We were with our 2 children (4 years old and 5 months old). The staff was really, really nice with always a nice word for everybody. This really makes this hotel luxurious. Food might be a little bit pricey for what it is but there are plenty of other options around. And the breakfast was included in the offer from hotels.com.

very nice hotel. one problem was that there was a very large young( 13-18 yrs) group staying there at the same time. A high noise level, no room at pool, and unable to sleep at night due to kids running, screaming and loud music all night. I was disappointed that the management did not at least take off the resort fee,as we were unable to use the pool on the first day.

as the other comments state: a/c is a bit loud, but works well! i was looking for a relaxing place to get away for the weekend. the spa did exactly that! great service and extremely relaxing. the spa has some great specials you can take advantage of and service includes the facility usage all day. all of the staff was extremely helpful and polite. its great the hotel has an adult pool so you don't have to deal with the screaming kids.

This resort is an hour from my home and I never knew it was there until I found it on hotels.com. We had a great time. ALL the staff was super friendly and the place is gorgeous. Food is a little pricey, but other than that it was worth way more than what we paid. We will be going back, this time with the kiddos!

Nice family resort. We enjoyed biking and playing foosball at the game room. The kids enjoyed the slide too. The staff are friendly and helpful. We had the Family Vacation packet which came with breakfast, very good deal.

This was a great place at an incredible price. Everyone including the lounge and resturant employees were terffic. No need to leave the property if you choose.

The Hotel does not advertise the Resort fee of $25 plus the $10 per day parking you have to pay in addition to the room rate, so you have to add that to the cost of the room. We were there when it was 120 outside and cooled off to 106 at night. The A/C unit in our room did not cool the room down good. The rooms are big and comfortable and close to everything we were doing.

This place is unreal! Total country club feel for a reasonable price. My wife and I fell in love with this place from the moment we walked in the door. Guest rooms are spacious, clean, and updated. They have 7 pools including an adult pool and kids water slide. The fitness center was huge with all new workout equipment including treadmills with tv's attached. We are already planning our next trip to this fine resort but next time I'll be bringing my golf clubs!

My husband and I loved our stay at this hotel. Going in August was a great deal. The staff was really nice and gave us a free upgrade to a room with huge terrace - actually 2 terraces! While it was over 100 degrees outside the pool was fantastic and relaxing. Wish we were still there!

We had a wonderful time in Palm Springs and loved staying at the hotel. It was beautiful and comfortable. It exceeded my expectations of how nice it would be. It was my second time staying here and would highly recommend it to anyone.

The hotel was very nice, the staff were exceptionally friendly, they even walked us to where the pool was, and the adult pool was the BEST! The only downside was that either the walls were kind of thin, or our neighbors were very loud with kids. Other than that it was a great stay. I'd stay there again!

The room was ready when we arrived early. We had an excellent view. The service was friendly and fast . The surrounding was quite. We had an excellent and relaxing time.

Loved everything about it...but what they dont tell you is the $23 a day "hotel service" fee that you have to pay at the end, that includes the gym, pools and all the other things the hotel provides (last time i checked that all came with my nightly fee) otherwise great hotel!

We were not permitted to check in until 4PM and therefore arrived at 4:15 PM only to be told the requested room--view of the golf course--was not available. Instead we were place on the second floor facing the parking lot entirely too low to get the "view of the mountains" as promised. Only one drinking glass was provided. The towels were small by 4 star standards. No magnifying mirror in bathroom. And other minor things we've grown to expect from a 4 star facility. However, the dinner in the main dining room presented by Kieran Fleming was one of the best meals we have ever eaten!

This hotel was fabulous. Nice, big rooms. Beautiful pool. I absolutely loved it and will be back.

I have stayed at the Hyatt Grand Champions several times in the past. The hotel charges a "resort fee" of $25/day. In the past that fee included use of spa facilities with treatments (facials, massages,etc.) being extra. This time I was stopped as I approached the spa and was told that there is an additional fee (on top of the resort fee) for using the steam room and sauna. Given that I would spend only a few minutes, I didn't want to spend the extra money on it. The spa facility is one of the reasons I chose this hotel, and would check out other options in the future before deciding on where to stay.

We did not know what to expect. We were given a choice as to what view we wanted (mountains, pool or golf course) and we chose the golf course view (very nice). It was family friendly and pleasant.

LOVED THE FACT THAT THERE WAS A SEPERATE ADULT POOL, ONLY OVER 18 ALLOWED.

The hotel was very nice although it was a bit old and outdated from what we expected. The service however was outstanding. Everyone we saw made a point to ask if we needed anything or just had a "good morning, have a nice day" as we passed in the hall. The pool service was excellent and we never had to wait for a drink/food order. If you are traveling without kids, be sure to go to the adult pool. We didn't see it the first day but discovered it the next day. The chairs have comfy cushions and it is a much more quite and relaxing time. Expect a $23/day "resort fee" upon check out. We had read reviews so we were not surprised when we got our final bill.

I booked two rooms for a family stay at a very discounted rate. Thought I was getting a great deal - but when I arrived it was even better! They upgraded both our our rooms - the one my husband and I stayed in was a villa with it's own backyard and jacuzzi. The service and the people who work there are incredibly nice. The only small complaint is the drink service by the pool was incredibly slow (they were way understaffed), but the server still was sweet and did her best, carrying around a massive tray in 115 degree heat. Lots of shady areas in the pool complex - a water slide and fountain area for kids. I really enjoyed it. The hotel has been there since the early eighties I believe, and showing a bit of wear -- not much though! I love the layout of the lobby. The food in the restaurant is amazing and creative! The lobby bar is fun with live music most nights. Great for families or couples. Thank you Hyatt, for giving our family a much needed break at an excellent value!

We couldn't get a good sleep because the air conditiner is too loud. We stopped our air conditioner and still can hear the air conditioner from other room.

Great place to stay but upon checkout through TV, there was a $25 per day resort fee applied. Did not have time to dispute charges since we had a tee time in 45 minutes. Even with resort fee, price was still very good but I hated the thought of having to pay more than I signed up for - but hey, I might still get my money back. I'll give hotels.com a call when I get my credit card bill. Overall, the place is a virtual oasis.

room was nice, large and comfortable. I wished the A/C worked a little better and that the beds sure could use a make over. Think Westin's heavenly bedding. Other than that it was delightful..

My husband and I stayed one night at the hotel to celebrate his birthday. We had a great time and thought it was a lovely place. The pool area was very crowded and we had to hunt for seats poolside, but I suppose that is to be expected on Memorial Day weekend. Only real complaint is the resort fee for internet access and other amenities we didn't use. Why do we have to pay for them? If they must charge them, just roll them into the cost of the room as opposed to charging them separately. That was annoying. Otherwise, a nice place. We'd go again.

Excellent Resort. The pool, spa, and health club were great. The food at the hotel was excellent. The best I have ever had at a resort of this type. The only draw back was that the room rate did not include the ammenities so you had to pay a daily fee for use of the pool, health club, and internet. The fee should be included with the room rate...if you don't have the ammenities, then why pay all the money for the room.

Great Hotel if you desire quite and relaxation time. The adult pool is a true adult pool with no children. If you want to party there is a club at the hotel next door to it. Overall great hotel.

Room was very clean and very quiet. A couple of reviews I read said it was a loud hotel with thin walls. I did not see it that way. I had a very quiet room.

The hotel was nice and the bunnies running around the grounds were a nice touch. The room was comfy but not perfect- there was a hole in my rug, a missing hair dryer and crack in the mirror. The staff wasn't very attentive to me a single young woman but sure paid special attention to families and rich, white, old couples. I asked for the LA Times to be delivered in my room and it never was (even after I remind them). I was never sat by the hostess for the breakfast buffet (the buffet was great anyway). This hotel is a good choice for families. There were a lot of kids.

Stayed 3 great nights--played both golf courses. Great staff. Loved the area and choice of restaurants.

Stayed with my wife and two small children for easter.Very crowded to say the least first day my wife was threatend and screamed at ,for taking a share toy by the pool right in front of the pool manager who said nothing.Next day I park in the shared parking lot just to have another guest threaten me for taking his parking space.A little later by the pool,no chairs,the pool manager comes over and assigns us some chairs.About an hour later this lady screams at me for 20 minutes for taking her chair,again the pool manager watches and does nothing. We will never go back there is so many other great properties in the Palm Springs area.

Absolutely had the best time outside in the sun relaxing by the pool. Everytime we go, we have a wonderful time.

Great hotel. Adult pool has nice chaise lounges, quiet environment and helpful staff. Work out center is fantastic! It has personal televisions on each elliptical and treadmill. The classes (pilates and yoga) were great. The only problem is finding a jogging or walking route from the hotel. You have to walk along the major highway 111. The casual restaurant serves delicious breakfasts. Our hotel arrangment included a full breakfast and we really enjoyed the selection of foods. We did not like having to pay a "resort fee" upon checkout. This additional charge caused the overall cost to exceed our original budgeted amount.
