Staff was very nice and room was almost perfect. The curtains over the window next to the walkway were gauzy; while they did prevent anyone looking into the room, they did not prevent lots of light getting into the room when we were trying to sleep. Overall it was a great room with a huge balcony.

The room was nice but, the bed was very uncomfortable. We woke up both mornings with major backaches. We liked that it is located on a main street close to restaurants and stores. The staff was very nice and courteous.

Made reservation late so had to stay in smoking room. The hotel neeed to leave more towels for guests. Had left note with cleaners to leave more towels, but they did not leave them. Also ice machine broken & no note left to let guests know.

I wasn't looking for anything fancy - and the econo lodge was excellent. it was clean, staff were friendly. and they even have a pool! It's good value for the money. It's not fancy, but it is clean, and well-maintained and relatively modern.

Other than the room being a little on the small side, it was just fine. Convenient to I-87, safe to go running with sidewalks nearby. Also 2 non-fast-food places to eat nearby. Pool was on the cool side, but that's great for lap swimmers.

The hotel is certainly convenient for what I had gone to Plattsburgh for. It was also priced reasonably compared to surrounding hotels. Our room had an odd "bleachy" smell that was overpowering. The room was old and extremely basic. Continental breakfast was very basic-cereal, english muffins and waffles-no fruits or yogurts.

Right off the expressway, and surrounded by many restaurants and stores, this hotel was very convenient for the price. The rooms were clean, service was good, and consumer-oriented amenities, such as continental breakfast, gym, swimming pool, and free parking.

Was good place to stay. Nice pool, clean and quiet. Far enough from highway to not have noise but only few minute drive. Definitely stay there again.

We went at this hotel for one night and it was perfec, the price, the pool, the breakfast. It's a cheap deal if you look around and it also was very quiet.

The room was real warm and you couldn't open the windows so I had to use the AC. It took about 2 hrs for the room to cool.

The room was clean, front clerk extrememly nice. Pillows in room way too uncomfortable so I had to go buy some from the walmart down the street my second night there. The walls are paper thin! Had a crying baby across hall, a loud gentleman next to me and both sounded as if they were in the same room as me. But for the price it was ok. No fruit or anything […] healthy for their breakfast so bring some with you. PS also a ski trip with tons of kids running up and down the halls yelling and just being teens. The building was old, which is understandable, but not as well maintained as we would have liked. The carpets were dirty and there was not the usual stock of shampoo and body wash available. We ended up driving to Walmart on Thanksgiving to get some. The housekeepers were very helpful the next day and did supply us with the needed products. Great hotel for the price. Yeah it's not going to be top notch, but seriously...was that what you were expecting? Very clean, decent pool and the staff were very helpful. Great place to stay with the family for a night or two.

The rooms were acceptable, but not the cleanest. I had to wipe up a coffee stain by the TV. The two pools were large, the area was clean and well lit as well as venilated (no clorine overload!) The workout room was one elliptical machine. Breakfast was all carbs, waffles, toast, cereal. Not a piece of fruit in sight. I would have liked some oatmeal […] or yogurt, but none of that either. By 8:30 they ran out of all english muffins and toast. When I asked if they had more, the woman was very unpleasent. EconoLodge in Plattsburgh New York. It was a nightmare. The room was extremely dirty. Sheets were stained. Air Conditioner didn't work at all. Bathroom had hair in the tub. Towels were dirty. We were upgraded to a suite and that wasn't clean either. There was lube on the sheets. There was an empty bottle of shampoo near the jacuzzi. The jacuzzi was […] dirty. Would definetly spend the extra dollars and go somewhere else. Horrible experience with my husband and two children. The pool is also, NOT heated. Not even swim-able. Free continental breakfast, not even worth going for. Not even soap in the rooms.
