This hotel was dirty and the owners were rude and had terrible customer service. We booked because it was cheap, but once we got there we regretted it. The Housekeeper never serviced the room, when I went to tell the front desk clerk she called the housekeeper and he lied and said he did service the room which he did not. The place is run by an ethnic […] family (India or Persian) and they live in a few rooms in the hotel. WE left for a few hours and the hotel front desk clerk was to have the room cleaned because the shower curtain was very mildew and we needed new towels. I have stayed here a few times, however this time the Wifi wasn't working nor was the refrigerator. The shower curtain was ratty and the tub had some mold on it. The bed was very comfortable though. I was disappointed this time with all the other things going on.

I am not one to complain but this warrants a head's up for any one who may venture down to Augusta for any reason. The place was not clean at all and had our family not put us up for the night, trust me we gave them the riot act when we saw them the next day, we would have demanded our money back. Lesson learned is this, "you get what you pay for!"

I am not picky, but they didn't clean the room because a suitcase was on the bed. The room smelled like smoke though it was supposed to be non-smoking. The air condition was turned off each day by housekeeping so by the time we got to the room that night it was sweltering. And they charged us nightly for a cot. This was not anything as I'd expected. Upon check in the clerk made it a point to tell me that doctors from Doctors Hospital always utilize their facility. But once I went in the room, and opened the frig, it was foul smelling and nasty. Was too afraid to use the microwave. This Days Inn was okay. It was clean & everything worked; although, the vent was hanging down a little from the ceiling and the "breakfast area" was extremely small...I guess it served its purpose. First off, the place was safe and there were no creatures. With that said, we had to change rooms because the first one smelled of urine. The second room was better. It was adequate for our needs. The desk people were helpful.

I had to stay in Augusta for just one night, so I didn't mind saving a little money in exchange for losing a little luxury. BUT, I got even less than I expected. My room was clearly marked on the outside as non-smoking (which I'd requested), but there were butts all over the parking lot. When I opened the door, wafts of stale smoke smell inundated me […] (and my baby). On the table was another no-smoking sign...right next to the ashtray. No kidding. I have a photo. I found a bobby pin on the floor and was afraid to take my shoes off. There was a slit in one of the sheets. I just had the feeling nothing was really, truly clean. I requested a crib for my baby--yikes! The thing must have been 7 decades old. The legs were made to fold up out of the way, but when extended they made an odd/insecure angle with the crib. I wondered if it would all come crashing down if my baby rolled over. On the other hand, the staff was kind and it seemed he was doing his best. At the low rate I got, I didn't feel I could complain. When we arrived at 6pm (well past the 4 pm check in time) the first room we were given was not clean and had a horrible odor to the room. When we advised the front office they sent there cleaning crew up to clean and they took the dirty linens off the floor and proceeded to make up the beds (IILLLLLLLL) Since they did not speak english there was a communication […] barrier so they did not understand what I was telling them (which was...i want clean linens)..We complained again we were given another room...(just as bad)...the toilet flushed when it wanted toNOT WHEN IT WAS NEEDED TO /the carpet and the dresser had a sticky film to it/the shower took 2 hrs to unclog and this room also had an odor... so once again we complained...nothing was done..We were in town for a wedding and luckily we were able to stay with friends. After all these complaints you would think that we would be refunded our money, but that didnt happen..they gave us a 1 night refund and told us that since we didnt turn the key in there is nothing else they could do...I FOREWARN YOU..DO NOT STAY AT THE DAYS INN ON WHEELER ROAD..... If you are expecting a great breakfast this is not the place. If you want a quiet, clean and nice hotel at a reasonable rate. This is my top choice so far in the Augusta area.

Very nice staff. Room was clean, but there was still coffee in the cofee pot. AC ran great wich was good b/c if was over 100 the days we stayed. Ended up staying 4 additional nights (which the staff gave me at the rate I booked for the first 3 nights online!) Pool was clean. Very quiet around hotel even on the weekend. Breakfast wasn't what I expected: […] only cereal, English muffins, toast and mini doughnuts. Other than that a very pleasant stay for the price. No bells and whistles but you can't beat the rate. Only small thing that irked me was the fact that it was on a divided highway so we had to make alot of U-Turns to get into the hotel. While the room was as I had expected for the money, it was dated and the cleanliness in the room was questionable. It served it's purpose as a stop over stay. Getting in to the parking area was faily easy if coming from the highway, but very difficult and hard to maneauver to when coming from nearby resturants.

The hotel was not up to par on any level. It was old, needed renovations, the rate because of the masters golf tournament was double what it probably normally was. We would not normally stay in a hotel with this star rating and should be rated as a "one"
