The distance from my room to the front desk is too long. The gym is poor. Complimentary breakfast is good. And, cleaning is good.

We really enjoyed our stay. We got there on a Friday night and the front desk staff was phenomenal. Room was wonderful. Only drawback to the room was very small bathroom. I left my purse in the dining area during breakfast. When I realized it that night i called front desk and lady told me she didn't see any purse and that it was this morning so wouldn't […] be there. She was very flippant. My fiance & i went to the front desk and he asked her she said "as I told her there is no purse here" another guy at the front desk said yes if it was it would be in the safe. She said the same thing. I left in tears and got back to the room and had my fiance call back to see if they could call someone from morning crew to see if they found it. She said no i can't do that but someone just informed me your purse is in the safe. MAGICALLY when I went to retrieve it she did not apologize Either they both LIED or didn't check the safe period. It upsets me they brushed me off for something as serious as losing my purse. However, those two bad apples do not spoil this trip. The Friday night crew was so wonderful and the morning crew before I left that Sunday so I will be coming back but I made sure to tell the management crew about their behavior. Read more

The studio was very comfortable and well appointed. Full cotton sheet would have been more comfortable. Also the fireplace was nice but the Duraflame type log I purchased at the desk seemed expensive and I had to figure out how to vent the fireplace.

My tv didn't work the first night but they came by and fixed it. If you plan on cooking in the room, know that there are only medium to large pots no pans. The cleaning crew was excellent. The entrance is not the best, unless you turn in to piedmont from peachtree. Can't tell you much about their food since I only ate once during my stay. My friends and I came for the WTAL Conference and this hotel was great. The location was very good close to shopping centers. We stayed in the One room studio with pull out couch! Very nice! Quiet location and breakfast was great! The staff was very friendly as well. I will deffinately stay here again!

Avoid this hotel. Problems include (i) management falsely advertises the property. We rented a "two bedroom suite" which was anything but a two bedroom suite. Our two bedroom suite was actually a big room with an open second floor loft. (ii) The parking lot is cramped, small and doesn't have enough spaces. Also, management has permenantly parked a construction […] trailer and related supplies in the parking lot, i.e., management has made parking convenient for themselves but not for guests. (iii) The staff is poorly trained, mostly doesn't speak English and isn't motivated. (iv) The physical facility is a series of disconnected and poorly laid out builidngs. Second floor rooms don't have handicapped access or any way to get to them other than exterior stairs. Also, if it rains plan on getting wet. (v) The neighborhood isn't safe. The hotel is technically in Buckhead but is not safe at night. The hotel is next to used car lots and a large car wash and on a very busy throughfare. All in all, I would definitly avoid this hotel. The management stinks, the property is old and the neighborhood is questionable. And, of course, the accomodations are not as advertised. Read more

I would recommend this hotel to all! Staff was friendly and helpful, breakfast was fabulous (hot and cold) and plentiful. Managers reception was a nice treat with wine and beer. Rooms were always clean and very spacious. Less than a mile to the interstate which made traveling to all of the must-see sights very easy. Would stay here again!

The Residence Inn in Buckhead, GA was awesome. Close, but not too close to downtown. Close to great shopping at Lennox mall. Spacious and quaint rooms. We really enjoyed our stay!

I was extreamley upset that the front desk would not do anything about the very loud music that was playing above my room. I had to call the front desk 5 times, and finally at 2:00am after threatning to call the cops the music stopped. I spoke with the front desk lady that next day. She said that she had already spoke with mang regaurding this issue […] and would be glad to give me my money back and I have heard nothing from them. I had a very BAD experience and I would not recommend Residence Inn to anyone at this point. They did not seem to be concernd about the fact that the loud music kept me up til 2:00am. Read more

The hotel is not convent to the Marta station or to any area restaurants. The htel shuttle ends at 8:00 so make sure you are back early. The evening staff was not helpful and offered no assistance at time of check in. The rooms are old and out of date and look nothing like the Marriott commercials. You know the one's with the woman doing incredible […] yoga while balancing an apple. This is a real basic business traveling hotel with no amenities or comfort. Other brands like Staybridge Suites or Aloft offer much nicer rooms and price. Read more
