Knowing that the accommadations would not necessarily be the best for the price I paid, we were good with the cleanliness of our room. Granted the room did need a facelift especially in the bathroom. The tub was in great need of being replaced and the tile floor was orginal to when the motel was built. The tile grout was gross! Our stay was for 2 nights […] and we did expect maid service after the first night. Before we left the room the next day, I received a call from housekeeping. She wanted to know if we needed anything. She told me that they were short on maids for the day and would not necessarily get to our room. I told her we for sure needed more towels and the coffee service in the room needed replentished with coffee. She said she would take care of it. When we arrived by at the room, towels and coffee packs had been left on the desk. We knew then that was all that housekeeping had done. Read more

Our first room had a faulty outlet, so the TV and Microwave worked off and on. The room also smelled heavly of Pot. We called the front desk and they moved us. The second room seemed fine, until we turned on the TV. Every channel was snowy. We didn't have half the channels we were supposed to, no HBO, and the channels we did get were fuzzy. The second […] night the downstairs guests were very drunk and LOUD! We called the front desk twice and finally by 2am it was quiet enough to sleep. Front Desk staff was the best part of our stay. They were friendly and helpful! Requested a non-smoking room and that was what we were given, unfortunately the room reeked of smoke. The smoke detector would go off every time someone used the shower and it steamed up the room. Carpet was dirty, couldn't tell if it was just stained or someone just hadn't […] cleaned it. Television was totally unwatchable in the first room. Couldn't get hot water that night, but after moving once we elected to stay. had hot water in the morning but plumbing was a total mess. Free breakfast is mediocre. At least it was clean though.

The beds were quite comfortable. Room was very clean. The bathroom layout was great, although my one tiny complaint is the tub's water faucet ran too slowly - it took a while for the bath to fill to an adequate level. Stayed here 3 nights while enjoying the Vintage Bike Festival at Barber. 20 minutes from Barber. Nice, clean, comfortable room. The price was great and the neighborhood had lots of nice places to shop and eat within walking distance. The only minor gripe I have is the mattresses were a bit hard for my liking. I had very pleasant interactions with the hotel staff. While the location is out of the center of town, it is close enough to major highways to make getting easy.

Plusses: room was clean. Minusses: Via Hotels.com I had to take a wheelchair room which does NOT come with a bathroom vanity, and the door peephole was at my naval. No bathroom hair dryer. Clock radio didn't work. No freezer in frig, which barely stayed cold. Housekeeping didn't replace my room coffee the 2nd day. Pool was full of water and pretty, […] but closed (and it was 91 degrees)---don't know why. We got charged a pet fee (one small dog) but was NEVER made aware of the fee ahead of time. Paper thin walls, unfriendly night clerk, didn't get the room i paid for and had to sleep on a queen bed with my husband and 6 month old baby, NO ONE SLEPT. People [one talking about her several years of being a prostitute] outside our door ALLLL night long. only plus was the friendly man at the desk in the morning when we checked out.

I've stayed in this hotel for the past four years, when I attended the NASCAR race in Talladega, Alabama. I plan on staying here as long as I attend the races in Talladega. Everything I need is near the hotel and the room rates are great!

The hotel was nice overall. Room was clean, linens clean and staff was friendly. The contenental breakfast was good w/ lots of options and the location was great too, close to both downtown and suburbian hot spots (including The Summit down the street). Most of the other guests were decent, with the exception of one group of people our last night (Friday) […] who were outside playing really loud rap music and cutting up. It was nice to be greeted very friendly. I felt safe with the police patrolling the property consistantly throughout the night to make sure guest felt comfortable. This hotel is central to major destinations in the area. And the hotel staff where very friendly.

Das Hotel liegt zwar etwas weit entfernt vom Zentrum, jedoch in einer sauberen und ruhigen Umgebung. Ich bekam ein rollstuhgängiges Zimmmer, das entsprechend grösser war und sehr komfortabel. Ich kann das Hotel mit gutem Gewissen weiter empfehlen.
