We stayed at Aloft Asheville recently, to attend a local event. We were favorably impressed with the hotel and staff. We were initially directed to a double room, instead of the king we had reserved, but the problem was corrected quickly and without any undue problems. We very much enjoyed the hotel lounge, although I must admit, even though we have traveled to 46 states, including Alaska and Hawaii, as well as a few foreigh countries, I have never paid $ 16 for a Margarita! I would recommend this hotel...very clean and modern!

Needed a place for one night and this fit the bill. Very close to the interstate and downtown. Hotel is well kept and staff was very pleasant. And the price was right too. Would definitely stay here again.

Don't know how old this property is, but it LOOKS brand new. Very nice comfy rooms, great little pool, nice breakfast, friendly and accommodating staff. It's the best in its class of 2.5 to 3 star economy hotels. You can't go wrong by staying here.

Clock/radio was not checked by room staff and went off at 2:00am full volume (evidently set by previous guests). Blueberry waffles did not cook throughly in waffle maker making breakfast unpleasant. Only one garbage can for breakfast made can overflow with garbage quickly.

The Comfort Inn is so convenient for us when we visit with our daughter in college. The accommadations were great as was the food and service from the employees. We will be staying at this hotel again during the next basketball season.

Upon checking in there were no staff at the front desk. I waited over 30 minutes for someone to show up. The hotel smelled musty. In our room, the bed was unmade, no sheets, only blankets. The toilet overflowed when flushed. The staff said they'd bring us a plunger, I said "uh, no thanks" and used the bathroom at a Hardees nearby. The hotel looks new and well maintained from the outside but is poorly maintained on the inside. Paint is dingy and stained looking. Damage to the wall of the hotel room from the inside door handle was "fixed" by pushing toilet paper into the hole. Staff were well intentioned but seemed incapable of solving problems due to lack of training especially […] where the computer check-in system is concerned. Staff also took cigarette breaks just outside the front door meaning we had to walk through a cloud of cigarette smoke to enter the hotel. Very overpriced for the quality of accommodations.
