Hotel is beautiful from the outside and the lobby area but my room on the other hand had a musty smell, shower handle was broken, and there was a big stain on the carpet. "Good for the price"
The walls are thin and you can hear your neighbors talk, showering and blow drying their hair. The train near the hotel doesn't have regular routes to the city so we ended up renting a car. Had no hot water in the shower the first day; but after letting the front desk know, it was fixed. The workout facilities are wonderful. The staff at Hilton Boston/Dedham went "beyond the call of duty" to make our stay as pleasurable as possible. They were so helpful and awesome. I am a Hilton Honors member and was given a ground floor room which had a moldy/musty smell. There was at least one big wedding that night and folks were obviously smoking in the ground floor area/rooms. Too many problems. Noise in the hallways after 11 p.m. Security was ineffective. Dirty elevators, areas in the hallway. Took three days to fix a drape that was off the hook and we were unable to operate to obtain privacy. The first room we had was not very clean under the couch bed once we pulled it out. The AC was not working so the hotel had put a temporary (in the room AC) unit that was not working well either. The public areas, service and food were all good. Our room suffered from lack of maintenance. The tub had poor drainage and the vent fan didn't draw well. Because of the drop lighting design in the bathroom the vent fan was covered from sight and cleaning. I heard that the freeway constructions were on going for about 3 years. Could not find any convenient store (10pm) after going in and out of freeway for more than 20 minutes. Too many closed exits, loops. Never experienced anything like that. After I came back to the Hotel empty handed, went to the front desk to ask.
