One reason we chose this hotel was its stated proximity to the Albert Dock area as we were booked into the Tate Gallery's Picasso Exhibition. We were able to walk there in 10 minutes. 2 night stay. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. The views from the restaurant were interesting and overlooked "The Ferry across the Mersey" and the famous Liver Building. The food was good aswell. Our room was comfortable and well appointed. However, the walls seemed thin as I was woken up at 6am by our neighbour plugging in and using a hairdryer behind my head.

Comfortable beds - Friendly helpful staff - Liked the view - History comes with your parking. Located alongside the Mersey, the Atlantic Towers is handy for China town, Matthew Street, and Albert Dock among others and a stones throw from tourist-leisure-retail bases. Reception staff friendly and helpful. Parking (reduced rate) around the corner. Room comfortable, clean and well stocked. Our room had a view of the river and the Liver buildings so we also got to watch the stunning sunset over the Mersey from a lovely wide window. Breakfast was buffet service in the restaurant facing the river. It gave a wide choice ( continental and full english options 0including black pudding!). Only negative was in driving to the front door. Once we found the hotel on the left, we found we had to be 3 lanes over to turn right and back on ourselves (although the road is marked for Chapel street). Train travellers will find it easily.

Staff were extremely helpful and polite and the hotel is situated within walking distance of the main attractions/nightlife. Room was clean and tidy, however it was let down by the lack of ventilation - windows didn't open, no extraction fan in bathroom and aircon fixed at a set rating that wouldn't allow cooler air to be blown! This led to a very stuffy room after a night out and a shower the next morning. It didn't matter that there was no view from the window as it was permanently steamed up due to the lack of ventilation. That said, the staff were very good and I'd recommend Liverpool for a destination if you're looking for a weekend away.

It costs £6 per night to park there. The hotel reception area is very impressive and the staff are very friendly and welcoming.
