I was surprised that a hotel so far away from the airport would have shuttle service (it wasn't free, but it was definitely reasonable). I did have to wait quite a while for the van to arrive (I think they only have one in use) and I was afraid they had forgotten to pick me up, but the staff at the hotel were in contact with the driver and had my phone […] number and seemed to be on top of it all. Room was very nicely decorated - this was an older hotel that had been updated. The updates were a plus at this hotel. Was not crazy about the entrances to the rooms- they were card keyed but not watched at all. And no elevator close to the room.

The photos don't do it justice as it makes the place look a little run down and shabby. The hotel is not and our rooms were very up to date and the surrounding area was safe and very convenient to the freeway. I'd stay here again.

The hotel was wonderfully located to the Columbus area. Very pretty neighborhood. Access to the Ohio State Fairgrounds was convenient. All employees were very friendly and professional. I could not have asked for anything better.

When I arrived, at 11 pm, there were two men behind the check-in desk. One silently pointed to the other. The other waited on me. He seemed to be doing his best, but he was very confused and slow, and mumbled badly. (Yes, he was a native speaker of English. Possibly he was a bit deaf, or maybe just very tired.) I had to ask him to repeat everything […] he said. When he finally had the process almost finished, another customer arrived to get checked in. The silent man who wouldn't wait on me also refused to wait on him. He just pointed at the one who was slowly getting my card-key ready, and stood picking his teeth. The one who WAS working switched over to help the new guy for a while, and when he came back to me, I had to remind him that I needed a key...which he had to search for, having lost it on the desk. Then I had to tell him I'd need to know the room number. After we got that all taken care of, I carried heavy bags down the long, dark, dirty hall and let myself in -- to a room that was already occupied! Had to trudge back, still carrying heavy bags, and explain that I needed a different room because the one he'd sent me to was already in use. // This facility is very old, and badly in need of renovation. Windows do not open. However, they have invested in high-quality beds and good bed linen, and that was very nice. Read more

Veryenjoyable stay. Quiet and comfortable. Probably the best sleeping I've had in a hotel, both nights. Only complaint was breakfast seemed a little overpriced, and we ordered off the menu and didn't try the $9.99 buffet.

The service I received from Hotel personnel was fantastic, they were very responsive to all of my travel needs and questions. Only drawback-someone had definately smoked in my non smoking room. Other than that, the stay was great.

Small bathroom, tub filled up while I showered which grossed me out, confusing layout of hotel, comfortable beds, I LOVED being on high street. It was easy to get where I needed to go in either direction, and there was plenty of restaurants, shops, and parks close by!! Also, there were some very friendly people working there!

I stayed here for two nights. They have Sleep Number beds, on which I just could not find my sleep number. It did not feel like a regular mattress to me, and I was never completely comfortable. I called the number hotels.com provided and asked if we might be able to get a roll-in bed for a 5 person. They said yes, but when I asked the hotel when I arrived, they said it was a fire policy that they could not give it to us because we already have 2 queen size beds in that room. It makes me wonder if the number I received was just for hotels.com […] and they wanted me to just book something from them right away. We especially like that it is located right next to the interstate; and is near a large Kroger store and restaurants. Nice neighborhood. The beds were very comfortable. Only complaint is the breakfast buffet...the fruit bowl could use more variety of fruit. Service is very good.

To be fair we were here briefly on evening then left before dawn. Pros -The room was quiet and comfortable beds and pillows. Room was appealing. Obviously cosmetically updated property. Cons […] - Older, looks like a former apartment complex. Very large. We parked at a building some distance from front desk had to haul luggage up half flight of stairs from parking lot. If this is a problem need to address with front desk before room assignment. Parking lot felt a little isolated in dark and not sure about surrounding area of town did not see much to make fair assessment. That being said. We have 3 young children, and when we made the reservation, my husband asked the person if we could have a rollaway - they said depending on the location, they all have different policies, it might not be ok, but since it is for a child, it should work out. When we checked in, we were told we could not have a roll away, period, and were offered NO […] OTHER OPTIONS! What were we to do, have a child sleep on the floor. It was unbelievable. There is no reason that a small bed could not be placed in our room - there was a clear aisle. The woman at the front desk was not pleasant and just said, NO - it was a fire code, no exceptions. I was very unhappy with the service and options when I have a 9 year old and 5 yr old twins. We would not stay at a Holiday Inn again.
