Decor takes you back to the seventies, but it was clean and the staff was very helpful. Easy access to the convention center without going outside in case of rain. Walking distance to downtown stuff but difficult to get to other areas if you don't have your own transportation. Didn't check out the pool or exercise facilities

Room was nice & comfortable, service good, but the WORST redecorating we ever saw!!! No life to it, it was institutional. No picture, fabics, texture, plants, nothing living! It was high tech space age, cold and not New Mexican at all. We were very dissapointed as was all the people we were with that saw it. I would never book a wedding or anniversary party there! You would have to bring your own theme and decorations. It is an empty canvas. Couldn't believe our eyes, we were anxious to see the remodel. Sorry to say, but a great waste of money. We were left sad and shocked.

The only real problem was the lack of parking and the way the hotel personel handled it. I was told to park in a bank parking lot and that I would have to move the car before seven a.m., I was on vacation and wanted the option of sleeping a little later. I was not forewarned of the problem and I was being charged for parking.

Hotel great for those going for conventions. Felt rooms a little small for being a dbl. A car is a must for those who want to do more. Majority of restaurants, shopping and casinos 15-20 min. drive.

All personnel very friendly and efficient - except that no maids showed up on Friday - Shuttle van to airport scheduled for 5 showed up at 5:15 PM. Had allowed extra time, fortunately. Artificial flowers on room service tray were silly - would prefer the real thing or no flowers at all!

One thing about this is that we did not know that the hotel was being remodeled. Also there was a wedding and there were people over the hallway screaming and running around until past 3 am. Security was called twice and they would still keep going. Will never go back to this hotel.

The hotel was great, the kids loved the cookies they give out. The elevators are in desperate need of renovation, but the rooms were very clean and hotel is centrally located to zoo and aquarium. The room was a bit too small for a family of 5 I would recommend a suite or get 2 separate rooms. Pool is great but no hot tub. Overall I would stay again but get a larger room.

The Doubletree Hotel in Albuquerque is a delightful surprise. Centrally located in the business and convention hub, it contained exceptionally well appointed room, comfortable beds, and all the amenities one needs for productive business travel. The restaurant served up delightful meals, with sound nutrition in mind and they were both really tasty and modestly priced. My overnight stay was so relaxing that I wish I had and open day in my schedule to stay another day.
