Overall satisfaction of the hotel was high but there was one detail that could not be overlooked. Impossible to take a shower without flooding bathroom floor. This was very annoying. Other than that, the hotel was first rate.

The front desk attention has been the worst of any Hilton I've ever been. With the exception of one individual they didn´t care about helping out costumers or answering questions. The hotel is far from major attractions and sometimes was hard to get a cab. Good breakfast and clean nice room

This was my first time staying at the Hilton Shanghai . I travel to Shanghai on business alot. My first impression was that the hotel is very old. The hotel service at check-in was extremely helpful. The room they gave me had a panoramic view and was manageable. However, the carpet was very old and the room smelled like mildew. They had lots of places […] to put clothes, which made it ideal if you are staying for a week or so. The bed was very comfortable. The chairs and couch were kind of old. The other furniture was classic and very nice. It was difficult to find plug outlets, since there were so many lamps in the room taking up the spots. I had to charge my cellphone in the bathroom and my laptop at the desk. The Bathroom also needed some updating, but was workable. The soaps were Crabtree and Evelynn brand. They didn't include razors in the room, but the front desk is quick to bring if requested. Laundry service was surpising. They packed it better than other hotels I stayed in Shanghai. The Swimming pool was nice but odd shaped, I found myself running into people while swimming laps. The spa area was extremely relaxing. The hot tub, and showers wre nice as well. The only thing I didn't like about the spa / pool area is the locals. There were a number of local members that use the gym and pool facilities, and it gets very annoying. The area is close to Nanjing road, so it is easy to find places to eat. Overall, I would stay there again if the price is right. Read more

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel. Staff are friendly, it's well organised and it has excellent facilties. It is close to a metro line and the rest of Shanghai is easily accessed. Good value for money.

Stayed for 5 nights in a room located on the 8th fllor; Service quality at the front desk was good and efficient. Overall experience was OK for a 5 star hotel, apart from the following: - Breakfast was rather un-exciting for a 5 star hotel. It was closer to a 4 start hotel ion my opinion. No brie, camember, or blue cheese were offered as selection, […] just very standard and average cheeses. - Room service: food, in regards to the price charged is not up to expectations. Was served a lousy minestroni soup (recipe is not a standard european recipe) that would shame any hotel of international repute. Portions for the international cheese platter varied from one night to another (at least 1/3 less), while the menu stated that grapes and walnuts would be served. No such thing happened: the first time, dried plums were served only. The second time, only raisins were served, which prompted me to complain. The room service staff was prompt to attend, provided nuts (which were far from fresh), no grappes, but a Hilton box of Chocolote in due of apology, chocolates which quality was below any commercial chocolate brands. Platter of fresh fruit was, just like the cheese platter, inconsistent from a night to another, not mentioning that the dragon fruit served was too ripe; Room was clean, but the pillows were slightly "smelly" (body odour). Room ligthing was very poor, creating a "gloomy" atmosphere, made worse by 5 days of continuous rain. Outdated. Ironing table and irons were not part of the standard equipment provided. No feedback form was provided ahead of check out. I would rather opt for a newer hotel the next time around. Read more

This was my third trip to Sanghai and the best hotel experience of the three because this time I stayed at the Hilton. The best features of this hotel are the breakfast, the location and the service. They spoke fluent English, were extremely efficient, enthusiastic and more than willing to answer any of my questions. They gave me an upper-floor, nonsmoking room when I requested it, with no hassles. The rooms themselves were on par with an average 5-star hotel. Nothing to write home about, but comfortable and clean. The bed had new, nice linens and were clean. I think some of the furniture and appliances are little worn and should be replaced in another year or two. I was really surprised about the quality of the breakfast. It was a nice, relaxing venue with plenty of good food to choose from. In conclusion, I would definitely stay here again. I stayed at the Oriental Riverside Hotel and the Westin on the Bund during my previous stays. I think this hotel beats them both for the price. Read more

das HILTON Shanghai hat leider die besten Tage hinter sich! Sicher Lobby, Frühstücksraum alles gediegen im Stil HILTON nur die Zimmer, die Ausstattung (Böden, Bad, Möbel) sind einfach nicht mehr Zeitgemäß. Dies fängt bei den Zimmertüren an, geht übers Bad bis hin zu den Möbeln.Schade für so ein Tratitionshotel. Positiv das Frühstück.

エグゼクティブラウンジの居心地が良く、上海に行くたびにこちらに宿泊しています。静安寺の駅や空港バスターミナルからやや距離はありますが（歩道橋のエスカレーターが上りしかないので荷物を持って下りるのは大変･･･）十分満足できる立地です。タクシーに乗っても「希尓頓」と言えば、運転手さんは確実に送り届けてくれるので安心です。スパものんびりくつろげます。また次回も泊まろうと思っています。

6月9日に出張で利用しました。 3名で蘇州から杭州に移動中の1泊だけでしたが、施設の充実度はもちろん、スタッフの対応が大変良く、さすがにヒルトンでした。 夕方C/I・早朝C/Oの慌しい中、レストランのアレンジから上海雑技団見物の手配、翌朝杭州行きの新幹線予約とチケット購入、果ては新幹線虹橋駅までのタクシー手配から乗り場案内まで、コンシェルは実に良く働いてくれました。 同行の顧客も大満足で、プライベートで訪問の際も利用したいとの感想を頂戴しました。 上海の定宿にしようと思います。
