"Needs more staff"

I had to wait 25 minutes to check in at 9:30 @ night. If I did not have a reservation, I would have certainly found another hotel. A sign was displayed at the front desk "Be Right Back". The rest of the stay was fine but it is hard to get past the initial part of the experience. Clearly, there was not adequate staffing that evening.

We could not access internet in the room and the breakfast which was not included, was very expensive. There were other items of concern, but after staying in other hotels (and paying a lot less), I can not think of all the reasons we will not stay here again.

I stayed at the Courtyard because I was driving from Syracuse, NY for a business meeting in North Andover. I woke up for the meeting and realized I didn't pack my dress shoes, it was 6:00am and I was stuck. I ran down to the front desk to see if the manager knew of any shoe stores in the area that were open at 6:00am. The manager first offered to let me borrow his shoes for my very important meeting, but he wasn't the same size. He spent the next 15 minutes calling every store in the area to help me out. He was able to find a store close by, and I made my meeting!!!!! The rooms were very nice, and the staff was very courteous and helpful. I would recommend the Courtyard Marriott to anyone in the area. They will take great care of you!!!!!!

The friendliest of people made up for the mediocre condition of this hotel. Hotels.com is likely to lose bookings as a free breakfast coupon is no longer provided and it's cheaper to book on the Marriott web site. Also, the hotel is no longer stocking conditioner, lotion and other supplies in the room - only soap and shampoo. You can ask at the Front Desk, but that's pretty inconvenient. Great folks working there, though - very impressed with them!

My reservations were for 5 people and when we arrived they would not make the arrangements for an extra sleeping cot in the room.

"New facility"

We stayed at this hotel after we attended a friend's wedding. The hotel facility on the inside was very impressive - the lobby was comfortable and offered space to relax and read. The rooms had new carpet and were kept up very nicely. My husband and I were adequately comfortable and impressed with the quality that we received for the price we paid. Also, the hotel is right off of 93 - the major highway that goes right into Boston.

"needs serious improvement"

This place was not what I expected at all. The service was hit or miss. If you got the right clerk it was really great, but there was one that really didn't need to be working there. They didn't remove all their menus and didn't let anyone know they had closed their restaraunt. They supposedly had stuff complimentary but yet charged for it. The room wasn't as large as expected. The second day they didn't put any bathroom stuff. And although I had requested 2 more mugs then they had when they cleaned they didn't leave the extra ones, and forced me to call back down again. Overall I would say they need some serious help. However on a good note when notified about the problem they did offer to send a 2 free night voucher.
