      Great place to stay. Our room was small, however it was clean and nice. The service was excellent. We arrived late for the evening wine and cheese, yet the staff made a cheese plate and wine just for us! I would definitely recommend this place. The gardens are lovely and peaceful. It's a short walk downtown and convenient to everything downtown.

    The hotel staff really made this hotel great. The front desk person was very friendly and helpful. We had a minor issue with our air condition and were instantaneously moved to a different room. Hotel was clean and we felt safe although the further south you drove the neighborhood got a little sketchier.

    The hotel room was renovated within the last 5 years but still needed some up keep. Breakfast was your basic hot bar breakfast buffet with very little flavor and we regretted eating it. Also, I was disappointed to learn that the hot tub was filled in because Quality Inn didn't want to fix it.

    This place is definitely a huge step-up from the Days-Inn down the street. If you're comparing the two, it's worth the extra distance to stay in these much nicer rooms than those down the street.

    There are many hotels & motels south of UF on 13th Street. Most are older, none are luxurious, and a few are pretty lousy. This Quality Inn might be the best of the bunch. It's clean, the rooms are simple but big enough with relatively new furniture and appliances, and the free breakfast has a good mix of hot food and bagels and such. The only complaints […] were that the bathrooms are tiny and the room smelled strongly of cleaner when we first arrived and had to be aired out. (Better than smelling strongly of mold, which was the case at another motel down the road not long ago.) Overall, the Quality Inn is a good value choice if you're in Gainesville for a few days.     I had reservations about staying at a place like Quality Inn over a Hilton or Marriottt, but was very pleased with this hotel. The rooms were clean and the location was convenient to UF. The only thing I'd change is that you entered the rooms from outside - it was more of a motel than a hotel. All in all though, it was an affordable value.

    The list of hotel amenities in the room included a fitness room - which did not exist. We brought our cat, and the reservation included this info. Staff knew about this at check in and were very accommodating. The hotel is on the aged side. Breakfast had a larger buffet than many other hotels.

    My room was clean and everything worked. Wireless Internet access worked fine in my room. Breakfast was OK but boring . Negatives were the hotel is aging and it isn't close to the interstate.

    We arrived at the hotel around 2:30pm on Thanksgiving Day. This was a two night stay since my fiancé and I were spending Thanksgiving with my family. After check in we proceeded to our room to find the beds not made. We went back down to the check in desk and was told the room will be ready in 40 minutes. We decided at that point to leave and head to […] my mother's house. The second day of our stay we left the room early and spent the entire day at my family. We arrived to the room after midnight to find the beds unmade and the key card not working. To make a long story short this was a nightmare experience. The only plus is that breakfast was free and there were a good variety of food to choose from. This is a true 2 star hotel and for the price it was not worth the trouble. Read more

    A good value for the price. The beds were comfortable. For breakfast, the "make your own waffles" in 2 minutes were really tasty and a hit with the kids. We would return again.

    Very nice hotel! In a great location near the campus, front desk agent was very nice and gave me great service because i had a lot of questions about Gainesville and where to party! Room was suprisely big for the price!

    The rooms look like they have newly been renovated but there is some work left to be done. The staff was super friendly, I will return back to this hotel.
