OK for a quick stay but I think there are better places for the same price. Even if I had to pay a bit more it would be worth it. Probably would not stay there again.

We were pleasantly surprised, after reading some of the reviews, we were expecting a lot worse. Our only complaint was that the coffee tastes like instant. The room was spacious and very clean. We will stay here again and recommend this hotel.

Owners/staff are terrific. The hotel is dated, but I have stayed there twice and had v ery clean, comfortable accommodations. The car is in a secure, fenced area with security cameras viewing it. I have no complaints at all about this hotel and would recommend it to anyone who needs a clean, comfortable room for a night or so.

The box springs on one bed had stains that i dont want to imagine what they were, the other one had paper wrapping on it, there was food on the floor...need i say more? It was gross and we cancelled our 2ndway night. It was also very loud from freeway

When we checked in we were given "Joining Rooms" but when we got there there was no door between them. We were then moved into new rooms (they didn't know which ones joined so they had to physically walk around and look. Then we got to our new room and found that there was Hair all over in the shower (still is some on the wall after the maid cleaned […] every day). I specifically went down to the desk after our first nights stay and asked that the hair be cleaned. The man working the desk was extremely grumpy and immediately got defensive not even hearing me out and said it would be cleaned but for 2 more days we dealt with the nasty hair. Our sheets were also dirty and stained. Overall this hotel had great sized rooms and great convenience to the mall across the street but the cleanliness was absurd as well as the TERRIBLE customer service. Read more

Hotel is good. Always the rooms were clean as well as the building and the parking lot. The service during the breakfast was good and we never get a bad attitude or shorteness actions. Even some days we arrive late at night always found somebody on the desk ready to attend any demand. We recommend the hotel.

The hotel is family owned, operated and inhabited. The family's rooms/apartments are scattered throughout the guest rooms so it made it kind of awkward. It almost felt like staying in a strangers house, who didn't want you there. There is a tiny 2 man elevator to get to the 2nd and 3rd floors, we barely got our suitcases in it. The room smelled like […] an ashtray, even though I requested a non-smoking room and was told I was in fact in a non-smoking room. Even the towels smelled like cigarettes. The carpet is gross, the mattresses are hard as a rock and nasty. The lighting is overhead and motion sensored, which made for a fun time when you're motionless watching TV or reading. The neighborhood is super sketchy and didn't feel safe at all. Other guests were pretty sketchy too. The front desk staff was nice, but quiet and didn't seem to care much about our stay. It's a pretty old hotel with some fresh paint slapped on the walls which is not enough to make it nice. Looks decent in the photos but up close and personal, it's not a nice place at all. The wall unit did not cool the room off, so we spent most of the night sweating. The "safety lock" on the door didn't work properly, so we shoved a chair under the handle. Moral of the story kids...stay elsewhere if at all possible. We booked last minute on Labor Day Weekend, and the only reason I didn't leave as soon as I saw the place, is because there was no vacancy anywhere else. Read more

Nice location, convenient off the i10 highway. Me and my son went for a funeral, booked a room there for 2 king size beds and they charged me an additional $10/night for my son's stay on top of the cost of the hotel room x 2 nights plus tax. My bathroom door was not properly aligned with the wall so it never shut locked. I had to ask for a coffee machine […] 10x. And the continental breakfast was just store bought danishes and terrible coffee in a small room in the lobby. There are security cameras everywhere. But overall, it was ok for the price and the large king size beds, and the location was great. The room's cleansliness was great. Best hotel amenity I had was the free wi-fi and the swimming pool located in the center courtyard of the hotel rather then the back. Read more

The hotel location was right off the freeway, but my room was quiet and clean. Nothing special about it though. The neighborhood is kind of sketchy, with a night club just down the street, but I didn't have any issues with noise or anything. Overall, a basic, clean, quiet room for a cheap price.

It was very nice, room was nice and clean. Had plenty of space in the room. Very pleased to find a hotel with two king size beds to the room. Only down fall to our stay was the jacuzzi didn't work that well. Other than that I would stay here again and definitely recommend this place to others.

The room was larger than most rooms we've been in, and the hotel and room was clean and convenient. Parking a large veh might pose a problem. The staff was friendly and helpful. The couch in room 318 was embarrassing. it was very dirty. I was relocated to room 214 which wasn't much better. In the morning m fiance was stopped from bringing coffee to me.(she was told it is against regulation!!!!!). Let me begin by stating that when it comes to living conditions, I usually have fairly low standards. Give me the basics and I'm usually ok. I don't need too much to be happy. However, this location managed to not meet my low standards. It was no problem to me that the door to the room would not shut properly and that I had to try several times to […] get it to lock. It was not a problem to me that the TV in the room only had one working channel. It wasn't even a problem to me that the spa and the pool were very dirty and that the spa was horribly under-heated. The problem with this location was that the owner (I'm assuming she's the owner), quite frankly, had an attitude problem. The other workers were perfectly fine and perfectly reasonable people, but she had a chip on her shoulders. The night before our last night, we had some friends from nearby come visit us at the hotel and we hung out until around midnight when they went home. The next morning, I go to checkout and this lady at the desk begins giving me dirty looks and questioning me. In very curt phrases asks me, "How many people were in your room?" I tell her 2 people and she rudely responds, "What about your two friends?" Again, I calmly told her that they visited that night and left around midnight. Up to this point I understood her questioning me (minus her rude attitude), but here's where she lost me. She then said, "We don't allow visitors in our hotel" What? Really now? No Visitors? Since when has the been a rule? I told her, I've been to many different hotels and I have never received a complaint about having visitors or been told that no visitors are allowed. I told her, when I made my reservation, I saw nothing written that no visitors were allowed at the hotel. If I had, I would have booked at another location. The rooms did not have information cards about how to access the wireless Internet or how to contact the Help Desk for support. We stayed three days in this hotel on business, and it was an excellent value. Very reasonably priced for a hotel that has just been renovated. Our room was a spacious King double, and was huge. Bathrooms had also just recently been renovated and were nice, with no hot water or pressure issues. Bonus - the pool and hot tub are a nice thing to have […] after a long day. Overall, my sons and I had a wonderful stay at the Days Inn of West Covina. It's very easy to get to off of the freeway, and liked the convenience of many restaurants, shopping, etc. nearby. We will definately stay there again in the future.

Only Ice machine is located on the first floor. Continental Breakfast...hm If you are in to healthier choices, you will be disappointed.... Never was able to get on the internet, even though the place is supposed to be wireless? Excellent for my needs... spacious and refridge/microwave!
