I am in love...this motel is clean and all that you would expect for the price BUT the biggest surprise is the breakfast and the rooms....made to order waffles and other hot items as well as all rooms have micro, refrid, and free wifi in them. A Wendys restaurant in parking lot and Walmart across the street. At the intersection of the interstates too...If […] this is your price range you could never ask for more!!!! The staff was very friendly. The room was very clean, with modern dust ruffle and comforter. As a woman travelling by my self I felt very safe and secure. Free WiFi is a must these days, good size table to work on.

Hotel was very clean, and the hotel staff was exceptionally polite. Carried on with me about football, just an all around nice guy at the front desk. It helps when the staff is personal with their customers. The hotel room was very clean, and the bed and bathrooms were no exception. We slept perfect on the huge bed, and the refrigerator and microwave […] were nice surprises. Room had a 32" HD television and wide array of channels, including HBO if you're interested. We stayed here to be close to Cheaha State Park. It's about a half hour drive, and a very scenic drive at that. I would certainly recommend this hotel to a friend. A side note, Shoney's breakfast buffet is just about a half mile down the road on the other side of the interstate; excellent buffet. I hadn't eaten at Shoney's in over fifteen years. This hotel was approximately thirteen miles from the Talladega race track. It is an older motel that they have been modernizing and they have done a nice job. We were wary when first arriving but once in the office we found the people to be very friendly and anxious to please. I needed a clean room for an overnight stay and Econo Lodge delivered. The room needs updating, but for the price, it was good. The hotel is situated near the interstate and within walking or short driving distance to many nice eateries. If you need a clean, quiet room for the night for a low price, this hotel is the ticket!

The room was big enough, there's a frig and microwave and the bed is comfy. I stayed one night on a road trip and was very satisfied. Personnel were friendly and helpful. It's not fancy but it was fine for what I needed. The breakfast was good, too, and had more than just bread and rolls. I have stayed here before and I will stay here again.
