My stay was for 2 nights and the price was reasonable. Based on the review ratings I expected better. Maybe I just had bad luck. The Staff that I dealt with were friendly and helpful, but the overall experience left a lot to be desired. My large suite had a decent, comfortable bed and a really nice tv. That's the good. The bad was that it was not well […] cleaned. The area around the bed had dust and debris on the floor. There is trim falling off of the wall, and the couch was so stained I dared not sit in it. Despite having a large suite, the desk was jammed in a the foot of the bed making it difficult to get around the desk chair to get back to the closet. The breakfast was hot, but the quality of food (specifically the sausage) was not very good. The ladies helping to serve the breakfast were helpful and friendly. I like to believe the food was the best that could be done with the ingredients they had to work with. My stay was inexpensive but sometimes you get what you pay for. Next time in this area I will spend a little more for another hotel. Read more

Very nice modern rooms with large couch, desk, coffee table, refrigerator and microwave. Nice breakfast with sausage, biscuits and eggs in addition to the usual items. The breakfast area wasn't big enough to accommodate all the guests on Sunday morning but it was easy to eat in the room at the coffee table. Generally, few complaints. The hotel appears to be less than 10 years old, but is looking a bit shopworn. There is no elevator, so you have to hump your bags up the stairs. The grate on the HVAC unit in my room was missing, revealing the rusty air vents inside. Plus, it had no always on feature for the fan when set to heat, so went on an off frequently […] (note to hoteliers - always on fans are a must next to highways). The Room and Hotel were great. The pool needed cleaning and the hot tub was neither hot nor a spa (no controls). The breakfast was free and there was plenty of choices to eat. The staff were very attentive.

Particularly favorable is their use of the Wall Street Journal as their complimentary house newspaper (not that "adult comic book" USA Today, god how I hate that shallow paper). Great […] (free) breakfast had the usual high-carb gut-buster sweet rolls but also offered home-made biscuits, real sausage patties and real eggs in a warming bin, plus make-your-own waffles, plus yogurt and fresh crisp apples, plus boiled eggs, plus plus. This was a real treat after the low-quality breakfasts I have endured on the road. The room was comfortable and spacious, with a small refrigerator, desk with very comfortable chair, free wireless Internet, thin-screen TV, sofa and coffee table, an alarm clock that worked, etc. Bathroom was large and had LOTS of counter space, plus many more bath and face towels, wash cloths, soaps, etc. than needed-- again, far superior to the many times I have checked into a hotel with my wife having made reservations for a party of 2, only to find one bath towel, one robe, one chair, you get the picture. Affordable and loaded with conveniences, I will use Comfort Inn/Suites again a lot. Read more

I will say that the rooms were very nice, recently renovated I would think. There was, however, no elevator which is unheard of in this day and age and we had a terrible vibration (Rms. 236 & 238) and noise in our rooms several times a day and were told that it was from the washing machine when it went out of balance. We needed a quick stay for a recent visit to Sherman and could NOT have been more pleased with the room, rate and ease it took. It will be worth the drive next time to come back to stay here even if I have a trip into DFW.

The room was clean and spacious. I was disappointed to learn that the motel did not have an elevator. I noticed that I was not the only traveller inconvenienced by having to haul luggage up and down the stairs.

Hotel and personel were great, just one negative, the roads getting to and from this destination were very confusing. If you wanted to go north, you had to go south on a very confusing frontage road and try to make a turn around to go the other way. Not the hotels fault but still very confusing. My favorite of the hotels I've stayed at in Sherman. Our room had a king size bed plus a sitting area with a couch and chairs. Bed was very comfortable. Carpet and room decor seemed new. very good hotel and close to where i always go.stayed there numerous times in the past. encountered brokern chain on toilet tank and was moved to another room,same floor. very polite coordinator,she hsd us moved in no time at all.will stay there whenever i go to sherman.

This was a very nice hotel and room for the price. We usually stay at the cheapest motels for overnight stays, and they are pretty gross. This time I spend about $10 more and was VERY pleasantly surprised!
