We paid for a room with a Queen sized bed and there is no way that bed was a Queen. It was definitely a double! There was also hair and the bathroom when we got there. Plus, we had a very difficult time trying to get our key cards to work. Very frustrating!!

Was in Hendersonville for a friend's memorial service. The hotel was conveniently located although not a walking venue. The room and bed were very comfortable. The continental breakfast was extensive and the server was extremely pleasant.

My family and I were traveling home to Nashville, TN from Charleston, SC and needed a good mid-point to stop and rest for the evening. With two children ages 8 and 1, direct travel is harder to do! At first my husband and my mother, who was traveling with us, were turned off by the price per night, but I insisted as I've always like Hampton Inns compared […] to other chains. We arrived in the evening and found our hotel room to be really nice and comfortable. The beds were perfect, the room was clean, and the bathroom stocked with more than enough toiletries and towels. We ventured down to the indoor pool and found it to be a very clean area as well. The staff was super helpful and friendly, but the best part was the breakfast. You know how some hotels and inns claim to have a continental breakfast and really all they offer you the next morning is stale donuts and juice? At Hampton, my kids were able to eat much healthier, which is always a concern but especially so when you're traveling. They had waffles, fruit, cereal, breakfast sandwiches, and yogurt in their continental breakfast offerings. It was, by far, worth the price and was the best hotel stay we have had in a long while. The thermostats were set at a particular setting. As I somewhat anemic, the staff moved me to a more comfortable room which was a plus. Just wished that I could have moved the thermostat up just a little more. Other than that this hotel was great and the staff was wonderful. I would stay again.

This hotel is heads and shoulders above the other hotels in Hendersonville. It's clean / well kept and convenient to the highway and just a couple of miles from downtown.

The hotel is comfortable and clean and the room pleasant. The pillows on the bed were more comfortable than many reasonably priced hotels, they were full size and comfortable as was the king size mattress. The most outstanding attribute of this hotel was the friendliness and cordiality of the staff. The front dek attendants, the breakfast room staff, […] the maid and even the sales personenel (with whom we had but very casual contact) were extraordinarily pleasant. Obviously, attention to customer comfort and making customers feel welcome and important (addressing us by name even without referring to the computer or registration material) reflects management's arritude that customer service is a high priority. If the easy chair in the room were a little more comfortable, the hotel score would have been a perfect "5." Not rated, but worth consideration, is the opening TV screen which attempts to sell movies and is frankly a pain. Direct channel access without navigating through the movie advertisements would be an improvement. Read more

Very Disapointed! We were not told the room was very small or not the size of the regular rooms. The room was very small. We are large people and older and need room. We have a queen size bed at home. This was not as large as a queen size bed. It was hard for us to sleep confortably in that bed. The coverlet was all bumpy. Did not look or feel nice […] at all. Poor quality. When it was washed by the Hotel the batting inside matted up into a ball leaving bumps in the coverlet. Our carpet was fraying around the room. The door never opened with the card the entire stay. Also they had the makeup remover 1 night out of 3 and soap for one. I thought maybe they were cutting back? But I really missed the little makeup remover sheet, other than that it was nice and all were polite.

Although the hotel was new with all the positive features, there were a few bad points. The shower curtain was too short and kept coming out of the tub. My room was on the end and exceedingly small making the furniture jam together. The ice bucket had to be stored on the computer table. The footstool was stored under the table. Everything was very tight. […] Lastly, the breakfast consisted of packaged items to heat in microwave. Although this is acceptable, the selection was terrible. Not all listed items were available on all six days and eggs could not be had in any form, not even boiled. As example several items were either a chicken patty the size of a nugget on a biscuit or a tiny sausage on a biscuit. This is no better than a cheap continental breakfast where they give you nothing but empty carbohydrates to fill you up. At these prices even! I bought frozen breakfasts at Walmart and heated in my room microwave. Read more

We were very impressed with this hotel - everything from the room, the bathroom, the pool, the lobby and the staff were first rate. We stayed over the Labor Day weekend, to attend the annual Apple festival in Hendersonville, and we plan to return to this hotel again next year. If reservation was not prepaid, we would have left upon arrival The lobby and almost entire first floor was under renovation, and during the day, the noise was nerve wracking. The mgr. tried to be helpful somewhat, but one staff member was rude. The hotel charged an extra $10 dollars for my wife being in the room. ( a total of two people) They said […] that this is their policy. Overall I would give the hotel good ratings with cleanliness and staff. The room I had was at the end of the hall near the exit door. The exit door sounded like the closing of a jail cell door. The water was not hot but our friends who had a room ner the elevator found the water temperature quite hot.

The hotel was nice but was not happy with the room. One it was way to small for me, my husband, and daughter. Second there was this bad smell in the closet. Third our room was right by the stairs so all night I heard people going up and down the stairs. Then the front lobby was being renovated.

Staff was very helpful and accomodating. Helped us with issues unrelated to the hotel. Breakfast here was poor for a Hampton. Meals in bags to heat in two microwaves. Waffles in griddles were good. we debated going out for breakfast!
