For the price the hotel was great. It is currently remodeling but was very comfortable. Our only complaint is that the pool needed to be cleaned daily.

I had a bad experience on my stay from Sept 5-sept 7 09. However I must add that dealing with HOTELS.com as well as with THE HAMPTON INN SAN ANTONIO was effortless. I will applaud the MANAGER of that HAMPTON INN .. she was a very pleasant,considerate and understanding person. She handled the situation with dignity and because of that, I would change my mind and stay again at her Hotel. The staff at HOTELS.COM was WONDERFUL.. this was my first experience with both places and I WILL HIGHLY RECOMMEND to use HOTELS.COM

It is an excellent hotel for families..location is great..breakfast is excellent large meal. Just BEWARE guests should be told they will have several charges added to credit card as a hold for extra charges even though you don't use them. Not just one but 2 charges... which will be removed within 3-5 business days after you check out. Your card is charged one amount when you check in and another one after you check out and leave the hotel!! Hotel is excellent just DO NOT give your credit card as a hold..leave a cash deposit instead.

Excellent hotel for families, breakfast was excellent. We enjoyed our stay except for the fire alarm going off due to a power outage & someone locked in the elevator due to the outage...I really enjoyed my stay..the front desk staff were very helpful. It would be nice if the rooms had a small refrigerator. Will defintely stay again.

I would recommend this hotel to others the staff was friendly , the breakfast was more then i expected and the locations was a few min from Sea World.... I will be staying at this hotel again !!!!

Hampton's are always a good value. The rooms were clean, and the staff very friendly and helpful. When looking for a hotel close to Sea World, we just naturally look for the closest Hampton.

This was the second time we actually stayed at this hotel and it was as satisfactory as the first time. From Sea World to the riverwalk your pretty much right in the middle, just a few miles either direction. The room was a bit small but you are pretty much there just to sleep so it worked out just fine for my family of four. Everything was clean and the staff were very nice. The breakfast was hot and fresh. Just an overall nice stay. Will definately stay again next time we are in the area.

...no exhaust fans in the bathroom. Rooms weren't really roomy like the one we stayed at previously, but it was very comfortable, very clean, nice breakfast and personnel.

Very nice staff and loved the Sea World theme on the elevator doors! :) My daughter was excited everytime she saw Shamu! Rooms were comforable and the location was great. The resteraunt next door was SUPER! Breakfast was nice and filling.

The hotel stay was very comforting and enjoyable. The only problem my wife and I had was, the A/C , it leaked water overnight on the carpet.Good thing is that we stayed for one night. Free breakfast was more than I would have expected; my family and I loved it! I would recommend to anyone this hotel because it is located close to SeaWorld, about 10 miles.

When we got there check in was simple, we went to the room all was very clean. We then went to the pool area which was nice but could have been cleaner, Wanted to lay out but all the layout things were covered in black sute. It was very close to Sea world and the restraunt was next door so for a party of 14 it was easy to feed. The Breakfast was bland, but that is what you get when it is free. Over all it was a good hotel and i would use this again for our troop trip. The staff was excellent and very helpful.

I appreciated the directions that were available at the front desk but did not appreciate what happened to my bank account one week after my stay. I paid through this site and was still charged by the hotel. Then on top of that they added another charge a few days later. So I check with the sites customer service and they were great and assured me they had not double booked me or anything and that it was a mistake on the part of the hotel staff. Over the course of many phone calls and quite the run around I was finally able to get the customer service number for the chain itself and am awaiting the results of the investigation. So this experience has greatly overshadowed any further desire to stay at this hotel again which is sad considering I started out in the hotel industry and know that mistakes happen. But a lack of professionalism is unacceptable in the service industry and I would not wish this headache on other consumers (especially in this economy).

We have stayed in other Hampton hotels but this particular one was very small. There was no space in the actual room to move around in. It was very cramped. The reception on the TV was horribly static. We made sure we stayed out as late as possible with our children in order to avoid being cramped into the hotel room for any length of time. However, the staff was excellent. Very friendly and helpful. The hotel itself did not live up to our expectations of a Hampton Inn.

The room rate compared to other hotels closer to downtown/riverwalk is very low. I took my family to Sea World on Saturday and The Alamo/Riverwalk on Sunday. This hotel is about 15 minutes from both. Great staff and very friendly; from the front desk to the housekeepers, everyone said "hello." The breakfast was an added bonus and filled us up for a busy weekend. There is also a really good restaurant next door that we walked to for dinner both nights we stayed. I would love to stay again! My daughter loved the pictures of Shamu on the elevators! Good job Hampton Inn!

I was very happy with the quality of the hotel. Very clean, quiet and very comfortable beds with alot of pillows(:! Great breakfast, not just a continital breakfast, it was a full menu, everything you could possibly want! It was awesome, and Rachael the breakfast attendant was the happiest lady I've ever met! Front desk was very nice as well. Thank you for making our trip that much more enjoyable. If ever in San Antonio agian I'll be sure to stay there!

The hotel was clean and nice. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating, bed was a little hard and it was noisy during the night and early mornings on the floor due to the large amount of children staying at the hotel and the parents who don't control them!

I loved the location to Sea World and Dowtown. It's right in between. The staff was awesome. They were friendly and helpful with directions, ideas on what to see and the best way to do it. The place was very clean. I will stay there again.

The fastest hotel check in/check out I have ever experienced. Staff was super friendly, room was very clean. Perfect location for us. Saw a security guard walking thru the parking lot several times, which was nice. Would stay there again.
