. The continental breakfast did the trick, nothing fancy but it was everything we needed. If your on a budget this is […] the place Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
Apart from a noisy air conditioning unit (switched it off at night) and a receptionist who was more interested in her face book pages than making sure coffee and milk etc were available at breakfast not a bad option.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Functional for our family. Nice kitchen but part of a great room more like a large efficiency with the sleeper couch next to the bed. No closets. Very clean and updated bathroom. Adjoining room is a nice basic hotel room.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"GREAT place to crash after skiing."
Seven people stayed in two adjoining hotel rooms here. Plenty of space, rooms were extremely clean and spacious (just not very modern, but who cares). Comfortable with a clean hot shower and a comfy bed. The gentleman working the front desk was extremely nice and helpful helping us plan our evening as well. Can't ask for much more from an affordable […] priced ski hotel. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Close to Killington Ski Resort"
I selected the hotel seeking clean accomadations for a reasonable price and I was not disappoined. We had an efficeincy suite that was very clean and comfortable. The service staff was friendly and very helpful.Genuine Expedia guest review
Stayed here twice before and we will only stay here in the future. Great staff. Free breakfast, shuttle to mountain, clean rooms, etc... everything was wonderful. Kudos to Paris at the front desk. Very friendly. We drove from NJ and we stayed on the 3 bedroom suite.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"A condo, not an inn, with no service."
Just one persono when we arrived and she went away soon after our checking in, informing us that contrary to what the contract with Expedia said in Autumn they don' t make breakfast. For what we paid breakfast should have been included. The rroms were ok, but there was a terribly loud air conditioning.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Nice hotel, on a ski mountain."
Nice hotel, appeared nearly new. It was foliage season, not ski season, there was no breakfast as advertised, however perhaps because pre-season. Staff on the property was mininmal, however the room was cleaned each day sufficiently. Needy customers, would not like lack of front of operation staffing,,, All in all I would rate it an 8... on a scale […] of 1 to 10. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Customer service nothing to write home about"
The Hotel it self was Very nice. I had 3 rooms. The office was closed the entire 3 days we were there, SO- I was not able to get any ice, speak to someone, get a new key when mine did not work, or sign out with a real human. Also, my daughter left a book behind which I called to ask if it could be shipped. I never got a call back, after calling the […] second day home the woman told me she would call me back to let me know. I'm Still waiting for that phone call. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Room had spider webs in corner, although they advertised continental breakfast, i found it was ONLY offered in the winter months. Ack !!! No fridge or microwave in room, really could have used that. Parking lot needs to be repaired, there are dips, divots and holes.. Not fun.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"smelly no free breakfast"
Room was clean. Had a smell to it. Continental breakfast was advertised and NOT provided.Genuine Expedia guest review
The advertisement mentioned complimentary breakfast. The desk is only open from 8;00 am to 6:00 pm. Envelopes for late arrivals were on a bulletin board just inside the front door of the main building. A wall phone was next to the bulletin board with instructions. After having identified yourself you were told which envelope to take which contained […] 2 magnetic room keys,a map and a sheet explaining the basics of the facility. The sheet stated that no breakfast would be available in the summer season. (No mention of that when booking online. The room was clean, mattresses were soft. The curved shower rail was mounted 72" above the floor, which placed the mesh across the top of shower curtain below shoulder height. My wife commented that the water rebounding from my body was spraying through the mesh causing a wet floor . The single-handle faucet was mounted off center, closer to the open side of the tub which made it impossible to get a good seal between the shower curtain and wall. Tub had a Jacuzzi system and four sturdy grab bars on the walls, but I would have preferred a refrigerator to the Jacuzzi. Doors were wide with no threshold and an elevated toilet with grab bar. The suite next to our room was much more commodious. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Good basic lodging"
This is a solid GOOD property. Seems like these are condo-style units where rooms are owned by someone; rented by the real estate company. Office / front desk is closed a couple days a week. Desk services adequate but don't be looking for a concierge. Nice menu of room configurations. Quite clean and adequately roomy.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The room itself was very nice. The bed, however, had some kind of mattress topper on it that I think was to camouflage a saggy mattress. We were so uncomfortable that I cancelled our second night.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Rest & Relaxation!!"
We enjoyed our stay! The room was very clean with great mountain views, the pool was refreshing, clean & not too chlorinated (thank you!), and took a walk around the area which was very scenic.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Staff and Coffee"
We arrived late, 9:00 p.m and the staff was not on site. They left us a phone number to check in and a key. It worked. We didn't need anything until morning when was no coffee before 8:00 when the office opened. This hotel would not work for everyone.Genuine Expedia guest review
these are nice rooms; and very clean; no smells; and very quiet; the rooms are in blocks of 6 in separate buildings; so you can park close; access is easy ; got the room at an incredible discount; and was suprised at how nice it was; must stay here; everythng about the stay was wonderfulGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Good to go"
Nice place to stay for a short morning trip to the mountain. No complaints, clean room, friendly Service and the free breakfast was enough to hold me till lunch. I booked on Expedia for 30$ less than what I was quoted on the phone directly with the hotel.Genuine Expedia guest review
Hotel was great for the night that I needed it for.Genuine Expedia guest review
"okay if your on a tight budget"
I wish I would have paid the extra money for a little nicer hotel. The place is a dated, poor breakfast, no pool in winter, atmosphere was a little depressingGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Good choice for families"
My friend and I took our three teenagers skiing the weekend of March 4th. We stayed in a two room suite and had plenty of space and privacy for everyone. We had a kitchen for snacks and breakfast (they serve continental breakfast but we choose our own healthy eats), everything was clean and the maid refreshed our towels as needed. The beds were very […] comfortable too. The only real negative was the heating unit, it was loud and woke you up when it kicked on. We will definately stay here again under the same circumstances. I was worried after reading a few of the other reviews, but we did not have any issues with our stay. If you are looking for a posh, romantic escape this is not your hotel, but it fit our basic needs of cleanliness and proximity to the slopes just fine. I recommend this hotel for families or groups who place more importance on skiing than on the ambiance of the hotel. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Very pleased and surprised"
Went to for MLK Weekend and got a great rate at the hotel. I had pretty low expectations (because of the price) but was very pleased on how nice our room was. It was clean, pretty large, and secluded. It's no the Ritz but it's a terrific place to stay if you're on a tight budget. Recommend it.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"solid spot for skiers"
Great hotel, modest continental breakfast, really poor tv, nothing nice about the bathroom. It was a fine place to stay for someone just looking for a place to crash and shower before hitting the slopes. If you don't want to spend time in the room, then go for it. "Won't be my choice next time"
An older motel, nothing but a place to rest your head. The complimentary breakfast was the pits. Coffee was weak, hot chocolate was colored water, juice was bad. English muffins and bagels were stale. There was nothing much to say good about the place, we need a quick place to stay and they had a room available. They never made up the room, dropped […] off some clean towels in a trash bag. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
Staff was friendly, rooms are nice but a bit worn. Travelers are hard on hotel rooms. Heating units are loud. Plumbing in the showers needs attention. Good value for the price. We would come back.Genuine Expedia guest review
"You don't get much"
This hotel is very outdated. The male staff were extremely rude! The steps are very slippery to the 2nd floor. The breakfast was limited and very unhealthy. The location is superb.Genuine Expedia guest review
Yeah so the place was ok. Good location but no pool open in winter like they said. The bed was hard as a rock and there was hair from previous people stay all over the bed. I'm a young guy who partied and snowboarded there for for a day so I was not to upset.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Nice location and convenient to both ski resort. Ample space for family or group vacation. Friendly service.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good ski crash pad at reasonable price"
The hotel is close to the slopes and reasonably priced. The staff is super friendly. I would suggest mini-fridges in the rooms and maybe new entry doors. They don't seal shut and they let in a huge draft. Plus it's unsafe. Overall a good experience.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Solid and well worth it."
Clean room, inexpensive, simple. Very nice people. Bathroom was clean and not cramped. Towels replaced on time, and solid continental breakfast in the morning.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Great location. Nice and large rooms. The kitchen had all you need to cook or prepare a snack. The only little disagreement is that there is no reception or hotel lobby and you feel a bit alone in the wood...Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Very enjoyable stay"
I wasn't sure what to expect after reading the other reviews but I was pleasantly surprised. It wasn't anything fancy but it was more than adequate for our stay. The room was clean and cozy and the buildings were nicely set up. Didn't feel like we were staying at a hotel at all. Had more of a condo feel. The front desk employees were both very nice […] and accommodating. I would recommend staying here if you are more price conscience like us. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
After reading the other reviews, I thought this would be a decent place to stay for an overnight before doing the Spartan Beast in Killington. I should have just paid the extra $20 and stayed somewhere nicer! The service was fine, the check-in was easy and the room wasn't dirty. However, nothing in the room has been updated and everything was worn down […] and old. The bathroom ceiling had some sort of dirt or mold (it was brown) on it, and when we took showers, the room got too steamy and the brown liquid dripped down on us. Happened to be right over the toilet area and caused some confusion at first. Pretty gross stuff. I only hope the cleaning people realized what it was and didn't think it came from us! I think the majority of people staying in Killington are tourists and looking for nice accommodations -- this is definitely not it. If you want a cheap, centrally-located place that you won't be spending much time in, this would be a better option for you. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
