Good hotel with HUGE rooms! Best continental breakfast I've had in a quick-stay hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Comfortable, clean, neat"
Other than expedia booking first name as last , the room was neat, clean and very comfortable. would highly recommend this facility. complementary breakfast was excellent with pleasant staff, comfortable dining area with sufficient space for couples or groups. significant value for the room rate.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Great overall experience."
Excellent hotel and one of my best travel experiences. The room was clean and orderly, though the carpet was a bit wet when we came in (I suspect this was from a cleaning immediately before our arrival). The staff was wonderful and the provided breakfast was both tasty and filling. Definitely a place I'd return to in the future.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Otherwise top notch!"
The motel is quite nice overall. I had 2 specific issues. 1) There is no elliptical machine in the workout room - 2 treadmills, 2 stationary bikes and free weights. The machines have individual TV's - very nice, but I really need the elliptical for my workout. 2) I love breakfast. There was adequate room to eat but not in the food service area. That […] was very crowded and it is a bit unpleasant to have to say "excuse me" every 15 sec as you are in someone's way or they in yours, or you bump them with your breakfast. At 6 a.m. there is no crowd! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"Home away from home"
We really enjoyed our stay using our Welcome Rewards night and were able to try a whirlpool suite. The whirlpool was relaxing and the homeyness of the suite was a pleasant surprise. We were on a schedule that prevented us from trying the pool and other amenities. Breakfast was okay for cafeteria style. The place just had a nice feel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Good for family stay"
I wish the breakfast had been better. The food was Overlooked most days. We didn't get to try the dinners But nice that they offered that rooGenuine Expedia guest review

I've stayed in numerous Homewood Suites and this is by far is one of my top three. The rooms were clean, comfortable and well stocked with toiletries. The bed had an abundance of pillows and blankets; one of the best nights rest I had in a long time. The staff was outstanding... Breakfast was acceptable. Awesome stay for a connection for our family trying to link along I-70 to join daughter (NJ), son (W & J college lacrosse son), and pet w/ Ohio mom + dad). "Good central location for area attractions"
We spent Easter weekend here. It was rather crowded, but our needs were met quickly and with friendliness by the staff. During our stay the shower drain was clogged, but once they knew about the problem it was taken care of within an hour. Our complaints: the walls seemed a bit thin, we could hear our neighbors clearly, sometimes every word and sound, […] it was difficult to access the thermostat because a huge tv was in front of it, and while there were many breakfast choices the food was not particularly tasty. However, if we travel back to the area again we would definitely choose to stay here again. The room and rest of the hotel were clean and well maintained, the location was perfect to visit Hershey and Gettysburg, and the staff was excellent. It was a good value for our money. On web site it says Dogs stay free!! They charged me $50.00 for one night. I would of stayed at another hotel if I had not already paid thru expedia. Other hotels were $10.00 for pets across the street. I got two rooms which were on different floors. Not handy with a family with 4 kids.Genuine Expedia guest review
Our stay was fantastic! The room was beautiful! It was spacious, clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. The staff was friendly, courteous, and helpful. The only improvement I would suggest is the scrambled eggs for breakfast. They were pretty tasteless and bland. All of the other food served at breakfast was excellent.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Homewood Suites - Harrisburg"
2nd stay!! Great hotel, very accomodating, friendly staff, clean room, great breakfast! We'll be back!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"I could move in here!"
This Homewood Suites is located off to the side of an office park. We were there on the weekend but the buildings are spaced far apart and there is an empty field next to the hotel so it was very quiet. There is a grill deli right across the street and the freeway is close by. The facility itself is about as nice as it can get. There is a complimentary […] breakfast AND dinner. The decor is beautiful. The room had everything we needed including extra blankets on the shelf. The suite is NOT a hotel room worked over. It is a small apartment. Large kitchen, living room with couch and easy chair, two large screen TVs (one in the bedroom) with cable, of course. Wi fi too. The king bed was perfect. The bathroom was very large with big closet. We were attending a meeting in Harrisburg about 15 minutes away and we were happy to make the drive to Homewood. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Even lent my husband an ice scraper when a nor'easter came through. This is a great place for short or long stays. There's a large laundry room on the same floor as the room, right near the pool table. Very cool. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

Myself and my family found this hotel to be a great value for the money. Check in was smooth and easy. The suite was spacious with the seperate bedroom and kitchenette. Very nice room everything was perfect. The only real problem was the temperature, very cold in there and couldn't find a thermostat to change it. No restaurants in walking distance and a little further drive to hershey park than I would have liked, but well worth the money.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Hershey Park Bound"
We spent an entire day at Hershey Park with 4 kids and arrived at the hotel close to midnight. The staff was great. They were friendly and accomodating to our late arrival. The hotel was easy to find with the use of the GPS. However, it is in a very dark industrial area and you might think you are lost. The room was spacious and very clean. We had the […] room with a suite, two to a bed including the let-out sofa. The carpet NEEDS REPLACING but overall it was a great stay. We arrived too late to enjoy the pool, so I have no comment about that area. Moreover, I wish the staff would have mentioned the time for breakfast the next morning. Unfortunately we missed it and had to find some place to eat, which was not easy if you want a good sit down breakfast. Our stay was enjoyable and I would recommend this hotel. "Well worth the trip in the Hershey Area"
07/30/14 Tara S Valley Stream, United States
This hotel is about a 30 minute drive to Hershey but well worth it. The location is great in a business park, nice and quiet. We were on the 2nd floor and the suite was so quiet, we couldn't believe the hotel was booked up! Staff was very accommodating. Breakfast staff busts their butts for everyone and it shows. Delicious food. Get there early before the crowd! I left my charger in the room and they mailed it back to me.
"Not Great, Not Bad"
07/29/14 tjkm New York
We stayed at this hotel this past weekend while visiting Hershey Park. We had a large group of friends traveling with us, 18 in all with each family having their own reservations. Over all, the feelings among the group about this hotel were mixed. I will for the most part just give my thoughts. The Good I liked the location of the hotel. It is right off the highway and about twenty minutes from Hershey Park. I loved the two story lobby. It felt very inviting when we walked in. The size of the rooms and the layout were great. We were very satisfied with our accommodations. The second floor lobby has a very nice space with a pool table and checkers tables with really cool art work on the walls. I would also like to mention three outstanding staff members. Ifeta, with the housekeeping department was awesome. She greeted us with a beautiful smile and was extremely helpful. She went above and beyond to provide us with anything we needed. We also found Yolanda in housekeeping to be very nice and attentive. Catherine in the food service area was extremely friendly and bubbly--we enjoyed her very much. The Bad The reason I chose this hotel for our group was because it was so well rated by other travelers. This leads me to believe that the negative things we experienced were perhaps just a matter of being there at the wrong time. This past weekend, the hotel was packed, maybe even fully booked and this may have been the cause of some of the problems we experienced. As a group we were not thrilled with the breakfast. On Saturday and Sunday, there did not seem to be sufficient seating for all of the guests. Some, NOT ALL of the workers in the kitchen were noticeably irritated and stressed and expressed those feelings toward us. After awhile I was hesitant to ask for assistance from anyone because I did not feel like being snapped at. Another problem was that when some of the food items ran out, it took as long as ten to fifteen minutes to be replenished. In addition to that, several times during our three day stay there was no coffee available, and we had to ask for more to be made. Homewoods that we have stayed at in the past ALWAYS had coffee available throughout the day. Sunday we got caught in a bad storm while at Hershey Park and were dying for some coffee when we got back to the hotel that evening. How disappointing to not find any already made! Lastly, one of my friends had an inordinate amount of dust in her room. She is not one to complain and she didn't want me to say anything to management. She was of the opinion that because the hotel was so full there wouldn't be any other rooms for her family of five to be moved to. She also was concerned that if someone tried to dust, it would make things worse because then the dust would be flying around the room and make her children sick. I felt very bad about this, because as I mentioned before, I organized this trip. I understand that this hotel is going to be remodeled and so maybe that will fix some of the issues. I'm not saying I would never return to this hotel again, but it probably would not be my first choice. When you arrange a trip involving others you want everyone to be happy, and when that is not the case you feel responsible. Needless to say, this put a damper on my trip because I was worried and concerned about all of my friends. But, all in all we made the best of it.
"A Little Worn... Unequipped to Handle Breakfast for a Full House... but Very Good"
07/28/14 Christopher M Twinsburg, Ohio
This is the first time staying at a Homewood Suites for me. It was a business/family stay. Every employee was exceedingly pleasant and helpful, even in difficult situations. The rooms were a wee bit worn, but nothing to complain about. The layout worked well for my family as we were able to use the king bed in one room while the kids used the sofa bed in the other. Very noticeable was the lack of noise from both the hallway and other rooms. We had a laundry room outside our room... didn't hear it. I was very happy about that, as that is one of my big complaints about hotel rooms. The breakfast situation, however, was horrible. The staff admitted it to be so. It is nothing against the people who work at the hotel. It is simply a matter of adequate planning by the owners of the hotel and those who built the hotel. The breakfast area and the staff employed in the breakfast area was not able to handle a full house. Honestly, I don't think it could be handled even if the hotel was 75% full. Hardly any fruit. The regular scrambled eggs were really bad. Lines backed up three quarters of the way into the breakfast seating area. Bread that had grown stale and hard at the corners. The second day of our stay, we just skipped it because it was a catastrophe. And the meeting room they were using for overflow the day before was occupied by a group. Again, it was great of the staff, when checking out, to recognize that the breakfast situation was unacceptable. They will be renovating and extending the breakfast area to get rid of certain logjams and provide additional seating. We will probably be back, so we will be excited to see the upgrades when we do come back.

Gave ID to Clerk and was given another persons room(different name). After being in room for an hour, had to repack everything ,go to the sdesk and move to another room at the other end of the hotel. The tub drain in this room did not drain when I was taking my shower at 4am to go to my appointment.

Hotel was nice. Mgr reception made it a decent value for the money. Pool was kind of small, but looked nice for kids to cool off. We left too early to enjoy the breakfast, but that also adds to the value.
"Not your typical Homewood Suites"
07/20/14 67Mopar Norwich, Connecticut
If you have ever stayed in a suite at a Residence Inn Hotel, then you will find this place very familiar. This is a fine Hotel to be sure, but the suites are not laid out or furnished like any Homewood Suites that I have ever stayed at. They are identical to every Residence Inn that I have ever stayed at however. This is not a bad thing, but in terms of quality & comfort, I generally consider Homewood Suites to be one level higher than a Residence Inn.

Overall, this is a very good hotel. Nice accommodations, good staff, excellent room. Free wifi. Interesting too, I was there at the same time a very large girl dance group was there. The age group of girls that carry that very loud high vocal pitch if you know what I mean. Anyhow, to attest to the quality of the room and how quiet, I never once heard anyone/anything from within my room. Nice and quiet. lol.

My daughter and I stayed at this hotel for 5 nights for a dance competition in Hershey,Pa(20 min away). The staff was fantastic and the facility worked out beautifully for a long stay..big rooms with separate bedroom, kitchen and especially the complimentary breakfast, dinner and reception! They even had washer/dryers available which was important to us as we headed on to NYC(2Hrs 45 min away) from there. Would recommend this hotel for business or pleasure.

This property made you feel like you were home. Breakfast was great. The set-up of the property and recreational activities for the kids was perfect. Staff went above and beyond. Will stay here again.

Clean, staff really wanted to please us, and they did. If we had a request the staff was right there and very helpful. Breakfast was very good. I really was aware until near the end of our stay that the evening reception was complementary.
