The area was far from the event I was attending. We had to use the pool at a nearby hotel, because the hotel was being renovated. Overlooking the ocean, wasn't what we expected. It was one of the pleasant hotel stay for me so far. The staffs were very helpful and provided good customer services. I was much disappointed with the jetted tub. It was rosty and not well cleaned. Over all, it was a good stay.

I was happy with the hotel. It was nice to have a little shop in the lobby that sold snacks and all the amenities in the room. The room was very nice and comfortable. My only complaint is about the pool area. The pool really needs to be updated and work needs done on the pool deck. There was yellow caution tape around the one end of the pool. Also for […] an indoor pool it was cold because of the glass enclosure and the roof. The cold outside was felt inside due to the glass. They also need to maintain the pool water a little better. I have been a lifeguard and know how an indoor pool should be maintained and I was disappointed with this one. Usually with an indoor pool you can smell the chlorine but this one you couldn't tell and the water was murky. In the summer it would not matter because you have the ocean and bay to swim in but in the winter an indoor pool is really nice so I appreciate the hotels that have indoor pools as long as they are well maintained. The one thing I really liked though is the fact that they do allow one night stays. Most hotels have a mandatory 2 or 3 night stay and I don't like this because there have been times when I like going away just for one day and like to be able to stay just for the night. Read more

Pro: Nice hotel, would stay again. Within walking distance to the event we were attending. Con: Very strong chemical odor in hallway leading to our room, probably from cleaning solutions. TV in next room was very LOUD and left on all afternoon and into the wee hours of the morning, had to keep the fan on all night to mask the noise.

I tend to be a bit of a hotel snob but for a cheap place to stay this was perfect. The room was a good size and very well appointed. Beds the perfect level of soft to firm for my tastes. I used the pool and I'm sure it would have been more enjoyable except for the mass number of children. The jacuzzi also had no bubble to it. The hotel staff was very friendly and informative though. This hotel was a good bang for the buck, it is not beach front and very few rooms have bay view. I was staring at some lovely houses and a parking lot. After going into the hotel room and opening the refrigerator to place our sodas, We found mold inside the fridge. Went to turn on the heat. The heater in the room was so noisy that we couldn't leave the heater on at night and sleep. Spoke to hotel staff about the problems and someone was sent to clean the fridge and look at the heater. Hotel staff never […] contacted us about the heater's noise and heater remained noisy throughout our stay. Unable to use pool or hot tub facilities due to the "playground" atmosphere of 20-30 unsupervised children. Internet access was only accessible if you used the ironing board as a "table" and a chair seated next to the door of the hotel room. If we had been able to afford to leave this hotel and seek other accommodations, we would have without hesitation. It was the most disappointing stay that we have had in a hotel in many years. P.S. Complaints: pool and spa was closed and no concession despite it not being noted on Hotels.com. They wouldn't even upgrade to a better room, despite overhearing that they had PLENTY of rooms available when we were there. Second, there is NO continental breakfast as described. However, the plus is that there is a Denny's attached, which also wasn't noted […] (who is writing their listings?). After walking into an uncleaned room, they did upgrade my wife and I to a King bed with a whirlpool tub, which was pretty nice. It's definitely worth asking for the upgraded bayview so that you can watch the sunset over the bay. Overall nice hotel, clean and comfortable and certainly worth the bargain we received over Veteran's day weekend. Read more

Our room was fine, but when we got back to our room late & tired, the toilet overlowed- through no fault of ours. The response from managment was very prompt (came up right away), but the woman who came was abrupt, rude & abrasive. There was never any apology offerred. Her attitude implied that SHE was being inconvienced. When we asked for the bathroom […] to be properly disinfected, she responded that "there was no maintenaince staff on duty". She also stated they could not move us to another room. Instead she left & came back with a wad of guest towels to mop it up, and then just sprayed some cleaning stuff. The next morning, when we cheked out, we asked to speak to a manager about our disatisfaction with the way it was handled. We were told he was not on duty. The man at the front desk looked at his computer, and stated that "according to this, it was handled satisfactory"! We explained that while we understood that plumbing problems can occur, our complaint was how it was handled. We basically got the brush-off from him, and again, - no apology. We loved this hotel! Staff was very welcoming & the connected Dennys was wonderful. The only compliant we had was about the pillows, they are roughly the size of throw pillow & make for an uncomfortable night. But overall everything was great!

Its Ocean City at the end of the season so you expect the hotel to have that worn out look. It was fine for a modest hotel and quiet for the one night we were there, even on the first floor. Lots of parking.

Room is pretty clean, service was good. Kid loves the pool. Only complaint is crossing the highway to get to the beach. There is no cross walk, u have to go up or down 1/2 a block to cross at intersection.

My roommates and I wanted to get away for a weekend at the beach. The hotel was clean and the staff friendly. There is a bus stop along coastal highway not far from the hotel, which made getting to the boardwalk or anywhere we wanted to go very simple.
