Be warned, these walls are paper thin. This means when your neighbor sneezes, coughs, watches tv or talks on the phone, you will hear it. And I am sure vice versa. And when the rowdy people from the lounge decide to converse outside your door at 4 am, you will hear every word. There was very little water pressure for showers. No breakfast included, but parking is complimentary. On a positive note, the staff is nice, beds are comfortable. Considering what it costs to stay at hotels in the Boston area, this is a fairly good price, but worth all of our frustrations? The jury is still out.

Friendly staff but minor problems throughout the hotel. The walls were very thin, and the shower in our first room was so bad we had to change rooms. The shower in the second room wasn't that great either. My wife even complained through Hilton Corporate but we were only offered an apology and nothing else. I can say the staff at this location were excellent. They were all very nice and accommodating.

The room was clean, but the window was broken and was letting cold air in. The heat thermostat could not be changed. On line was posted that a microwave was available, and was not.

I stayed here on 11/14/14 for one night. I had a bad day at work and as i arrived the young man was very pleasant and greeted me with a smile, thats exactly what i needed. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Quick check in, Great food. Nice clean hotel. Comfy bed and nice views. If im ever in the area again, i will definitely come back.

This place is out right dirty, the overhead light in the bar is full of bugs, and dust. The carpet is wore, and old. The showers had backed up filled with mold, and dead leaves. Water is yellow, shower had no pressure.

It was comfortable for our family reunion. We had breakfast in the restaurant and lunch was ordered and served near the bar. The major shortcoming was the limited parking. There were more than enough parking spots for the hotel guests. But, the large conventions that were in progress strained the parking lots causing us to ride around for ten minutes within three or four lots before we found a spot..

Overall, the hotel was nice. I especially found the pillows to be amazing. I only have a couple of minor complaints. The first has to do with cleanliness of the bathroom. When I first checked into the hotel and went into the bathroom in my room, I noticed hair in the sink, as well as on the counter, toilet, and tub. It looked like housekeeping had cleaned up after the person before me, but only with a quick wipedown that left the person's hair still hanging out in those areas I mentioned above. It's minor, and certainly not a dealbreaker, but it was a little gross IMO. Additionally, parking was scarce due to some type of construction or renovation on the parking garage adjacent to the hotel. So, I had to park further away in another garage, which wasn't a huge deal, except that this was a really desolate area, and having to walk through a dimly lit garage at night without a soul in sight to get back to the hotel was a bit unnerving. But this is most likely just a temporary issue while the construction is completed. So, again, overall, the hotel was nice, with only a couple minor issues that could be solved very easily.

This is a great hotel!! The amenities include free starbucks coffee, a indoor pool and a workout room. Since there are so many events there it was sometimes hard to find parking!

Upon arrival, we couldnt figure out where to park and had to go back into the lobby 2 times to ask as the entire parking area was under construction and parking was extremely confusing. Had to entry building in a very dark poorly lit space at the complete opposite end of the building without the use of an elevator had to carry our full luggage up stairs. We were to have both refrigerator and microwave in room and were told after entering the room the microwave would add $15/nt to the cost. Other than Lawrence, the staff was generally pleasant. Lawrence seemed put off if he had to answer a question. We had one meal at the Hotel lounge ordering off the menu handed to us and upon receiving the bill, both items we ordered were billed at a higher rate than that on the menu. When brought to their attention, they attempted to explain how they gave me an outdated menu and proceeded to ask me if I would like the total changed. Seriously?? Service is the basis for any business success or failure, and they need to regroup on the general approach to customer service. There were many of the staff who were actually quite nice, but the few bad left a bad impression for all.

It was ok, nothing spectacular! They put us in a room underneath the lobby in the corner. When I went to take a shower, it was a handicap hand held low shower in the middle of the wall...we are tall people, so it was a little awkward!!! Strange location and parking! Most likely I will not use this hotel again for future visits, they are plenty other hotels in the area

This is the second time we stayed here. This time the room next to us had the tv turned on. You would have thought that the TV in my room was on. This continued and my husband went to the reception desk at 11:30 pm. They called the room. The person at the reception desk also said that they were completely booked and there were no other rooms and that they are aware of the problem of thin walls.The person did lower the volume, but we were still able to hear what was going on as well as his snoring. At 3 am, the people on the other side of us came in. Again, we were able to hear their entire conversation. Needless to say, there will not be a strike three.

The staff was very accommodating and friendly! Our first night there, a very loud wedding party was disruptive the whole night. The next morning the manager was very apologetic and gave us free breakfast. I would definitely stay again!

We stayed here one night after a Patriots game. Getting off and on I95 could not have been easier. The staff was friendly. The room was clean and the hotel was quiet.

The first room I was given wasn't good because I could clearly hear what the people in the next room were saying!! So I called the front desk and a man came down and l asked him in to listen and he was surprised that he could hear them so easily. The second room they gave me was a handicap room which had a hand held shower but I didn't realize it until I tried to take a shower in the morning. I called to tell the front desk that I paid for a regular room and not a handicap room and my husband coming in that night wouldn't be happy with that hand held shower either. so they finally switched me again and I had to push all my things on the bell cart myself!! They should have OFFERED to push it for me each time.

It was our first stay at a Hilton. Of course, Hilton's are really hyped up to be the BEST of the BEST. The hotel was nice, but it wasn't what we expected for the money spent to stay there 2 nights. The breakfast buffet-it was just horrible, cold food & I had eyelashes in my eggs. Not worth the $40 for 2 people at all. The STAFF made up for it, they were absolutely fantastic!! Great customer service, superior to any hotel I've stayed in before. The hotel is under remodeling-which would attribute to not being *the best* right now I'm sure. Our room was cute-but outdated. Small bathroom & I was TRULY sad that it stated Crabtree & Evelyn toiletries but that is NOT what was there either day & we got the better room FOR that reason, so a bit unhappy there. Overall, a decent stay-but we'll likely just hit up the Ramada for $99/night next time as we didn't see much of a difference.

we stayed from thursday to sunday. if you do not take the "t" train to boston during rush hour, expect a long wait. on weekends the train runs only every one to two hours. the room we were in 222 had a cracked sink, the toilet ran the entire time we were there and the a/c was hard to regulate. the front desk personnel were not friendly or helpful at all.

We were greeted by a very pleasant and helpful desk staff when we arrived. When we arrived in our room we found the window was open slightly and we could not close nor lock it. We mentioned it to the desk staff as we left for dinner. It was closed and locked when we returned. Oops, no caffine-free coffee. Mentioned it at the desk and had our kind of coffee the rest of the stay. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. Towels thick and soft. To sum it up - it was an excellent stay. The train station was only a short walk away. However, we found we could drive a short distance to another hotel location and be picked up by the Red Line trolley which would take us to downtown Boston. We used their service to see Boston, which was the only catch in having this available for free for two days. If you want to really see Boston, get the Go Boston card - so many things are free with the card. Great trip - Great hotel.

We left our VISA card instead of the room key; both looked remarkably the similar. We called as soon as we realized the error. The staff immediately began to search for it, called us back in a timely manner, and when we returned, there was the missing card at the front desk! We appreciate the fine service we received at the Dedham Hilton!

This hotel was a comedy of errors. First, I picked it because it's near the train station. When you walk up from the train station there is a huge sign for the hotel. When you go to that building that is not the hotel yet there are no signs directing you to the hotel. After walking around the building and then turning around I finally saw the actual hotel. Don't get it. I reserved a King. No king's available. No apology. No upgrade. Just too bad. The walls are paper thin. Even with noise canceling headphones I couldn't drowned out the snoring person in the room next to mine. I at first thought they were actually in my room. It was that loud. Went to eat. Ordered salmon. Out of salmon. The alternative was decent. Went to shower in the morning. Dirt in the shower which I later discovered was from water that would just randomly start pouring out of the faucet. Redeeming qualities? They did move me for the second night although not to a king. The shuttle driver was very nice and that was convenient. Their gym is fantastic.

The hotel staff was excellent and very friendly. They assisted us with the commuter train schedule and directions to the train stop (literally right down the street). When we checked in the A/C was not working. However, maintenance had it fixed before we returned. The cleaning staff did an adequate job, but it seems the rooms only get dusted when someone has stayed the night in it. There was a light layer of dust on the furniture when we checked in, but the room was dusted the rest of our visit. Overall the hotel served its purpose, in that is was a place to sleep when we were not in the city. My opening statement about the staff just does not cover how pleasant and accommodating they truly were.

The hotel was clean which is the number one thing I look for and very important to me. The hotel served the purpose for my one night stay. I probably would never want to stay here for more than 1-2 nights. The bathroom fan didn't work and the air conditioner for the room was pretty noisy. There was a sign in hotel lobby that said the hotel would undergo an update during the fall of 2014.

If I knew they were in the midst of renovations I would have stayed else where. The pool was filthy because apparently the filter was not working and the hot tub was closed. These are the things my young child looks for when we have to stay overnight.

Was on top with the best! Perfect location !! Literally 20 mins from everyplace! And we traveled the highway allot !! I drove 90 miles to get there arrived with a half tank!! Still had a quarter tank after the entire weekend !! I drive a huge truck so being able to do all my driving on the highway was great! There is a bar In the lobby and when I needed ice a random employee in the hallway got it for me!! They also let us sleep In which was the best cause we partied alllll weekend!! Sucky part was hot tub was down which is what me and my hubby love most about hotels.. Also no close restaurants or convenience stores !! But overall 4 out of 5 stars

Overall, the Hilton Boston/Dedham was a nice hotel, but we had to change rooms initially, because the first room smelled, and the 2nd room (also on the 1st floor) had a dirty bathroom (and we were rushing so we didn't have time to ask for another room). The lobby and bar / restaurant were clean and pleasant, and the staff were all friendly. Cleanliness was the main concern.

We arrived at 2 am and our reservation was for a 1 king bed plus a sofa bed for 2 adults and 3 kids and they gave us a 1 bed room. That's what they had available. At the end after discussing they gave us 2 rooms one of them with the bathroom not working and we had to split up.

This hotel is run down around the edges (although the sign in the lobby says that they are redecorating). Bathroom has mildew odor in bath/shower area. The maid arrived early one morning and was told to come back later -- she did not and we returned to find room unmade. Internet service was unreliable and spotty. On the plus side -- desk staff was friendly and helpful and Starbuck's was free if you are a Hilton Honors member. I would not stay there again until the renovation is completed.
