"Chill at 6700 feet"
Everything was perfect, we felt we would like to stay more :) There are very cute little bunnies in the garden (can somebody tell us the type of the bunnies?) The hotel and the neighbourhood is very nice. It has a very good outdoor pool and outdoor jacuzzi. It is close to Grand Canyon and Meteor Crater. The breakfast is really good and full.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
This is a great place. I wish we could have stayed more than one night. It is outside of the town. Peaceful and beautiful setting. I can't say enough about how delicious our food was at the restaurant. The free breakfast was a choice of omelets or waffles. They give you a whole list of what you can put in your omelets.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

Good motel but the resort was a little lacking. Small pool, basketball court doubled as putting green.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Response by Mountain Ranch Resort at Beacon Hill Thank you for your review. Mountain Ranch is always striving for guest satisfaction and we appreciate your feedback. We are always looking for ways to make our guests stay more enjoyable.
It had everything you could need (except a fridge). There were horses, rabbits, and elk, which was really cool. It's close enough to flagstaff and the Grand Canyon to be worthwhile, and it's right on the highway but doesn't feel like it. Great place. Highly recommend it.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
Response by Mountain Ranch Resort at Beacon Hill Thank you for your wonderful review. This year has been a great year for the elk coming onto the property, at least 35 joined us last night! We are delighted you enjoyed your stay with us and hope to see you back in the future.
"Pet friendly and very nice"
We really enjoyed our stay, best part was that it's a pet friendly hotel. We wouldn't gave stayed otherwise. The food was great and we could dine on the patio with our beloved poodles. Nice trails to walk our dogs. Only wish they had an enclosed pet run. We will stay there again when we go back to the Grand Canyon. "Great Place with great and helpful staff"
The stay was great and the rooms were spaces and clean. The motel was away from the highway and was very quite with a great view in a ranch setting. It is located approx. 60 miles from the canyon and 7 miles from the city of Williams, which offers a lot of attractions for visitors. I would definitely stay again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great location, great food, friendly staff"
My spouse and I happened to have checked in for two nights that were designated the two "pasta nights." A chef made pasta to order, using top-quality (organic and fresh) ingredients. A salad was included, and it, too was top-quality. Each morning, the breakfast was complementary: made to order omelets, waffles, fresh/ripe fruit (organic berries and […] melons), greek yogurt, coffee, juice, etc. The food was exceptionally good, as was the service. We loved our stay here. It is beautifully decorated, with lots of things to do. A very nice breakfast, cheerful employees and manager, and nice swimming pool, hot tub, and exercise room with riding stables next door - all among pine trees and lots of land, and near Williams, a quaint little town with lots of entertainment, outdoor eating patios and […] shopping. Very nice. Only issue was getting the room cool. The a/c unit was not in the bedroom. Would definitely stay there again if we take another Grand Canyon trip.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"about 7 miles out of town"
Was very disappointed that they claimed to be in Williams. They are really 7 miles out of town. Hotel was nice, but have to ask to shampoo (missing) and more towels. They claimed "made to order breakfast", girl did not know anything about it. Got a 2 ounce OJ and they wanted money for a second! They did have horses and bikes, which we did not us. Found […] it odd they would not print a receipt for me when I check out. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

"Nice place to stay outside Williams"
We stayed 4 nights while visiting the Grand Canyon; choosing the hotel because it was outside Williams and likely to have nicer surroundings. We saw many birds, rabbits, squirrels and one day pronghorn antelope, in the morning outside the hotel, so it was well worth it. It is about the same distance from the highway to the Grand Canyon as Williams proper. […] The hotel had recently re-opened, and is still in the process of giving the exterior TLC. The rooms are standard; the breakfast, included in the room price was outstanding. The people are nice. We'd probably stay there again if we couldn't find anything closer to the park. As a college kid on a budget, I was looking for a place where I could take my girlfriend on a graduation trip that was nicer than a motel 8 type place, yet cheaper than the higher-end hotels. "this is a very nice place"
My wife and I enjoyed our stay here. Everyone was very nice and helpful and we enjoyed being able to walk in the forest behind the resort. We were told that it would be OK since it was national forestry land. The Grand Canyon is nearby and it made for an easy drive to get there. We would definitely stay there again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Amazing place, specially the forest."
It was a very good experience for our family, we enojoyed the nature and the outdoor places.Genuine Expedia guest review
I was impressed with the quality of the service and the room. I liked that a door from the parking area allows you to bring suitcases in easily, yet the room was large enough to also have a front door allowing easy access to the pool, play area and restaurant. Bathroom had modern tile with a curved rod. Bed was comfortable and room was quiet (it was […] off-season). Hotel is decorated in a western theme and has several teepees our front. Only downside was that breakfast was not included. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review

Remodeled and new everywhere. Very nice resturaunt and sort of a secluded area outside of town. Beautiful lobby too.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Large rooms nice setting"
I would give it 4 stars except they allow pets in ALL rooms. The room smelled like dog masked by heavy room deodorizer. The bathroom was nicely remodeled and very clean. Tv old and bad reception. Very quiet and spacious room.Genuine Expedia guest review
"Visit to GC"
This hotel is right off the freeway, which makes it convienent if you want to go to Flagstaff and/or Williams. But it is the only thing around. If you want to go anywhere, you will need to get in your car for a few mile drive. It's an older hotel, carpet is a little dirty, not much dresser space and an old tube TV with bad reception. The "Resort" amenities […] are pretty useless (tennis court with huge cracks, basketball court that doubles as a putting green with old green felt. But, you get what you pay for. "Good location close to Bearazonia and Deer Farm"
Last min hotel change do to the government shut down. Great clean rooms, close to I-40, surrounded by trees. Not really a resort but would stay again. Close to Bearazonia, The Deer Farm and Williams.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"It was cold & I couldn't do much about it."
It was cold & I couldn't do much about it. There were no extra blankets. The heater decided to stop blowing warm air. It was the middle of the night, so I just put on some socks & a sweat shirt. The room was alright. Horses in the back yard & jack rabbits all along the grounds were great.Genuine Expedia guest review

"Great western experience"
Fantastic time of year, uncrowded (off season and National Parks closed due to federal shutdown - that stinks). Nice access to freeway but limited noise, no train tracks nearby (unlike most of Flagstaff). Got in late but the staff was fantastic. Very helpful and friendly at checkout as well. Room large, clean, great bed.Genuine Expedia guest review
"For a great western experience"
Western home town dealing in the lounge. County music playing and friendly staff.Genuine Expedia guest review
The most comfortable room ever. Bed and pillows were the most comfortable. Just off the highway but a very quiet room. Good food at the restaurant but service a bit slow.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Overnight stop ."
This is no resort . Room was basic , TV was grainy & didn't provide much selection .For $ 114.00 I expected much more . Would not recommend to anyone . Lady @ check in was nice but didn't seem interested in providing much info..ie...when I asked if there was pizza delivery service available , she stated she did not know .Genuine Expedia guest review
"Charming hotel with beautiful surroundings"
The hotel room was very comfortable and had everything I needed. For the most part, the staff were very friendly. My favorite part was that our room was on the end of the building (room 134), just steps away from the horse stables. Horseback riding is available, though we didn't take advantage of it this time. The restaurant for dinner was hyped up […] by the front desk staff, but the food was only mediocre (New York strip over cooked, mashed potatoes were cold). However, the breakfast was excellent and a good deal. The breakfast vouchers that were included with the room allowed 4 of us to eat breakfast for $15 total plus tip. Another nice amenity are the pool and jacuzzi. We got to use the pool the last day before it was drained for the winter season. Sitting in the jacuzzi and enjoying the beautiful, clear starry sky was wonderful after a long drive. I would definitely recommend this hotel to others who want a great deal on a hotel that is a little over an hour from the Grand Canyon. Read moreGenuine Expedia guest review
"It gets the job done."
There's really not much in the area for hotels so its rather slim pickings. Room feels like an oversized dorm room with upgraded tv's and countertops. On site restaurant is good. I would stay here again.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
"Old & tired looking rooms"
Our room was old and tired looking. We arrived after government shutdown so the hotel was half empty. Linda from front desk was very helpful in helping us with rearangement. We ate in the restaurant. It was expensive if we did not have coupons given to us by the hotel.Genuine Hotels.com guest review

"Great location, staff, facilities and surroundings"
I chose this place because it is in between the So Cal and Albuquerque, NM. It was enjoyable to be central to some great day trips. Sedona and Grand Canyon weren't out of the way for me to go to. "Right off the Interstate"
Interesting place. Double size beds which I have not seen in a hotel in years. Most hotels have queen or king size beds. Did not use the restaurant. Carpeting in the room was terribly stained. Bathroom has obviously been recently remodeled and was nice.Genuine Hotels.com guest review
It's OK for one night. Many items out-dated. Looks like new owners are trying to do some improvements. (updated fixtures and new countertops & tiling in bathroom area). Furniture in my room was circa 1975 with an old CRT TV. The A/C+heat unit was ancient (and for tall people!) Restaurant on site for B/L/D is pricey for what you get and so-so. Pool and […] spa looked decent. Horseback riding available. Plan ahead and make reservations for riding. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
"Trip to NAU Family Week-end"
The hotel was clean and the front desk very helpful. The resturant was extremely good for dinner and breakfast. The all you can eat fresh cod and crab legs were excellent. "Stop on way to Grand Canyon South Rim"
A fair motel for an old old building that has been updated. Front desk was surly on check in, somewhat pleasant on check out. Room was very old motel type, but was clean. Typical room on first floor with door in back, door in front. 2 Buses of San Francisco tourists was loud and parked next to our room. Absolutely nothing in the area, you are very alone […] - no views and Williams is about 15 minutes by expressway away. In my opinion, too much money for the room, other than close to the highway and a long drive to Grand Canyon. Read moreGenuine Hotels.com guest review
