"Best choice for price!"
This was a pleasant surprise, esp. since I booked just days before our stay. For the price, the value, location, amenities were perfect. The hotel appears somewhat dated from the outside and inside of rooms, but they are SUPER clean, comfortable, have new TV, microwave, very cold fridge, and working heated pool and hot tub area. We overheard another […] guest saying 2 other motels nearby did not have their indoor pools/hot tubs working. Breakfast incl. hot items that were yummy ~ make your own waffles, sausage, biscuits and gravy, egg; and all the basic items, too (muffins, bagels, juice, yogurt, cereal). We skied all day, then looked forward to being so close that we could get back and warm and clean up, within minutes! This was on the main strip, near a lot of great restaurants (esp. Hurleys!), so all in all, just perfect. I only give it 4 stars bc it could use updating, but I would still def. recommend it to all my friends and family! Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review

"Quick Tubing Adventure"
We traveled to Maggie Valley for a quick trip with family to tube. Maggie Valley is absolutely dead during the winter season! Most all activities in or nearby are shut down until early spring. The hotel staff was very friendly. They had not booked all our rooms near each other. The desk attendant, Marie worked to rearrange our rooms and placed us near […] each other. They allowed our group to eat lunch in the breakfast area as long as we cleaned up...and we did. The walls must be very thin at this hotel because it sounded like elephants above us one morning. The overflow parking appears to be in someones front yard.LOL Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Our first trip to Maggie Valley in 30 years."
We had a great time. The staff was very good and helpful. Good Southern Hospitality. My only complaint was the pool room. It was condensation due to the cold weather outside. That was no problem, though. It is nice to have a warm swimming pool when the outside temp. is cold. Keep up the good work. r, Phil and Fran GreeneGenuine Expedia guest review
Beds were comfortable, staff friendly, clean room, room rates were reasonable.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
very niceGenuine Hotels.com guest review
The desk attendant, Don, was very helpful upon check-in. The hotel was clean and quiet. It was the off season during my visit so there isn't much to do locally. They recommended a good Italian and steak place for dinner. I would definitely stay at this location again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The staff was polite and curtious. The room was comfortable and clean. The hotel has age on it but so do we all. My doberman pinscher loved the area. I am glad they allow dogs of any size or variety. I will stay again .Genuine Expedia guest review

"Typical Maggie Valley"
A little run down, but about what I have come to expect from Maggie Valley. Check in was quick once the lady returned to the desk. The room wasn't bad, but had a clogged sink. We were offered another room with an odd smell, so the last room was given to us. Standard, but clean room. The lady at the desk was later seen cleaning the odd smelling room […] herself. As with most hotels, there are inconsiderate people that would slam doors and shout down the halls, but they did not wake the kids, so no problems. The pool was cold, but nice. The hot tub left a foul odor on me, so I quickly bathed. No problems with the fridge or microwave, and wanted to bring the shower head home. The breakfast was very good with friendly chat shared by all. We were next door to Oktoberfest, so there was entertainment for the evening. Marie (Allen?)at the front desk was essentially running the entire place herself, while dealing with nasty, unfriendly patrons. She was probably the best hotel worker I have ever dealt with. "Desk Clerk is the ONLY Staff??"
Unreal. Friday night at 8pm, goofy Octoberfest right next door and, when we arrive, a note on the desk saying "sorry, no one is here". After 30 minutes the woman shows up and all she could say was "Oh , I was fixing a tv set! What a fly-by-night operation.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Convenient & Comfortable"
After dropping our last child (Young Adult) off at college - the Comfort Inn was convenient, comfortable and a very friendly front desk manager made it nice after a hectic day. My wife and I would stay there again the next time we are in Maggie Valley.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"summer get away"
Pleasant stay in a beautiful setting. The staff was very good. The property was dated but a lot of the others in that area were more dated.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Older but fine hotel in Maggie Valley"
Far from Cherokee - the 14 miles is on winding mountain road, takes a long time so not a good base for Cherokee or the casino. The hotel is a bit worn, but comfortable and clean with remodeled bathrooms. did not eat the breakfast or use the pool or facilities.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Too Far From Casino, but okay for a night"
TOO FAR from casino!! The 13-15 mile drive is up and down a mountain, very curvy road, minimal passing lanes. We only stayed one night, so not convenient at all for back and forth to the casino. The hotel room was pretty clean and comfortable. The hallways and other areas of the hotel are less than desirable. Typical overpriced budget hotel. We got […] back to the room around midnight and NO parking. The front desk clerk didn't do much about it, and told us to park in the grass field next to the hotel. Wasn't thrilled about that. Don't bother with the free breakfst unless you're starving or broke. Very small room that was packed. Food had been picked over and was mostly processed food. We took one look, and went elsewhere to eat. Maggie Valley seems like a nice community with lots to do. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
It was a comfortable hotel, but very pricey for the quality of accomodations. This should have been about an $80/night room, not $130.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Wonderful front desk staff"
The beds were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was hot and always full. We really enjoyed our mini vacation here and will definitely stay again when in the area.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Spent two separate nights at hotel"
We had a very nice stay at the hotel. The folks at the front desk were very friendly and helpful, the rooms were clean, and the mattresses new and comfortable. For the price, this is a great deal!Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The comfort inn was one of the best places to stay in maggie valley. No air in the hallways and had stairs instead of elavators.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Spring Break Family Adventure"
Staff was very nice and helpful. Recommended a wonderful restaurant. Room was clean. Decor is a bit dated, but was nice for price. The pool area could use a little updating and the water in both the pool and the hot tub, was almost too hot. But was definitely worth the price.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"There are no 5-star hotels in Maggie Valley"
There are no quality hotels in Maggie Valley. It was an average hotel. It is in a good location. We did not wait for check in. the attendant was very polite and informative. Mattresses were comfortable. It has a heated pool, which is nice in the mountains.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
The staff was very friendly, but that was the highlight of the stay. The indoor pool was cold. The police came to the horel for some reason. The water pressure in the shower was horrible. I would not reccomend the hotel or the area. It was the off season, so maybe that was the reason. Either way, we won't be back.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Convenient to the Wheels Through Time Museum"
We came to Maggie Valley just to enjoy the museum. It was a nice stay, although during breakfast the small dining room got hectic and it was hard to get to the food bar. Nice array of breakfast choices though. . . there were eggs, sausage, biscuits, sausage gravy, hot waffles and other usual items on the bar.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

i liked it ,it was nice and clean, downtown ,overall good stay :)Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Hotel is conveniently located near the Cataloochee Ski Resort and overall it's fine for an overnight or two night stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the continental breakfast was really good. Cleanliness was an issue: we did find a hair or two in the bathroom, and the beds had sheets with small holes/stains/stray hairs, and the stairs […] looked like they hadn't been vacuumed in a long time. Really easy place to stay. Friendly helpful staff. Nice Breakfast although coffee was lousy.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
We were pleased that the motel was so easy to find ~ streetside, not hidden somewhere. The personnel were all very friendly and the room was clean, comfortable and nicely appointed. We would recommend it to friends and, if we have an opportunity to visit Maggie Valley again, would look at booking there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"not as advertised"
Well when we got there, seemed fine, room was clean but since i booked through expedia, we didnt get the room we booked. Apparently when you use expedia you get a different room, they advertised spa tubs in every room, not a fact. Which was the main reason my wife wanted to stay there. She was disappointed to say the least. The heated pool is on the […] outside, no inside entrance. The best part of our stay was eating at the mexican restaurant with in walking distance. "A GOOD PLACE TO STAY !"
My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Comfort Inn in Maggie Valley..Our room was clean and the beds were comfortable. The Inn provides a buffet breakfast that was very good. On the bar they had eggs, sausage, sausage gravy, homemade biscuits, cereal w/milk, waffles, boiled eggs, fruit, yogurt, muffins, bagels, coffee and orange juice...The only draw back […] was there were not enough table & chairs in the dining area so if it was full you had to fix your plate & take it to your room to eat. In our room we only had 1 chair at the table so someone had to sit on the bed to eat ! Other than that, everything was good and I would recommend The Comfort Inn Maggie Valley. It was disappointing that the hotel does not have any type of workout facility as well.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Everything was good except the maid never came the next day. We had to ask for towels to get by. We waited until around 2:00 to leave. I made certain the 'do not disturb' sign was not outside the door. When we came back around 5:00 the 'do not disturb' sign had been placed on the outside of our door and the room had not been cleaned.Genuine Expedia guest review
