Pretty nice hotel. Overall clean, decent room. My only complaint is the pillows. They were terrible. Free continental breakfast on site was cool but restaurants are very close for a full breakfast.

The person on the desk when I checked in was very sharp and not at all helpful in accomodating 3 adults in a king-size room, almost hesitant to let me know that there was a sofa-bed in the room also. We got there and the pool had no water in it and was closed. I specifically asked ahead when booking my trip with hotel.com if there was a pool. The hotel was very run down. We had a non smoking room but it still smelled like smoke. The sink had a crack and scratches in it. The front desk wasn't friendly. I was beating on the door and yelling but no one heard us since it was not a busy hotel. I stood on the toilet and yelled through the vent as well. After a series of pounding on the door and yelling through the vent. Someone finally came and had to take the entire doorknob off because it was broken. I told the hotel front desk person (the one that took my doorknob off) that I hope he didn't expect me to pay for this...his only response was Sorry. The woman at check-in seemed overwhelmed and unfriendly. The hallways look like they haven't been swept in a while; there's paint chips everywhere. The room was exceptionally clean. We could tell that either the duvet was washed or replaced during our stay as it smelled of detergent. The room was clean and the pool was lovely. Excellent! It wasn't too expensive, the rooms were nice, and it was a pleasant stay. The indoor pool was nice and warm; only problem was the water was so opaque I was afraid to swim fast laps because I could barely see the other side of the pool and was worried I'd hit my head. Came in town for the Bengals/Cowboys game. Plenty of shopping and restaurants around. Went Christmas shopping in Fairfield that night. Easy to get to and in and out of lot. Clean and comfortable room. Never got to pool so cannot say about it. Would go back again.

Upon arriving at this fleabag hotel, we were met by a woman who was watching television in the lobby area while she was supposed to be working the front desk. She seemed extremely inconvenienced that we were checking in and was very rude and unfriendly. The hotel smelled of cigarette smoke and was so dirty that we were afraid to touch anything. The […] curtains on the window in the room were being secured in the 'closed' position by none other than duct tape. The pool area actually had cigarette butts all over it and my young daughter looked at me in disgust and said, "I am not going in there". We were supposed to stay a second night but I decided the best thing to do was to eat the money we spent on the Baymont and stay at a Holiday Inn Express. The Baymont Inn Cincinnati is a poor excuse for a lodging facility, and should be taken off promptly from Expedia's list of 'bargain' hotels. My guess is that the owner of the Baymont Inn Cincinnati would never stay at this hotel nor allow their family to stay either. Read more

The stay was fine, but I had problems. It started when I arrived at 11pm to check in. I had a king size bed suite reserved. When I got there, rooms were still being cleaned and the only available were double bed rooms. I took the room as I had been on the road for over 2 hours with the intention of getting what I reserved. The next day, I went to the […] check-in area around the normal check-in time to see if I could get what I reserved. The clerk said it was too late to switch rooms despite me showing my reservation papers. I think she was trying to get rid of me as she was more focused on her computer and was not focusing on the person in front of her. What others have posted about the clerk's behavior is true. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom could use some updating. The only problem was the very slow draining sink. The heating/cooling unit worked fine but would not shut off as needed when on the "auto" setting for the fan. Location is minutes away from the outlet mall, tri-county mall, Bass Pro Shops, numerous restaurants and stores. I probably will not stay at this location due to the poor customer service. I also sent an email to the company about my stay and the service I received. Also, from what I was told, others had problems. One person had some CD'S stolen from his room and another had the cleaning person come into his room during the middle of the night. Our bed was uncomfortable, but even if it wasn't the vacuuming that was going on outside of our room at 7:00 a.m. was going to keep us from sleeping anyway. I have alwalys liked staying at that hotel. However, this time no housekeeping came into my room. The housekeeping was actually cleaning late at night. I realized they have many truckers that come and go at various times but they should clean the guest rooms who are staying 2 or more nights.

We were pleasantly suprised by the quality of this room for the price that we paid. We had a king room. It had a desk, mini fridge, coffee maker, and a couch...very nice to not have to sit on the bed during the stay. The bathroom was large and looked to be fairly updated. I would just recommend upgrading the TV...it didn't have very good quality.
