The ONLY issue I had was housekeeping did not come--I think they thought my room was empty b/c I checked in so late. I stayed two nights. Aside from that, though, it was great: friendly quick front desk, comfortable room, great price, good location. Can't really ask for more.

The hotel room was clean, the location is very good, close to everything, the staff was very friendly. The only thing was a rock concert nearby and we could hear the music inside the room.

This Hotel has to be one of the nicest hotels I've stayed at in quite a while. Nice kind courteous staff. Knowledgeable of the local surroundings. Clean; Rooms, Pools(indoor and outdoor), and Hot-tub! Plenty of Parking. I requested a King size bed, it also had a sofa-bed a large work desk. Just an awesome Hotel to stay at! I would recommend this Hotel 100%!

Hotel a bit run down. Handicap parking taken by vehicles without placards, even while parking enforcement present--no action taken. A bit run down. Desk service inconsistent.

over all it was a good hotel, next time I will pay a little extra and stay right on the beach. It was only one block away however cars didn't seem to care about the 25mph speed limit or think they need to stop for a family as they use the crosswalk.

I have stayed in better hotels, but it wasn't bad. The worst part for us was the elevator situation. They only have 2 in the front lobby and they are slow, so most of the time we used the stairs and we were on the 5th floor. Not bad for us because our kids are big enough to help, so it worked out. The hotel is understaffed. The same poor girl was there everyday the entire week, both day and at night. I never got an answer at the front desk when I called, so I always had to go downstairs and once even had to knock on the laundry door, just to get assistance. The walk to the beach is not bad, but as I said, my kids are older. You have to cross two streets.

The hotel was very cordial and professional. Very clean and close to the Virginia Beach Convention Center. I would stay again. Beds were quite comfortable.

our room had a nice veiw but the whole hotel was in bad need of renovation. The elevator took about 20 min to get to the 5th floor. We havd very loud people on our floor who let their kids slam doors and run up and down the hall way screaming. The hotel staff did not put an end to this behavior quick enough or forcefully enough. We found Virgina Beach to be mostly dirty and unkempt. We won't be going back.

Hotel parking lot and landscaping looked like one big ashtray. Rooms are not sound-proof - could hear the person in the next room and could hear every door in the hallway close, even with the shower running. Family reunion on my floor had us calling security twice to get some peace and quiet. Pools are tiny, only 4 machines in the "fitness" area, reception area also tiny. No clocks in the rooms, no newspapers. Only had one person conducting checkout for a full hotel on a holiday weekend.

Convenient location didn't have to worry about parking. Breakfast included with our stay was a plus, and overall it was worth the great deal. Only problem was the elevator was kind of slow but was no big deal just took the stairwell. Friendly reception crew and quick check in and out.

just 2 blocks from boardwalk, couple blocks to good restaurants very convenient, staff were good but ELEVATOR SUCKS.

BUT, MY ROOM WAS NOT CLEANING EVERYDAY,THEY COME TO CLEAN ONLY THE BATHROOM AT 4PM BECAUSE I COLD A FRONT DESK

Very satisfied. Would stay at this location again. My dog was welcomed by the clerk and other workers. hot tub is small, but nice to have an indoor and outdoor pool.

Was able to rent for one night over Memorial Day weekend. Most other hotels required 2 night min.

Clean hotel, nice room, quiet, comfortable and 2 blocks from the beach. You can't beat that with a stick!!!

La quinta inn was not what i expected. The pictures showed really small bathrooms and did the hotel no justice. I was very impressed with the cost of the hotel and feel like I recieved a great deal by choosing to stay at this hotel. I would definitely come back and stay again. The only thing I didn't like was that breakfast ended so early, but I guess next stay I'll have to make it a point to be an early riser. =)

Room was clean and comfortable. Hallways needed cleaned, cookies and chips on the floor. Indoor Pool was tiny and dirty. Breakfast was good, lots of choices including make your own waffles. Good location one block from main drag.

Our sister circle booked this motel for a weekend retreat. we got there in tiume to use the pool. It was good experience for those that used it the others used the exercise room of which they also liked. The staff was very helpful. The only complaint was the breakfast as it consisted of no meat and boiled eggs. we didnt have enough syrup for the waffles or enough waffle irons other than that we loved our stay. we plan to return soon.

I love the hot tub and pool. I look for that when I travel. The price was great for all that we got. It was a girls weekend and we had a good time. Security was friendly and I felt safe. The staff was pleasant even for a bunch of mind changing women.

My fiancee and I enjoyed our stay, our room, the breakfast, the internet in the room, the location in relation to restaurants, access to 264 and the main strip/boardwalk. Nice pool and jacuzzi.

Myself and my husband stayed at this hotel and basically we were totally impressed. We walked into the newly renovated room it was fabulous. We had contemporary funiture,new carpet, wood floors in the entry and bathroom,and a flatscreen tv,the room was also very clean and had a fresh scent. The hotel definitley exceeds my expectations for the amount spent. The front desk clerk was very courteous and helpful too. We were also one block away from the oceanfront. I look forward to staying here my next trip to Virginia Beach. Thank you for yor fabulous services.

Nice hotel not many bells and whistles but it accomplished the task...

This hotel is very nice, comfortable, clean, great location.. the indoor pool was very warm, but it was winter so it was a good thing, and there's an outdoor pool for summer so I can't see a problem with that. Two blocks from the waterfront. Highly recommended!

Very clean and comfortable hotel. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay!

The beds were not very comfortable. Plenty of pillows, but bed not very soft. The carpets could stand to have a vacuum ran on them. Maintenance was working on the elevator while I was there, and that was a little annoying to hear it right beside my room. The room was laid out right. Good size. Frig, microwave, decent linens. Bathroom a little small, and they could stand to regrout the shower. The free internet in their business lounge was great since I don't have a laptop. Breakfast was general, nothing real special about it. Pool was a little small, but was a nice added comfort. Great location, and decently priced given the off season. Would stay there again.

The hotel was doing some renovations, so the elevators were not working. Being pregnant at the time, they made sure I got a bottom floor room. They were very helpful. The room was so much more than I had expected. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that doesn't mind not having ocean front as it is located on Pacific instead of Atlantic Ave.

Only one elevator was still working, as mentioned in another review. Wireless never connected in any place in the hotel. Quality of sheets and bed linens was less than good. Room service knocking in door at 8:45 am on a Saturday to clean, was too early. No open electrical outlets near the desk in room, only one was way behind the couch near floor, and not easily accessible.

We came down to meet some of the vendors for our destination wedding that will be held at Sandbridge Beach. This hotel was in a central location. Rooms, overall cleanliness of the hotel and service exceeded our expectations. However, I would not stay here if I was vacationing. Not in the nicest area of VA Beach.

A little off the beach but a great hotel for the price. Few disappointing items (pool and jacuzzi were closed due to a new local law; cleanliness not up to par) but overall a good experience given the price point.

Our stay was nice other than the fact they would let just about anyone get a room key. An acquiantance of ours got mad at us and went back to the hotel and stole a few minor things. It would have been a bigger deal had it been the laptop or various expensive items around the room. I think they need to step up their standards as fas as that goes, but the hotel was very nice other than that. At the price we paid I expected something far less superior.

Hotel Decour was excellent, beds were very comfortable, location was great. Hotel was so much better than I thought it would be. Was better or just as good as other more expensive hotels. We will definatley be staying there every time we go to Virginia.

The only bad thing is that only one elevator worked. The rest of my stay was great.
