the room had two sinks, one leaked from the shut off valve and a town was necessary to keep the water from getting on the counter. the second sink had the hot and cold water lines switched. So what should have been hot was really cold, and vice versa.

When we arrived at the hotel and checked in our door had been taken off of the hinges. There was a repairman in our room fixing the door. The following day we left at 9:00 a.m. to drive to a funeral in NW GA. Upon arriving back at the hotel at 4:00 p.m. our room had not been cleaned. We called the front desk and they were rude and told us to call housekeeping. […] Housekeeping brought us new towels and we said we were in for the night and did not need housekeeping service. Around 5:30 p.m. we were resting and housekeeping not only came into the room, but then banged in on the INSIDE door which scared us to death. We told them yet again, we did not need housekeeping. Checking out the next day we noticed that we were double charged for valet, they had put another person's valet # on our room. The bathroom needs updating, but the bedroom and den were clean. The stay was absolutely fantastic... loved the indoor and outdoor pool area and entertainment area. We invited our family and had an evening of cocktails and snacks then listened to a bit of music all on the balcony area. Awesome place. The only problem we had was Hotels.com booked the wrong room. We ordered smoking and they booked a non-smoking. the […] Hotel was very accomodating and allowed us to smoke because they were out of smoking rooms. I would say most definately stay here. Our rooms had been sprayed with either an insecticide or a very bad air freshener which was overwhelming. The rooms were not clean and if they had been renovated, it must have been in the 80's. The breakfast was under par and very poorly organized. Never again.

I was in Atlanta for a business meeting and left my laptop in my room when I checked out. After spending the day in meetings and driving several hours home, I realized my error. I called the front desk almost 15 hours after my checkout - the night manager immediately located my laptop in the hotel's safe and made arrangements to ship it to me the next […] morning. The room was spacious and the downstairs sitting area was cool with the flowing water and fish. As always the breakfast was great. The hotel is so close to the shopping malls and the shuttle made it easy for my wife to travel to it safely.

One of the primary reasons, I believe, that many people patronize Embassy Suites hotels is the complimentary happy hour. Free drinks are free drinks. But, that being said, the enclosed atrium provides a nice atmosphere, the rooms were clean, and I wouldn't mind staying here again. This particular location featured a Ruth's Chris franchise on the premises […] (basically a walled-off section of the atrium floor) and optional valet parking. Parking is provided underneath the hotel, and the twists and turns down there can be challenging for mid-size sedans, much less large vehicles. We didn't interact with the staff very much, but when we did they were efficient and polite. We took advantage of the free happy hour, and we hitched a ride with the complimentary shuttle (2 mile radius). My criticisms are few, mainly in that the condition of the facilities were a little rough around the edges (a wall fixture missing a screw and hanging cockeyed, a broken leg on the bathroom vanity), but we still found our room to be clean and the location to be very convenient. Overall, a good place to stay, especially for families. Beds were comfy & plenty of room. But not up to the standard of other ES we have stayed at. Indoor pool was very dirty and located right next to eating area and the lobby. Lobby has a beautiful clean koi pond. The Embassy Suites Buckhead delivers everything you would expect from an Embassy Suites. The room was fantastic, as always every room is two rooms so it's great for kids. Our five year old loves getting her own room when we stay at a hotel, even if it's on a sofa bed. This location has an indoor and outdoor pool and the pool area was very clean. Traffic […] in Buckhead is horrendous so be prepared. If you don't drive in the Embassy Suites provides a complimentary shuttle that can get you anywhere within a short radius, which is generally everything in Buckhead. Our only major complaint was that several guests had boat loads of family members joining them for the free breakfast that made the wait time horrible. They also ran out of food. We are sure that it was non-guests we practically heard them bragging about it. Read more

I loved evrything about this hotel, the location, the comfort, the pool, the jacuzzi and of course the free shuttle! My daughter and I stayed here for a weekend, we had a blast slept like babies and enjoyed our stay. I never got to enjoy the Ruths Chris onsite but I will whenever i return!

The Embassy never disappoints....hotel staff was very friendly and helpful, room was clean and updated. Love the complimentary breakfast! Hotel is close to shopping malls and downtown main attractions. Loved the location in Buckhead. We were also given a list of restaurants close to hotel and indicated which were in walking distance-nice feature :) […] My husband and I love Embassy Suites and stay whenever we can when traveling. You do have to pay to park, self or valet, but alot of big cities and some smaller cities do this so it is something we are used to. Would recommend this hotel to anyone. Read more

Overall, my experience was excellent. The breakfast foods were average and not what I expected, but it did not sway me from considering this hotel in the future. The valet service was excellent along with my other experiences at this hotel. Overall, very satisfied with my visit.

The first problem that we noticed right off the bat was the entrance. The front door of the hotel was extremely close to the main road, which lead to cars backing up trying get into the hotel. Check-in was quick and smooth!! The second thing was the smell inside the room, it smelled like the room had flooded and the carpet had dryed. It was a nasty […] musty smell!!! The next morning the breakfast was horrible, long lines for everything, including a table to sit down and eat. The bacon was overcooked and the sausage tasted old. I have stayed at many Embassy Suites and their breakfast is normally very good!! After eating that horrible breakfast, we have our car brought around by the valet attendant, btw there was a line for that too, we notice our low tire pressure light was on. The temperature had dropped down to about 15 degrees the night before so we thought it was the cause of the light being on. We go to the gas station to get air and thats when we see that the rim was damaged, you could tell that they had hit the curb, it was about 12 inched around the rim that was damaged. We immediately called the hotel and spoke with the manager and he told us to call back on Monday. So needless to say I won't be staying there again!!! Read more

ES is always a fantastic choice. The Buckhead location is 2 blocks from Marta- 5 mnutes. There is a Carribou Coffee next door - tons of restaurants across the street - the mall is 4 blocks. Enough said.Room was clean and what we've come to expect from ES. Parking cost $24 and WiFi is not free. Given the rate we got on the weekend, it was about the same […] as paying and having free parking and WiFi at another. ADVICE TO ES? GET CURRENT AND GET FREE WiFI. What the ? Why ruin an otherwise perfect experience and charge for WiFi. Kind of foolish when everything else is so on-point. Still I give them a top-rating. Staying next door at the Intercontinental would have been double the price I paid and not double the amenities. Great weekend! Read more

While it was not a 5-star hotel, it provided all the amenities for making it a thoroughly satisfying stay at a terrific price. I actually booked the wrong night (was off by a day), and they transferred my funds without penalty. Very hospitable!
