Although located outside Toronto at a mall and not in an interesting or historic location, the hotel was very modern and clean. The staff was solicitous and helpful. The live music at the bar on Saturday night was a huge plus!

It was a convienent location . Walls too thin had to experience loud vociferous activity during the wee hours of the morning, very disruptive especially when one has to attend class next morning. The location is fantastic. It was a five minute walk to the Air Canada Centre and the Hockey Hall of Fame. It took two minutes to walk to the St Lawrence Market. Neighborhood was safe, clean and quiet. There was a lot of construction going on nearby but it was still easy to navigate.

Everything about the hotel was great: location, cleanliness, comfort. However, the first staff person I dealt with was truly awful. He was rude, unhelpful and overall disrespectful. The hotel experience would have been totally perfect had we had a different person check us in.

Clean room, small but updated and well kept up. Staff was friendly. Extras (parking, breakfast, etc.) were expensive. If I had paid the going rate, I would have expected more. The hotel was close to mass transit, Air Canada Centre, CN Tower, the Distillery District, all within walking distance.

Hotel is well located in booming and interesting section of the city. The staff is very agreeable and tries hard, but it is getting a little tired and rooms (our room at least) could benefit from a up-grade. If the price is right, OK. But there are others as well sited and better appointed.

Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Location couldn't be better for my needs. Room service was quick and very delicious. The food choices were great - not your typical, plain items - although you can still have something like a hamburg if you prefer. Will be staying again, already made my reservation :)

We've stayed at a Novotel before prior to this and was very happy with it so we decided to stay with this chain again. I choose this hotel because the pictures look great on their website. The hotel lobby was fine. We had some minor issues with the key card to the elevator but that was fixed within 5 mins. The parking is quite annoying since it's on […] a different elevator bank. So you if you went upstairs and forgot something, you would have to go back downstairs to the lobby and take the parking elevator. But these are not even the biggest issues. The issue is that the rooms are old and outdated. Our room had no view whatsoever since it was facing the garage. Their is NO mini fridge so if you shop for diary or meats at the St. Lawrence Market, it would just go to waste. The worse part was that the air conditioner did NOT work and the windows did NOT open. There is also no vent in the bathroom. So by the time you finished showering, it is boiling in that room. Also, the bathtub is clogged so after one shower, the water in the tub is filled to the top. I know that Novotel is a reputable chain but definitely not this one. I would advise not to stay here since you're paying a hefty amount at this chain. Read more

We really enjoyed our stay at the Novotel. It was located within walking distance of the Air Canada Center, where we attended a concert. Our package included a wonderful buffet breakfast. The convenience of the underground parking was also a positive for the hotel.
