I picked this hotel for my business trip based on its close proximity to where I needed to go in the medical district and price. I was disappointed. Let's list them.......the corridors were very hot as you walk down them. Only the ground floor had air conditioning. They served a continental breakfast with Texas shaped waffles; but, they didn't have […] knives to cut them with for 3 days! I went to walmart and bought some myself. My room was not cleaned everyday. The sheets were just pulled up. There was hair (not mine) on the bathroom floor. They couldn't see it I guess. And there was a really bad sulfur smell in the 5th floor hallway. I didn't even ask. Silly me for thinking this would be a decent hotel. Lesson learned is a lesson earned!! Shame on you Baymont. It was the worst stay that I had of any stays that I have taken. First the key wouldnt work after telling the front desk clerk three times, havin to carry my luggage down to the front desk all three times.Secound there wasnt any hot water to take a shower. third, there was somebody in the hall at 5 am banging on a door repeadly every ten minutes for […] over an hour, I called the front desk after listening to this for a half hour and nothing was done. this used to be a Hampton. Not up to Hampton's standards at all. peeling paint in a few places and breakfast bar not up to par either. Bed was very comfortable.

I feel this hotel has so much potential, but it's not living up to it. One of the things I look for is free breakfast, and usally as long as I can get at least a waffle I'm good. Hotel served its purpose. They did not have extra blankets when requested. We had a mix up with the rooms but it all worked itself out. The beds were comfortable and the room was spacious. The continental breakfast was only continental with cereal and waffles but was always so crowded. We were overall okay with the hotel stay.

The location is very good.however the AC is very loud its kinda hard to sleep.We came to check in at 4 which is an hour late the check in time but we still have to wait for our room to get clean.The house keepers cleans room at late afternoon which I think they should start cleaning in the mid day.

I knew I wasn't paying for luxury - but our first room had a malfunctioning TV which was more of a necessity for my kids than me, and the second room Thry moved us to did not feel was secure. The lock and doorknob to the door joining two rooms were broken off, in addition to a foul odor.

I truly felt that the staff worked hard. However I think their hands were tied in some areas such as the breakfast. When I asked if there would be any other hot items offered I was told that there would not be because they were getting rid of the old stuff the hampton had left. The promised snacks that were supposed to be available on tuesday night never appeared. There was not coffee available in the lobby throughout the day. It took the cleaning staff a long time to clean the rooms and I had to call for towels and toilet paper twice. The rooms were comfortable. Our room was clean, quiet, and comfortable. The only minor problem was that the A/C had problems keeping the room at a reasonable temperature, having to cycle constantly. Very busy on sunday morning , no seats to sit for breakfast had to stand to eat and when you have teens it makes it more difficult. Ice machine close to our room was out of order. No maps or directions for seaworld lucky we had our gps.
