We were so very disappointed. During our one night stay at this hotel we were moved 3 times. We reserved a room with one king size bed and a pull out sofa. We were put in a room with two double beds on the third floor. We called the office and had to go all the way back to the office and move all of our things to the third floor. The heat was set at […] 68 degrees and the room had a big window with a draft. We were unable to set the room over 68 degrees. Once again we had to call the office and were moved back to the third floor. The halls on the bottom floor were freezing cold and the pool is set in an open area of the hotel on the first floor. Making the pool impossible to use. As the water temperature was also very cold. The hotel had the sleep numbers bed which I was excited to try, but it felt like I was sleeping on an air mattress. If by chance you should need to put more air into the mattress at night the motor is super loud. The hotel is an old building that is not very easy to get in and out of. In addition the halls are like a maze. There is no easy way to get to and from the office. Will never do this again. We normally stay at the Extended Stay in Southfield. It is half the price and much nicer. Thought we would treat our daughter with a pool and could not use it anyway! Read more

Bathroom not clean the Tub had hair. Floor was not clean. The pool area on Friday had towels. Saturday at 11:00 they had not been re stocked and dirty wet towels from Friday still in hamper. Vending machine not working.

Fabulous sleep number bed with lovely linens in both the bath and bed. Staff were very caring and the food in both the restaurant and diner (breakfast) was delicious and well-prepared.

the hotel is a nice area but is very much outdated. i had to be transferred out of my first room because the smell of mold was so overwhelming. i heard the restaurant next door is very good, but unfortunately i didn't have enough time to try it myself. i am an VIP expedia member but was not recognized as such upon arrival. i received a feedback form […] from expedia asking about my arrival and when i told them i received no special treatment, shortly thereafter i received a care package from management. although the location is nice, i doubt i'll stay here again because it just feel old and out of date. We had 3 rooms and were in Bloomfield Hills for a Dental Seminar. The rooms were very clean and the Sleep Number beds were very comfortable. Some of the areas were a little "tired" and needed an update. We did enjoy the restaurant for two evenings.The food asnd staff were wonderful.

I like hotels with character, no that doesn't mean it was old or run down, it means it isn't another side of the expressway box. This hotel is set in one of the most beautiful suburbs of Detroit a few blocks from Cranbrook which is always worth a quick visit to the groups and art areas. I only stayed the one night, but the staff was friendly and efficient, […] room was clean and unique. Sleep comfort bed was fun to try for a real night, not just in the store and it worked well. The room was charming for a single area with a bath, the layout really worked well. Everything was updated and very nice. You can tell quality by the Speakman shower head and the Delta faucets. The TV was a flat screen, but in an armoire which was nice to see the whole room wasn't "focused" on the TV. I have read some other reviews that didn't like this place, I can't understand those, I had a room right off the lobby and the room still couldn't have been nicer with no outside noise. I travel a lot for work and I am not sure how this hotel got any good ratings. The carpet everywhere is dirty and smelly. The tile in the bathroom has mold and mildew everywhere. I went to Target just to buy some bathroom cleaner. I could hear everything going on in the rooms next to me and in the hallway. This Radisson used to be a lovely independent suburban hotel. It is still in a lovely area (yes there are such things around Detroit). The staff was great, helpful and professional. The hotel is very reasonably priced, it seemed, but it is getting rather tired and worn and could use a redo. The select comfort beds were a plus however.

The only negative about this hotel is that the room layout is almost like going through a maze every time you travel to and from your room. The deli and the seafood restaurant in the hotel are very good.

Clean, safe, and desk staff were very helpful. There is an amazing seafood restaurant attached to the hotel. Be prepared, if you fly into Detroit to pay at least $80 to take a taxi to the hotel from the airport. I was told by telephone conversation directly to the hotel a few months before arrival that the hotel offers a free shuttle from airport to […] the hotel. When I arrived, I called the hotel and was informed there is no shuttle. Big disappointment and took me extra time to find a taxi. We paid ahead 1 month and asked for a King Room. We received Two Double Beds!!! They said that they coudn't change it. There was no soap for the bathroom sink. The cordless phone did not work. No Kleenix. No fan in the bathroom. They put a $50 hold on our credit card even though we paid ahead of time....

Ok, so the whole sleep number bed thing just stinks. No matter what setting you choose, it's just not as comfortable as a regular mattress. This hotel has two additional problems. First the pool is in a central enclosed space and chlorine smells permeate the halls, and I would guess rooms facing that inner courtyard (my room was on an outside wall and […] smelled fine). I did not get to take a swim as I would have liked but it was nice to see they had a pool. My room was clean and just what I needed. Great night sleep! The drive to my business meeting the next day was further than I expected but the hotel itself was exactly what I needed.

Hotel was great , room was clean, hot tub was hot and all staff i encountered were great. it was adrive to most things but not more than 10 -15 min to everything we wanted including greatlake crossing. i will stay here again.
