We enjoyed our overnight stay. We were there to attend a wedding on the boat so it was very nice to just walk the stairs to go and come. The room is smallish but comfortable. A small TV (26") is stowed away in a hutch, kind of cute. No closet, just the hutch. The bed is level, though the floor is slightly tilted. The bathroom is small but clean. The shower is also small. It has a rustic feel to it. It seemed that when the wedding reception dancing started, the boat was rocking a bit, but stopped when it ended. It was VERY quiet at night once all the activity stopped in Old Town Sacramento.

The Hotel was amazing. Except for one thing. The Concierge sent us on a wild Goose chase looking for a restaurant. Her directions were completely backwards and landed my daughters and I in a sketchy area. The second night was a high school Prom. We were unable to use certain areas of the Hotel, and these loud and rude kids were up until 3am screaming […] and using profanity up and down the halls and outside on the streets. It seemed it took an hour for someone to take care of the situation. 4 Star hotels should not be a rental for high school Proms where guests are trying to sleep. That's what Country Clubs are for. Other than that, the pool is amazing and the location is great walking distance to many great restaurants (use your Smartphone for mapping and directions) though. Read more

The Hotel was great and the room very comfortable. Hotel is convenient to many Sacramento attractions; right across from State Capitol Bldg. There was a High School student conference going on with many groups staying in the hotel and they were noisy enough for a couple of hours in the middle of the night 2am to 4am that we had to call the front desk […] to complain. The beds weren't that comfortable and there is no vanity. So sometimes if you have a vanity, people can get ready while someone is using the shower. THEY DIDN'T EVEN HAVE COMPLIMENTARY BREAKFAST AND I WAS TOLD I WOULD GET BREAKFAST IN BED! I ordered an oatmeal and my co-worker ordered an egg with sausage and water to drink and it was over $40! WHAT?! […] I mean, if i'm paying $275 a night, at least give me complimentary breakfast, like they do at the Inns! I've never been to such a cheap hotel. Read more

The front desk staff were very helpful when I was having trouble with my room keys not being read in the elevator. Also, I got upgraded to a corner room with a balcony, which was nice. My wife and I stay at the Hyatt everytime we travel to Sacramento for our date night or other personal trip. Great location downtown, near everything you could need, clubs and restaurants within walking distance. If not, there are taxis right outside always at night. No complaints at all, service is great and the hotel is very clean.

We came to Sacramento to celebrate a birthday surprise. The Hyatt was not only conveniently located but the service was superb, friendly staff, & the rooms were very comfortable & clean. The bed & pillows were very comfortable.....loved it! Although the bathroom was modest the shower head was amazing!! Will be back!!

We have stayed here as a couple before and find the experience to be much better alone rather than with our kids. The hotel is suited for adults and should be enjoyed by adults - I would not recommend bringing kids here.

* I enrolled on busseniss plan - and didn't get anything of it service was delayed - i asked for bottle of water more than 2 times ( 1 hour waiting after each ) They told us that they gonna clean the room and prepare it by 7 pm so i went to take dinner on this time and when i get back - no thing were happened

This is a great hotel - within walking distance to restaurants, bars and Old Town Sacramento - I couldn't have picked a better location. All of the staff was friendly and the downstairs bar is not to be missed! Great drinks, great bartenders, loved the ambiance! Highly recommended. Hotel was clean/ service was the best/ location was perfect.
