My husband and I loved the J House. We booked at the last minute because our plans changed and we needed a room for the night. We were so pleasantly surprised. Overall a great spot but very lively bar scene on weekend nights and so rooms are very noisy from 12 to 2a.m. and guest return to their rooms and noise is heard from the halls.

A short drive from NYC, this hotel impressed us as soon as we walked in. The service to check in was quick and simple. The room was very clean, and teched out! The L'occitane ammenities were a nice touch and the toilet is very fancy! We dined at eleven14 for dinner..oysters were delicious, and burgers were alright. You can also visit chocolate lab for […] dessert but beware they close early - 9pm! On sunday we had wanted to brunch at eleven14 but only prefixed menu was offered at an insane price so we were a little bummed about that. This is our second stay at this great and unique hotel. All of the high tech amenities are such a treat. Love the IPads docked at the bedside for guests to use gratis. The hotel restaurant is first class in every way: great food, ambiance & service. We will definately return to this hotel!

Got a pretty good rate on a very nice spot. The rooms are very nicely appointed with tons of high tech treats. The ambiance is nice, restaurant was very pricey, but delicious. The gym is modest in size but with a couple of treadmills, an elliptical and bike. This was my second stay ... and I would stay again

Everything was lovely. Clean, convenient, comfortable, modern. I would have liked to see 24 hrs. room service, even if a reduced menu, especially in a hotel that lends itself to late night. Other than that, everything was superb!

Nice "experience" if you want that, but I wouldn't want to be in this hotel if it was busy... walls are thin and hall/hotel noise is high. "Hi Tek" decor was OK except for the toilet, which was absurd...
