This hotel has a great location. Very close to Dupont Circle and the Metro. The rooms are small, but nice, and the bed was comfortable. We didn't spend much time in the room because of sightseeing, so the size really was not a concern. Note that parking a car will cost you $25 per night. Pretty standard for a hotel in that area.

Good location, nice area, and very walkable. Parking is expensive and not included. I believe it is $28.00 a day, but if you are lucky you can park in the neighborhood, especially on the weekends.

Our stay at this hotel was pretty good with the exception of a few things upon arrival. Our sheets had hair all over them, but the hotel staff responded immediately without question to have them changed and were apologetic. They had given us a key that didnt work, so my husband went back downstairs to replace it- but they wouldnt give it to him without talking to me first since his name wasnt on the reservation- even though his ID shows we have the same last name and home address. They claimed "we could have been in a fight or something". The hotel is in a good location in Dupont circle with many shops and restaurants nearby and a close walk to the metro to go to other areas of DC. So overall, even with a few hiccups, it was not a bad experience.

My wife and I chose the Courtyard because of its proximity to downtown D.C. and Adams Morgan. It was also close to Georgetown and the Zoo. The staff were friendly. Parking was difficult to find, but we were able to get a spot for the night avoiding the valet parking charge. There were a lot of restaurants and a convenience store within walking distance of the hotel. The room was somewhat small and seemed suited more for a business traveler. We would certainly stay there again.

Great location with lots of shops and other conveniences nearby. Surrounded by nice neighborhood. Room was clean and service was good. Each time we requested service at the front desk, the response was almost immediate, including a rollaway bed and extra towels. Attendants at the front desk, bellhops, and parking attendants were all very courteous. My only criticism is the online ad should mention that parking is valet. On-street parking is impractical so you pretty much have to go with it. All in all, we had a great experience and would stay there again. Other comparable hotels in the area were much higher in price, so it was a good deal for the money.

We stayed this past weekend and were very happy....The hotel was in a great location and our room was the perfect size...I asked for a King and when we got there they tried to put us in a room with 2 doubles but I said no and they did not argue and gave us a nice room with a view down connecticut Ave....Super close to DuPont and other hot spots..Room was very nice...Not overly fancy but perfect for us. It is a little confusing how to drive into the hotel to the point I ended up parking on the street, which was free on the weekends, and did not pay for the garage, which save $28 per car. The walls though are thin and we did here people at the ice machine from time to time but it was not all that bad. All and All a good place and we would stay again.

We ended up staying an extra night and the Courtyard was sold out so moved across the street to another popular hotel chain and for the extra $30 a night it was a huge upgrade.

The only place to sit outside is in an area adjacent to the pool. Unfortunately, although the pool area can be locked, the nice sitting area with umbrella-tables is not accessible unless a pool guard is on duty. That is management's policy. This is annoying because there's a locked gate into the pool section of the outdoor area. What all this means is that one can't sit outside, have coffee, and read the paperin the morning -- before 10:00 am when the pool opens. And... the A/C in the lobby near the coffee is minimal.

The staff at the Mariott Courtyard went above and beyond to provide outstanding service. The hotel is perfectly located with access to wonderful places to eat and shop. The room was small and did not have a refrigerator - but very clean and suitable. I was not aware of the daily parking fee so you might want to include that in your vacation budget since you really do not have a choice but to pay to park in the hotel parking lot. All in all - it was a nice place to stay and make sure you ask for a city view. It is AMAZING!

I had a pleasant and drama-free stay at the Courtyard. My only "complaint" is a minor one. There were no draperies in our room. When my friend called the desk, he was told that all of the rooms were without drapes because the order had not arrived before the opening of the hotel. Other than that, things were fine. The rooms are a little small and we were given a queen instead of a king bed. But minor infractions really. The staff was pleasant and helpful and the room was neat, clean and attractively decorated. It was money well spent.
