We stayed here for an event in Macon. The location was perfect. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. As an added bonus, no pet deposit. The hotel is located off I75. It should be easy to get to when they finish road construction at the freeway and intersection. There are many hotels and franchise eateries in the same area, good for those just passing through Macon. We found the hotel suitable and comfortable, all at a reasonable price. The area and hotel seems safe, mostly older people with dogs. Get a room away from dogs and from the breakfast area; loud in am if late riser. It is the usual exit ramp hotel. It is more comfortable and quieter than some of the other hotels at the same exit.

Upon getting to this hotel, I saw construction- The hotel was clean and front desk clerk polite. Upon checking in, I was happy-with my clean room- until the hammering and construction started! Then I went out, and got dinner, and decided to rest - until 10 pm, when a loud knock started at my door- the door hole showed a strange man, who I had never […] seen before. A Large man. He said, "Lady I need to get into your room! I have a problem- the people under you on first door are saying they are flooding!". I said, "NO!- I don't know you!" (never got a call from front desk!). After rep refusing, the man stood for 5 min outise my door- I was scared all night! Later, I called the front desk, and he did answer, and said he needed to get into my room- as a solo travler, and woman, I refused. I told him the bathroom was not leaking, and he could move the people on first floor. I sat up all night n tried to sleep for a few hours.. NEVER again! Read more

The hotel was being remodeled but you wouldn't know it. The lobby was clean and inviting. The room was clean and very comfortable. The hotel staff was friendly and happy to help. The continental breakfast was also good.

I was truly amazed by the quality of this hotel/room. The hotel was within 10 minutes of the meeting place of my conference, and next to Outbacks & a gas station. The only possible downside would be there's not a continental breakfast served.

This La Quinta was being carefully renovated but what was there was very nice. The room was large and well appointed. The pool is in an interior courtyard/garden and was just lovely. Too bad it was only one night.

This hotel was excellent for families and business travelers. It was within walking distance to Carrabba's which was a nice treat. The room was really clean and spacious. I did not have any issues with noise level, however, walking down the hallways I could hear some families through their doors. It appears to be very pet friendly (I saw at least 5 […] dogs). My only minor complaint was the front desk staff. I had to go up to the front 3 times during the stay and each time I had a lengthy wait before I was helped. The employees hang out in the back and it's frustrating to have to make noise etc to get their attention. All in all, the stay was excellent though and I would definitely come again. Read more

The room was fine -- bed & pillows were comfortable, the desk is fine. Had a recliner. Tv was good and channel selection was good. The people at the desk were nice as well. I needed a late check out and the hotel didn't know how to override the system but a quick call to the 800 number worked -- I had two extra hours to get back to the room. I was expecting the word "suite" to mean I would have a fridge in the room, which I did not. That was my only complaint though. The hotel was confortable, with simple amenities and average breakfast. I will La Quinta on the possible hotel list from now on.

The volume of next door occupants was unacceptable and entirely too boisterous. Rules need to be followed for volume control during the hours of 11pm to 7am. I will not be staying at the La Quinta in Macon, Georgia anytime in the future.

Our family enjoyed staying at this La Quinta. Getting into the hotel because of the extensive road work going on was challenging but the hotel was a good experience.

The hotel staff was very friendly and the room was immaculate. Entrances were located close to our room and we were able to park right outside our room. Nice breakfast, but not enough seating for the weekend crowd.

Our overall stay was excellent. Clean all around, friendly staff, spacious room. The only "complaint" I have is that the hallways were very stuffy (3rd floor) and smelled of cigarette smoke. As far as I could see all the rooms were marked as non-smoking, so I'm not sure why the halls smelled like that. But over all the hotel was excellent.

I booked the hotel online and when I arrived it was very convenient, they had my key ready and no hassles. The hotel is very nice and clean. The beds were comfortable and the room was very clean and modern. It was also very quiet.

When the hall carpets are soiled and there is a larage spilled spot in front of the counter, it is hard to feel that you are in a clean hotel. The upholstered chair was so dirty I would not sit in it.

This is a really nice hotel. We stayed here on our way to Orlando and it worked out very well. The breakfast was not hot but they did have poached eggs and yogurt. There are a number of restaurants close by.

I HAD NO PROBLEMS OOPS JUST ONE CONCERN WITH THE ROOM AND THAT WAS THE TUB HOLDS WATER WHEN SHOWERING. DIDN'T LIKE THAT AT ALL. OTHER THAN THAT THE ROOM, LOCATION, CLEANLINESS AND QUALITY OF THE HOTEL WAS GREAT.

The rooms were large and well supplied. Clean and great breakfast area. Have stayed here twice and will book it every time we pass through that way. Love that they are dog friendly. Even when we don't travel with our dog I will stay here. Very pleased with everything.
