They are in the process of updating the property. Door lock broke. AC so so at best. Carpet so dirty had to wear shower shoes.

we stayed two nights the second the room had not been cleaned beds bathroom and so on. we complained so we had to move to another room at eleven night, suitcases and belongins. never more econo lodge no hairdreser.no iron old and dirty rooms, bad location, people shouting at night poor quality breakfast. I did not enjoy my stay at this hotel! The room smelled weird, I had to spray some of my perfume to make it go away! The walls looked like they were coming apart! The surrounding area was not a nice one to walk around in! Its conveniently close to the road that leads you to the beach, but i wouldnt stay here again!

I was abit disappointed. They could have done much better. The location is in the middle of nowhere though they claim that are close to the beach. Hotel looks ancient and rundown. They are updating some of the rooms, but they have a lot of work to go. Ours looked like it had a coat of paint thrown on over the old and some new tiles, but it was nothing spectacular. It also had a weird smell. You'd think they would have fixed up the lobby to give a better first impression.

Hotel is in a great location. Great price for the summer rates. Short drive to the beach surrounded by stores and food places. The hotel did not have any where for me to hang me clothes. The hotel could really use a good overhaul, add mini fridge and microwave.

It was hard to get the temp right either to hot or to cold. The bathroom door would not shut. There was a hole in the door that had been poorly fixed. The bed wasn't made very well. I couldn't park right in front of my room. Was told there was alarm clock by clerk but there wasn't. Traffic was very loud right next to interstate.

When traveling this is not the hotel that I would stay at. Everything smelled like cigarette smoke we had a no smoking room. we were up graded to a King room due to someone was all ready in the room we were designated. Room was not clean, half eaten food left in drawer from previous guest, sink stopped up the entire stay after letting them know 3 times, would not recommend this place to anyone, Econolodge is usually a decent chain but not this one.

Upon entrance of the room it was immediately filled with the smell of urine. I believe the room may have had bed bugs. Last few days of stay the tv only got 5 channels. I refuse to go back to the hotel ever again.

Probabaly the worst hotel i have ever stayed in. We did a late night check in and had to check in though a bulletproof window, this is probably due to the fact that the surrounding area is not the nicest. Upon getting to my room, i noticed a large old blood stain in the carpet in the corner by the window, but hey at least it wasnt fresh. The bed sheets […] felt a little funky, but its been a few days and i havent noticed anything wrong with my skin. The bed i was using was a bit crooked and uneven in spots. The door was proabably the worst part, the top lock was broken off and the door was dented in on the top half, so people could peek in and all the street sounds came through the door. The handle locked seemed to work. The room was large and the bathroom appeared to be pretty clean, although i did not use the shower during my stay. Read more

Our room and the corridor were extremely dirty (including cigarette butt, bad smells, dusts on the TV and dirty window). Overall, our room clearly needed to be renovated (falling ceramics, moving toilet, dead mattress). At least, it was cheap...but we would definitely not recommend it...

Well, the best thing I could say about this place is there were no bugs. However the room obviously wasn't cleaned very well before we arrived, my wife found a half of xanax on the floor and I found a condom wrapper. Thankfully we were only staying the night and then moving on to our next destination but I would NEVER choose this hotel for anything […] more than a layover. Just know whay you're getting before you go. We didn't even lay under the sheets because they didn't smell good and we assumed that they may not have been changed. So we put our dirty t-shirts over our pillows, pulled off the comforter and slept on top. Once we arrived at our final destination we each took very long showers. Read more
